I expected the MC to be ruthless and decisive enough since it's ancient time but no. She's naive, forgiving, and even though she's physically strong and would resort to physical means, I still find her as a pushover. Even though I find these qualities not pleasing, it's (lil) okay since we all have flaws, it's normal.

What I find a turn off is that the MC is TOO righteous.

in 50ish or 60ish chapter, there's a scene where three men were paraded and lashed by the brothel owner and here our dear MC came out being a mary sue reasoned that it's wrong to treat people like that like they are humans and should be treated as such whatever my ass. And we all know that s*aves in the ancient time have no rights. Her only option would be to buy them or if she's powerful enough but she has none so all she did is to beg and blackmail the brothel owner. She did not even think of worsening the situation of the three men by interfering. Even if the brothel owner is blackmailed that does not mean that she can't do tricks behind the scene, and I was right in the latter chapters. You could be righteous but please don't harm other people because of your righteousness.

She forgave the brothel owner for three times. OFFENSES: (1) When her two men were taken to the brothel before the due date of her debt; (2) A lackey of the brothel owner pretended to be 'dead' so that she'll be accused of 'quakery'; (3) ghost prank with a purpose of making her disabled.

She forgave the manager (?) of the sewing whatever business two times.

She let the village head go for causing commotion and the reason for their burning house. She just threaten her. What the village owner got is just fright and no physical harm even though the third brother was burned in his arm.

She forgave the 'acquintance' in porter two times. The last offense is for taking the the mc's two men and in which one was almost r*ped.

ARGH. I WAS SO FRUSTRATED. I KEEP ON READING FROM 6PM UNTIL 2AM AND THIS IS WHAT I GOT. FRUSTRATION.

The MC let them go. I mean I understand that she has no power and the consequences did not let her from sending them to the yamen BUT SHE DID NOT DO ANYTHING. ALL SHE DID WAS THREATEN. SHE DID NOT DO ANYTHING.

Can she do some 'shady tricks' like to just avenge the grievances that her men suffered? I might think that she's a masochist. She's not nipping the problem from the bud. She surely loves getting abused.

Personally I don't like this novel. My time is just wasted.

If you love a novel that has neverending problems and villains getting threatened, this is for you. Almost all chapters has MC encountering jumping villains, unsatisfying faceslaps, and just bunch of threats. The relaxing moments are too short while remaining percent would be hehe

Gonna remove the two stars as a compensation for not letting me sleep until 3AM. : ( <<less

Well, it's obviously not a real 5, but 3.5 would only be perfect if there were more 0, 1, 2 to really mean that score

in that very peculiar register (polyandry) it's a pretty good one - for a starter, the rules of the world are different : female rules, and men have to endure in a way many females in history did and sadly still do : they are the properties of their « wife » after being that of their mother (replace by husband, father, you're familiar) the... more>> world is very ruthless toward male, they have little to no freedom, and are very dependent -
It's not like it's entirely new, but what actually is different is that ou MC, for once is really the « boss » of the family for real - she's a true independent woman with strong mindset and deep values : she won't become the cute bed thing of a bunch of brother, for a starter, (there's no bedding so far), but she's not a meek little girl who's going to be obedient with her many's husband (sadly she might become the tyrant everyone admire and covet, but we are not there so far)

From the start, she wants to break her wedding because the men didn't choose it, they are victims - however this can't be done because it would ruin her partners, by society rules - so she chose to do the best for them and stay together until better solutions can be found.
Of course their relationship grows, and from hatred of her former self, affection, respect and attraction slowly makes their way, so that new balance will have to be found, while the 4 companion and herself challenge their own limits and feelings : how can the precious status quo of their peaceful relationship grow into romance is yet to know - As a reader, I feel the need to see improvement in these relationships, because the male are too subservient and they end up being spectators of the story. it's also possible they need to actually have a real husband and wife relationship to be able grow, but I feel a bit disappointed there

Nonetheless the romance is very slow paced, instead of a humping disaster debating how to endure so much male energy, there's a bit more feel for how complicated it is to adjust in that very peculiar model, if it's even possible to accept it, without hurting anyone

