She really could've at least shown a human level of respect in refusing. If it had been about her disliking the hypocrisy of him loving HER for looks despite being sloppy himself and him hearing that then cleaning up, I think I could like this... Don't get me wrong she had every right to refuse, but in public? That cruelly? Even if he was being a bit dumb, she said he lacked ANY sort of sincerity and effort... I mean, good public relations and a thriving economy are both things that are important in one's social life. It's not as easy as it looks to put yourself out there. It's certainly harder than locking yourself in your room and claiming you're too cool for everything.
I think the basic level of self care is important but picking on someone's weight and skin is a lot... It hurts a lot to be shamed. Neither weight gain OR acne can be blamed entirely on poor self care.
