Reading about the Gong is so painful to me. Is an adult like him actually exist out there? He's a genius on science field so I think he's a Thinker person. Yes, a Thinker person has this deep logical mind where they can be clueless of common daily life activities.
So it kind of annoy me how his family pamper him so much that he can't even cross road? Use chopstick (what? Do they hand-feed him?). How to use the phone properly even though he's in science field?? Whattt???
But, oh hey, he's a professor and teaches college student. How awesome is that?

First instance we get to touch on the subject is

when there has been no symptoms of OCD from ML so far at all in the story but more along the lines of ASD. More details:
clearly not OCD:
Only wants to maintain his order, not obsessed with particular symmetry, no tics, no particular fear of bacteria or cleanliness obsessions, no aggressions from breaking said OCD symptoms.
Likelihood to be ASD:
Has troubles communicating with people, underwhelming reactions to sensual and visuals like not fond of food/general nourishment and unable to focus on conversations, inappropriate social interaction and visible delays in learning (cannot remember ways of commute, modern lingo, social behaviour etc etc.)
MC doesn't want to spend another lifetime living for anybody else, yet ironically we have a mentally disabled person who's persistently attaching themselves onto MC, while MC also has to deal with the annoyance of his booming career.
And I'm saying mentally disabled on purpose because due to MC having MC status, it's not like he can shove him aside and ignore him. MC HAS to tolerate ML.
It's the same as if he'd tried to get away from an overbearing CEO but overbearing CEO doesn't respect his disinterest and forcefully ties him down, just that in this case we can't blame ML for hanging onto MC. For those saying he's not mentally disabled: It's an obvious fact that ML cannot look after himself regardless how mature he can seem, he NEEDS adult supervision. ML is NOT MC's type at all either, the story outline is predictable AF from here on;
most likely just majority about MC succeeding in his career and ML occasionally getting into trouble and has more fateful encounters w/ MC and ML gradually growing onto MC.
I don't care how cute ML is and how cute they are later on together; I'm bothered by this outline set up like their forced encounters and foreseeable future.
Also want to punch the ableist biased mom of ML in the face. Treating ML like a baby and neglecting/ignoring her other children triggers the F out of me.Alright, read some spoilers, it's still hella one sided, MC only saved ML's life, he was, again I repeat, not romantically interested in ML.
Just by the basis someone saved your life in the first lifetime you have to date them in your reborn lives by fate's dictation? Uncomfortable af. It would've been fine if at least MC was attracted to ML and he sought ML out to repay the favour willingly. But no, he isn't and he didn't.
On the other hand, the ex of MC seems much more promising as they were, let's say this out loud, MUTUALLY IN LOVE. Dang it!!
