I possessed an extra who didn’t even have a name in the novel.

Her features are black hair and purple eyes that means that she is cursed.

And I’m the lost daughter of the villain in the novel?!

***

I thought I was a passing by extra, but she was actually the lost daughter of the villainous Grand Duke.

“Erita, my beloved daughter.”

“My precious little sister. I’ll protect you.”

……are these the bloody villains I’ve seen?

My father and brother, who people said to be cruel, were too sweet to me.

But the villain has a death ending!

It was the first time I received love and warmth, and I decided to change the cruel ending of my friendly family since I possessed it 10 years earlier than the original.

Yeah, I will definitely change my family’s future……

“Erita, I love you.”

What’s wrong with the Male Lead?

It's cute if you like melodramas and teeth rotting sugary scenes. It's one of those where FL has comically unfortunate childhood where everybody is cruel in a truly cartoonish villainesque way and her life gets turned around when she finds her true family that dotes on her and practically worships the ground she walk on. Villain father and brother would let her step on them, servants go "hohoho how cute" whenever she eats food, enjoys enjoyable things or just exists in their proximity. So far, nothing special, just this little,... more>> cute girl being excessively doted upon by carbon copy characters whose only defining characteristic so far is how much they love the FL. There is little agenda beside the supposed death ending villain will get that nebulously looms in the future but doesn't really play much role so far. <<less

Pretty good so far.

Rita/ Erita was an orphan in her first life and reincarnated and believes herself to be one again until the Duke comes to her. Previously she tried to escape but was caught and was possibly planning on being a maid in the future once she got out but well that's not going to happen.

I also like even though the MC is there now with the family, they are still doing their own thing, namely trying to find out how she got to the orphanage in the first... more>> place and hunting those suckers down.

The Family dynamic is really cute so far and you can probably infer the guilt from losing Erita why this family became major Villains in the OG story.

Spoiler

I also really liked the part where she puts together her arrival into the novel world and what happened to OG Erita if she existed. Erita was never really mentioned but MC realises OG Erita caught an illness when she was a child, a year before the Duke came and it was through this MC came to the world. She also feels really guilty about taking her place and only wishes OG Erita knew she was loved and wishes her happy with her mother if she is gone for good.

[collapse]

It's still too early to tell what more the story can bring, ML is still a long shot away but I love the family dynamic with plot mixed in for flavour so far. <<less

This story had the generic fantasy plotline of MC saving the world from dark magic. Most of the characters were bland and two-dimensional. Though I wouldn't say that this was boring.

I recommended this story to those who wanted to read casually without too much thinking about the plot and to those who wanted to read an amazing load of sweetness. Especially, I found myself with aching teeth after reading the side stories.

Ooooff... the start is rough...

This is so awkward, the way the author keeps wording things like "this will be important later" or "she will think later it was too much" or stuff like that, only for the novel to never mention it again made me cringe.

Although it's fluffy and all the clichés are there, I found that there are much better stories out there with this same premise... I've being struggling for a week to read 15 chapters because everything is just so dull.

Later on when the plot starts to... more>> move on from her adapting to her "new life" and she starts actually doing things rather than just be the center of affection and attention, it becomes a bit more interesting.

but you really have to slog trough 15 chapters.

I'm starting to enjoy it, but the plot stalled quite a lot, kind of like the author didn't know how to tie in everything together and just decided to give up and advance 8 years because it was getting too boring.

Granted, after the time-skip, it's much better. <<less

So far it's... kinda boring. It has the same theme (doting villain fam) and offer nothing fresh so I'm hoping for interesting story plot or enjoyable writing style but... the author would rather focus on melodramatic and lovey dovey familial love which... too much, I think? The scenes were trying to be dramatic but it ended up bland. The main (interesting) point is how Erita trying to find out how her family died in the original novel and the journey is also... bland. The way she snatched two of the... more>> original heroine's people also time-skipped and written as flashbacks but at this point I as reader cannot care enough for them and prefer her journey instead. I'm still waiting her monologue foreshadow about a kind couple in her first year as an orphan but nothing so far. <<less

The cover got me to read this. Aside from that, I have no high expectations for this webnovel due to the low rating. If the flow had been better, I believe this would have received a higher rating. The story may be cliche, but the characters aren't bad and are quite likeable. Though a plot like this is very overused, there are a lot of scenarios that, though cliche, with the right flair would be really lovely (as I said earlier, the flow could be better). An example of that... more>> scenario would be Callion and Erita's garden encounter. Also, I wish characters were emphasized and unnecessary events were minimized. In each chapter, the author makes a lot of hanging closing statements, but then forgets about them in the later chapters. The translation is not that bad, but I think it could be better. There are chapters that I get confused with the conversations, and I have trouble picturing things in my head because it becomes a bit jumbled. I'd say if you just want to pass the time, this is an okay read. <<less
