this is not a good read, purely because of the protagonist. This man is insultingly s*upid. Not just normal s*upid, not merely another dense protagonist, braindead s*upid. The dragon queen he attends, Luna, has a silver and red color scheme. The woman he meets with when he's not attending to the dragon queen is named Runa, and has silver hair and red eyes. He knows that Runa is at least rich. He knows dragons can turn into humans, and are as smart as humans. Runa and Luna not only sound the same, in japanese 'r' and 'l' are litterally pronounced the same. He is saying the same name. He has not put it together

Even worse is the world building. Imagine one singular kingdom having sole partnership with a race of living gods. Imagine this kingdom even houses the queen of the dragons. Imagine that to take care of this queen, you need to hire a dragon handler to help take care of her.

And they send in this s*upid motherf*cker. That the kingdom hasn't fallen is miraculous. <<less

Those who've read my other reviews know that I generally loathe s*upid protagonists. Even so, MC isn't as dumb as the highest-rated reviewer makes him sound -- he had his suspicions, did his due diligence, and wasn't terribly surprised when the truth was revealed. This is heads and shoulders above the level of brainfail enforced on the majority of female MCs in Japanese novels. The relationship between MC and FL is also respectful and consensual. This story is just fluff, but it's good fluff.

It's a cute story and easy/quick read. There are interesting parts but the yandere aspect was really toned down. There was definitely more potential in this book in terms of story but enough happened that you feel satisfied with the ending (while still being unsatisfied).

Finished reading this novel, for a short novel its not the best but quite good still, there's some topics that was not clearly explained along the story but I can still catch the reasons behind them.

(There might be some unnecessary problems but I also can tolerated it)

My main reason to like this was their love stories, mostly sugar, heartwarming one.

For you people who just want short novel filled with sugar and not much of complicated drama this and that while turning off your braincell and just want to be a happy reader, you might try this.

I will second Potatoteeth's opinion on this, please read their review as well. Don't fear the top review, MC does have a working brain relative to the average JP romcom protagonist. Like Myon's other stories, this one is just some fluff, okay to digest quickly if you're recharging. Nowhere near the amount of obsession/yandere from say, Two Sisters or Streamer, Myon held back with this one. Would recommend for an easy ride.

The protagonist well, he's weak. You can see from the tags. However, he's the kind of character that gets pushed around, only in here, the dragon is the only one "allowed" to do so, as she is obsessed with him.

The yandere part is meh. It just feels like obsession rather than yandere. I've read better yandere novels.

Well, 39 chapters is not much, you can read it in one sitting. It's not like the novel is bad, it's mediocre. A decent read if you ran out of novels to read.
