My name is Ye Yong, and I’m panicking right now. I was just reading a novel and accidentally got hit by my phone and I transmigrated and became an antagonist.

Right now, every day, my thoughts are occupied with how to avoid the male lead and how to make the female protagonists fall for me.

I think and plan my actions carefully, and I make every move according to plan. However, the development seems to have gotten off track. The most obvious changes are the female protagonists, who became different than how they were in the novel. They-

It became a little bit boring. MC acted like too much good guy and he is overpowered as f*ck. The progress between MC and the Heroines is brilliant. It is quite an amazing novel for people who loved SOL. The novel takes the approach of romance and Harem parts instead of the usual cultivation novels.

If you enjoy romance and overpowered MC, it is a great one

It's an okay read if you want to see a villain who isn't an as*hole to everyone just because he is a villain. There aren't too many conflicts going on here so it's more of a slice-of-life story than anything else. My main complaints about this work is the MC himself. He's so contradictory it's infuriating sometimes. One chapter he'll be saying how he isn't a good guy and won't try to save everyone in front of him but then the next time he'll say how if he does something... more>> he'll save the foxes and the city. If you want to be a good guy, go for it. No one is judging this idiot because he only ever thinks these things but doesn't state them out loud so he should quit trying to make black and white arguments about good and bad and just do thinks he can do without justifying it to the readers. If the MC has to do that, then it just lets us readers know he will do the opposite at some point in the story.

He also wants to interact with the heroines to the point that almost everything he does is the attract their attention. Like which part of the sect to join and what abilities to get. At first it was only to get villain points but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. His interactions with them are a bit cringe later on especially because the readers get to see his thoughts. Make no mistake, his goal is to make a harem that he can't f*ck until the end.

MC is also loved so much by the public that he feels like Jesus. Seriously, besides obvious haters like demons and monsters, everyone just loves him to death. It gets somewhat boring because he never has any conflicts since he's so loved. This is what makes him complacent and doesn't have a sense of danger. This idiot never realizes that the more attention you get the more someone is going to want to bring you down. Just because he's not the protagonist, he thinks nobody will really want to go against him. The only danger he thinks he can get is from the original protagonist so he disregards his fame attracting negative attention from others. I was pulling my hair out by the time I finished volume 2 so I'll take a break from this story and continue it later.

With all that said, why did I give it 4 stars? Simply for the fact that he doesn't use his identity as a villain to be an as*hole to people. I have read quite a few stories about the villain character being the MC and one thing that always infuriates me about these is that the MC uses his villain character as an excuse to just be killing or being an as*hole to people just because he is the "villain" or use some weak justification for all the s*upid things they do as a "villain". This MC realizes he can only save himself and his family if he isn't going out and causing people to hate him. Readers are also at fault with villain characters being as*holes to everyone because they always comment "he's the villain and should act as such" without realizing the villain is only a villain from the point of view of the protagonist but not necessarily from another point of view. I dislike this MC but I dislike the type of MC that goes out to face-slap people just to do it even more.

I'd say give this a shot, at least the first volume and if it's not really drawing you in, then stop because it won't be getting better any time soon. <<less

Very generic, it’s basically every reincarnated into game world novel.

takes what the protagonist would’ve got, FL, etc.

if it focused more on comedy then it could maybe get a 4* from me but right now, it is ticking every cliche and using them in the most generic way.

Good reincarnation novel with the MC being reborn as a villain. He decides to avoid interacting with the heroines.

But by doing so he drives there attention towards him. Of course he has a system as well. The transition seems excellent. Can't wait to see more of this novel.

This novel is pretty good. The plot is not rushed or it's slow the only problem with this novel is author tends to explain things too elaborately which while reading can be quite irritating. And some fluffy moments which is written very well I am more interested in interactions between the MC and fMC than the actual fight or cultivation level. And another reason why I like this novel is unlike other Chinese reincarnation novel where MC starts face-slapping every body at the start this MC is quite a gentleman... more>> and cares for fMC which is quite rare in Chinese novels where MC just because a fMC calls him a loser he will loath her till the end and make her regret her choice for telling that and then MC comes and saves the day of that poor fMC and adds her into his Pokemon collection <<less

This thing is unexpectedly good

the novel protagonist (not mc) isn't necessarily bad like the other novel where they only think of seggs

and the villain isn't completely ret*rded either although their appearance is rare

now the heroines... they are.. good I guess. they don't immediately fall for MC on first move (altough the tsundere fall with the suspension bridge effect) but with continues care

as for the MC, he's fine. there's character progression but he is still obsessed with the store currency

Overrated.

The MC is pretty s*upid, and the story is pretty bland. He’s s*upid because he doesn’t cause and effect until the effects are shown to him. That means he can’t really see around the corner and just does whatever.

What makes it worse is that the author feels the need to spell it out for us, in addition to seeing the change, which is tedious.

On top of that there’s a system... for whatever reason. Also the typical no one questions where the rare items and techniques come from, how growth is... more>> so fast, etc. Add on the fact that MC acts counter to his goals- “I need to stay away from X” and literally does the opposite within 2 chapters. <<less

Pretty bland. The MC is terrible at stealing the opportunities away from the hero, and is constantly terrified of running into him. (The hero is exactly as strong as in the plot with or without the MC's intervention.) As a result, the focus *should* be on the heroines, and it is to some extent, but the romance is bad and as you can tell from the tags the MC is firmly in the never have s*x club. All that's left of interest is getting stronger, but the MC can just... more>> instant-learn things he buys from the system. The other skills he gets from martial arts manuals also get autolearned over time, so he never has to practice skills, just sit mindlessly cultivating and downing pills. <<less

This is one of the best Chinese novels I’ve ever read phenomenal start. The way he helps other people is unique in xianxia novels. Other characters reactions and behaviors are also very believable.

(Edit: I wrote this originally at the end of volume 1. I put edits to show my more recent thoughts)

(Edit 2: My opinion have sorta changed, but other than being slow in some places and the author being Indecisive. It's still woth reading)

I liked it, but it probably isn't for everyone.

It's slow and places a lot of worldbuilding details in strange places. The author seems to have a very exact story they want to tell, though that doesn't mean this is a bastioned of originality. The... more>> male lead is generally likeable, like if I met them irl with no power, I would probably be his friend. The harem is intresting, it is extremely slow, and gives a lot of time to each person, to the point it almost doesn't feel like a harem.

It also isn't a true action novel, more comparable with the comedy and borderline shitpost Xuanhuan than the traditional actions. But it takes itself serious which isn't like comedy Xuanhuan either.

(Edit 1.1: That f$cking dog, It's a comic relief character named Xia Shiqi. Every time that wolf is in a scene I want to commit a crime. Like it is seriously just a joke character that isn't funny. If I'm reincarnated, even if it means defying the heavans, I've got a fist with your name on it!!!)

Very unique, and it hit all the right spots for me.

(Edit 1.2: It like I got a fancy back scratcher that worked really well, but after a month of use, the scratching part got a chip. So now it is nowhere near as good, but it would be a waste to throw it away, so I still use it anyway) <<less
