The plot is a labyrinth of clichés that offers no surprises or genuine moments of intrigue. Every twist and turn is painstakingly predictable, as if the author merely compiled a list of tired plot devices and ticked them off one by one. From the "chosen one" narrative to the tiresome chinese tropes, there isn't a single moment of originality to be found. It's a shameless regurgitation of overused storylines that fail to engage the reader or offer any semblance of intellectual stimulation.

The worst part about this novel is the main characters personality.

Whether it’s because the author sucks at writing, I can’t say, but I can tell you that the MC never has had a single normal conversation in the first 50 chapters.

Every single interaction he has had is a one liner that almost always results in a fight.

... more>> For example:

(Prior #1 sect genius) ”Oh, junior brother, you’re here to learn refinement techniques?” (MC) “What’s it to you?”

Granted now, death and killing in this novel is the same as breathing - sect members casually cripple each other - but still, the MC has the personality of a brick.

And as is usually the case, despite having a magic system that gives him power, he’s super arrogant and acts like he’s a genius due to hard work...

This isn’t the worst CN, but it’s definitely not great and you will be rolling your eye’s if you’re an experienced web novel reader. <<less

MC personality is shitty when it come to self awareness.

"So weak?" Said MC after crossrealm one shoot kill and he keep repeating this, lamenting how he easily killed his enemies. It's only making the MC more annoying, to be so ignorance and dense. Man, even the kind of overarrogance MC look more pleasing than him.

I got curious about this novel because I wanted to see how many different 'protagonist halos' could the author come up with. So by ch.162 there are 12 halos... quite far from a trillion (1, 000, 000, 000, 000). Regardless, I didn't expect for the author to reach that kind of number, but I was hoping for the number to breach at least 3 digits.

... well, it's all about slapping others.

Slapping to the left. Slapping to the right. Slapping up, slapping down. Slapping forward, slapping backward. Slapping faster, slapping slower, harder, softer, slap, slap, slap...

... basically that's how the story is turning. After a while the story becomes numb. Even fast food wouldn't be so bland.

There's an attempt at writing a plot, at writing characters and so on, but... yeah... not happening. After so many chapters, it feels as if the author gave up on trying and just rolls characters on a conveyor.

Do not expect anything from this novel. It even became tiring to read it after 150 chapters at how numbing it became.

I was thinking to give it a 3 star, but on second thought, 1 star fits it better. <<less