Ou MC is a still modern at heart, and it last - she has a real hard time with barbaric laws of the time, she can't make sense of it, and she stand against them as much as can be with loads of realistic limits - she takes risks for herself, but she doesn't do miracles - it's a struggle to keep a « clean mind » and not become barbaric too

i read someone dispointed because she can't stand three s*ave beings beaten in the streets - of course she can redeem them : not only because it would cost a lot of money, but because she'd get three new concubine and that she can't afford - so is she irresponsible because she still want to do and does the best with what she can ? I don't think so - if everyone was like her, btw, these miserable things would not happen at all - There's no good way in the story - she doesn't have the strength to change the rules - but at least she's not idle or blind to their misery - bringing them dignity is a lot - and yes, they go back to the br0thel they escaped from, but she didn't bring them back to their captors, they beaten for being caught running ! She manages to stop their public humiliation and threaten their owner, in order to give them a chance to chose from the very evil option of that place - not perfect, far from it - but a lesser evil to which they can survive, instead of being beaten hald dead in public and thrown to the worse pit

you may dislike it, I actually prefer it that way, it's more humble and realistic : no one has the power to save everyone in need by himself - but doing nothing would be the way to make sure no ones get helped, whereas many things in the world would change, of people were to answer the call of their heart - Being a 21th century person doesn't give miraculous edge, knowledge or power - but maybe, at least for some of us, it might have given us more desires for equality, well-being of people, respect of human life...

Living up to these values, is tough even in our world, it's harder in that medieval dictature and she has little means - Contrary to some ridiculous text, she didn't become rich in twelve chapters, found herself a bunch of powerful husbands or sweep the guys of their feet to conquer them in a heartbeat - and she has to endure a lot, there's no easy way : She's strong, but far from invincible. She's hated at the beginning, she'll meet a lot of stronger people a along - she's a doctor, but it's not like it's going to bring her super ability to undo the wrong of the body she borrowed in an instant - to make it short, she has talent, but as much hardships

The pace is good, she meet a lot of very interesting side characters, some relationships are fast to grow, others takes time to unfold and grow, and that bunch of quasi nice people make up for a lot of evil around too - The rules of the world are hard to bear, and there's a lot of mean people to make hell of her life, some things need brawl, brain, or cooperation to be solved, others don't have a solution, it keeps the tension and make things interesting -

So what not to like ? Honestly, i'd like to see more of the husbands development, it's sad, they feel too much like decorations and don't have much on their own strengths (it might not last ?) - Also the more it goes, the more it feels like a one woman show, and it might become a bit too much and I wish it would no be more

Lastly what's interesting, is the highest stake of her challenge, as she somehow grew the ambition to change at least part of the very inhumane rules of the states (the one ordering the killing of extra male babies) It's big, but not naive so far - it's a very dangerous endeavor and it's presented as such
The cast is very good, it's realistic enough not to become ridiculous, and if the writer give more room to the boy and maybe limits the op growing vides of the MC, there's room for a pretty good story

i hope more will be translated and thanks for bringing this title to us :D <<less

She is so careless at times and naive. She forgives people who tries to kill her and she's not decisive enough. She's only reliant on her medical skills but always gets injured and placed in a life and death situation. She's always surprised that someone tries to kill her and is extremely limited in her decision making skills.

The protagonist is ridiculously naive and should not have made it past childhood if your familiar with the Isekai genre you know the hero troupe where the guy is overpowered naive s*upid and has a strong sense of justice put those qualities in a woman and you have this protagonist. This is garbage and I don't recommend it in the slightest. The only demographic who I see like this is h**ny teenage girls.

Dropped, don't bother reading

It's not good. I only bothered to read it because I was curious if it was gonna turn around or not but sadly nothing could save this novel. Everything is very disappointing.

The world building sucks, nothing special about the world she fell into. Supposedly females are the rulers and males are under them but it's all just a cover up. Just change the pronouns around and it's like a normal male dominated historical harem story. Eh.

Characters suck too. All of them. FL sucks. Very Mary Sue, the... more>> most dumbest, naive, and forgiving one I've read in a long long while. I get it, don't wanna be a black bellied FL, okay, but why you gotta make her s*upid? Her male harem, eh, nothing special. I don't even remember their names that's how much they bore me to death. And most of all, the villains in here are so friggin' annoying. They're like Team Rocket from Pokémon! FL and her team knows they're bad people and are always trying to come after them and set them up but always let them go free and 'forgives them' ONLY TO BE HARMED BY THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN! They won't die or learn their lesson. They aren't even capable villains either, the things they do are petty and irritating at best. *rollseyes*

Don't bother reading the webtoon manhua either.

So far am loving what the author is doing with this one,

: Great tags, characters, everything is spot on so far; I mean usually when you come across a reverse harem, the husbands or suitors are allover the MC be it willingly or unwillingly, rarely do you find one where they want nothing to do with her and as of now she has nothing to offer them, like literary nothing! God the suspense is killing me, I want to know what happens, am dying for more chapters.
