Lu Yuan. Originally, he was just a normal ordinary person, but one day, he crossed over to a parallel universe and became the famous Doomsday of the DC universe.

Doomsday was not just a single monster. It was a terrifying legion made by the technology of Kryptonian civilization.

However, Doomsday was not Superman. It was actually a terrifying biological weapon that was created by transforming and resurrecting the Kryptonians who died after gaining superhuman strength.

Lu Yuan crossed over and became one of the Doomsday. Then he stayed inside the Sun’s core for a hundred thousand years.

One day, Lu Yuan woke up, but just as he flew back to Earth, he discovered that this was no longer the Earth of the DC universe. He didn’t know why he seemed to have traveled to the Marvel universe?

“Isn’t that incredible? Without kryptonite, I’m a God.”

Chapter 1: "Space is a vacuum so sound can't be transmitted through it"

Chapter 3: "I'm in space, and I can hear every sound in the galaxy"

Plus, he straight out calls everyone in Marvel tr*sh.

... more>> There's also the issue of him going "oh, I saved this guy but now he won't have the character growth he was supposed to have. How do I mess with him to advance the plot?"

Finally, the author keeps on describing things that will happen and characters that will show up in the future, both in terms of the original work and how the main character will interact with them. It would be nice if he would just get on with the story, allowing the main character to react to differences or similarities, it's like the author wants to bludgeon you to death with comic book trivia while also having his mary sue doomsday trample over all your favorite characters. <<less

There are Fan-Fiction that are tolerable and good for a casual read. There are Fan-Fiction that are even better than their original stories due to the author’s competence and impeccable writing skills.

Then there are these ones. This story is the result when it comes to most Chinese Novels, Korean Novels, and Japanese Novels that are on a power trip.

Unfortunately, while there are decent and great self-fulfilment novels and fan-fictions out there, this is not one of them. Not only is the MC have no discernible personality, he is a “calculative,... more>> edgy, Edge-Lord” that belongs in a bladed weapons museum.

There is absolutely nothing fun when reading about a seemingly invincible MC that can possibly fight with Black Hole Sues for gravitational dominance, putting this MC in a trope/class of his own.

I guess the term would be “Black Hole Stu” for an advanced stage of Marty Stu* with a large helping of Mary Sue, and that should be the case for this novel. That is the main problem with this story and there are many other things that adds more salt to the wounds.

The PPC would have a field day with this story, like so many others Chinese Novels. Yeah, I went there. Because seriously, there is a disproportionate amount of published Badfic done by novels in Chinese (even if the author isn’t ethically Chinese) in comparison to almost every other novels.

There will be bad fan-fiction and original novels out in any language, but for some reason, the ones in Chinese are usually the worst out of the bunch.

Rant Over. Give this novel a try, I dare you.

*Yeah, I only did this rant because this story butchered Doomsday and Marvel badly enough I want to find the author and give him/her (most likely a “he”) a knuckle sandwich before dumping his unconscious behind in a creative writing course. <<less

"Isn't that incredible? Without kryptonite, I'm a God."

literal lies in the very description. On the very first chapter it is explained that MC became "immune" to kryptonite after killing himself with it as doomsday and that doomsday gains immunity to whatever kills it, and resurrects after dying obviously.

excerpt from chapter 2:... more>>
Spoiler

In other words, an object would take eight minutes to travel from the sun to Earth at the speed of light.

However, Lu Yuan only saw a flash, and he had already arrived outside the atmosphere of Earth.

Someone would have taken eight minutes to travel at the speed of light, but he did it in an instant, in other words, his speed was no longer measurable.

[collapse]

technically or scientifically an object that moves at the speed of light does not kinda experience time, so even if he moved at speed of light for a year he would still feel that no time passed. just pointing out the bs in this novel <<less

The MC has an interesting history and OP powers.

But he's too arrogant. His dialogues reek of pretension. He's bossing all the characters around.

All these interesting developments that are supposed to happen now have no appeal because other characters are reduced into lackeys and nobodies.
