This is soo~ cute!

It's about a man who wins the lottery, and from his grandfather he learns that there are s*aves.
He decides to buy a s*ave, so he can give that s*ave a good life. That s*ave is Ruri, a 9 year old kid, and she is very shy.

This story is basically about them growing up, making friends, and leading a normal life. And I can say this with certainty, there is no Daughter x Father stuff in here, it's all a normal parent relationship.

Well, So far it's pretty flimsy tbh.

The story is very 'sh*t falls together', and doesn't dwell on any details- or pay too much attention to logic.

The whole 'I bought a girl' thing is pretty much a 'fulfillment of title' barebones thing- don't expect too much. It seems the author just wants to do scenarios for this, but couldn't be bothered with investing in anything really involved (risks, maintenance, consequences). If I were to criticize, I'd have a lot to say- but even for what it's supposed to be, I don't... more>> see there being anywhere as much 'cute' as people think.

Well, it's not bad, and it's light. Won't take you long to decide for yourself. Chaps 1-3 are particularly flimsy, so unless you immediately hate it, you can't really tell till 4. That said, it seems to be going for slow-paced 'slice of life', so even after there's not a lot to go on.

BTW, I just read c27, and I couldn't help thinking how this series lacks self awareness when the MC laments that 'the world is a dangerous place' in worry over Ruri. I mean, why would he think that? it's not like some people would abduct her and sell her for... Ooooh!

Anyway, this pointed focus AWAY from Ruri as a victim (not to mention her unbelievably bright and already healed personality considering 'god knows' what happened to her). we won't even get into the bizarrely convenient attitudes of the various family members. Couple that with the fact it's barely a plot wrinkle- as sloppy as he is he should be in jail already.

I don't see the point other than the catchy title, but whatever.

At it's heart his is just a glorified vehicle for 'weekly random cute stuff'.

Sweet!! Despite the suggestive title "I bought a girl", this is a really heartwarming story of a guy who won lottery and uses the money to buy a girl and help her become normal again. The chapters are short and easy to read, though I have yet to see a significant change in the girl yet. But that's something that requires time.

The title is misleading because it seems a r-18 novel, howerver it is about a man that give a s*ave child the chance to be a normal child again.

The main characters are the man, that won the lottery, and this young girl and the story is about their everyday life after he adopted her.

spoiler about the story (till chapter 8)

So this man won the lottery and asks to his grandfather what to do with money because he too won the lottery and was filfthy rich.

The granfather says to his niece that he should try to make somebody life happier, if he doesn’t have something he really wants to do and gives him an address where he can buy a s*ave.

This girl is choosen totally in a random way, and after signing some papers he brings her home.

He is still working as a teacher in a highschool and then he thinks is a good idea to make her “daughter” attend an elementary school since she is a 9 years old.

What I don’t like about the story is the idea of the s*ave child. The author could simply make an adopted child without bring the s*avery in the story, since it’s a bit silly how paperworks would be if it were all “legal”.

Another poor writing is about the fact he won the lottery and asks his granfather that also won the lottery.

Really? What are the chances?

Howerver when rating the novel I thought about the heartwarming feeling that tries to transmit to the reader, trying to not consider what made this story “less” believable.

However the writing is still not good as uchi no musume, so a 4 is good enough, in my opinion.

A lot of people have mixed views on this, I actually really enjoy it.

It’s about a guy who wins the lottery and has a dream about buying a girl s*ave (for... research). However, upon hearing the circumstances of the s*aves there, he decided to buy a little girl instead. The story then follows their day to day life as father and adopted daughter.

I should mention this is modern s*avery, so you can really connect with characters. You’re not as disconnected as in fantasy novels, so it really feels like... more>> you are that character, experiencing those things.

EDIT: When you see a 12-15 or 9-11. It means that chapters 12 through to 15 and 9 through to 11 were posted at the same time. <<less

Cute light hearted heartwarming story. Set in modern day Japan. A normal slice of life of a young single father and his adopted ex-s*ave girl. Doting father, cute and shy daughter. Supportive family members. Makes you want to cheer for in their happiness.

Well, well. What we have is a slice of life. It's really similar to Uchi no musume or Hello Work in a different setting: A guy that get a little girl and start taking care of her like a father.

Chapters are short, story progress fast, little action, no drama till now. Take it as a side novel when you want something calm and heart warming filled with cuteness.

Basically a fun slice of life story about how a guy who suddenly becomes rich bought a daughter.

It's a heartwarming story, so expect a lot of fluff, and very little drama.

Well with 1 chapter and the translator’s note, I can definitely say that this isn’t ecchi nor is it NSFW. Looking forward to more chapters and the cuteness that better follow. x’D

edit - *heart pierced* it's..... too.... cute <3
