“In the dark net of the world, a secret assassination group had become everyone’s nightmare. That was because the success rate of this assassination organization was 100%!

It could be said that once this group accepted a mission, the target would absolutely be killed.

When the important figures of the world were all panicking, no one knew what was happening in a certain luxurious house near Times Square, USA.

A blonde youth was silently answering the system. “”I agree to spend 3 million to enhance ‘001-Fly Assassin'””.

“”Ding dong, the wings of your assassin fly have been enhanced. Its wings now carry alloy weapons. When it flies past its target, it can execute the target easily!””

When the system finished answering, the youth lay down lazily on the sofa, and silently picked up his laptop and opened up the list of commissions.

He immediately looked for the orders with the greatest rewards. This was because he had to continue to enhance his animal assassins group, but he was out of money again!”

Dumb and poor transmigrated MC gets a system where he can evolve pets into assassin to kill people and get money from bounties.

I started reading just only expecting cool killer pets. (And to add tags because there weren't any when I read except fantasy genre) But lot of parts bothered me.

    • Author/MC are pervs. (There's are nudes and inappropriate stuff)
    • Lots of dumbness here and there, especially when MC goes to school.
    • not fleshed out characters. many are dumb or just for sexy time, pretty much 1 dimensional.
    • Author does not know how American schools work; it feels like typical Chinese school story and culture + MC secretly got this assassin group of pets set up.
Spoiler

I don't not understand how a poor and dumb MC would be in college (I assume it's college cuz MC buys cigarettes to smoke easily & goes to clubs/bars) but be in dorm /apartment room without any job. (This is before he got the system and he definitely doesn't have scholarship).

Also does he not have a major?? I don't get why he's even in school if he had no major in mind and just thinking of dropping out (though he stays cuz this is nice cover for the assassin pets ok)

the parts where MC interacts with the 'invigilator' (idk what this term is but it doesn't sounds like a professor, probably supposed to a proctor) and principal is all circled around respecting teacher & reputation - keeping face.... which seems prominent in Chinese webnovels but honestly seems mismatch for American culture.

Like the whole cheating situation, I'd expect MC attempting to sue the school over the situation, not a typical cn 'school broadcast public apology' moment.. like I guess it didn't come to author's mind about being able to sue the school because he had other plans but yeah

[collapse]

Overall so far I feel like author could have done research to make the USA setting work; it feels sloppy.

Terribly written plot and also really bad character interaction or personalities. As one of or the only review aside from mine says, pretty much they just changed countries names to USA and western names. All of the actions of MC are typical of badly done chinese webnovels.

Initially, it wasn't so bad with the evolution and what not but even the author or translator didn't bother fixing simple stuff like amount of reward money being consistent over few chapters lol Forget about actual plot and characters :\

I highly do not recommend... more>> anyone to waste time but if someone can get to chapter 20 and think, this is readable then great for you. <<less
