It's cute but I feel like it's way too slow, especially since you get spoiled in the description. I am in chapter 40 and there is no sign of the og heroine and the ML feels like the creepy overpowering ceo who has their way with the MC because she is put in a hopeless situation where she can only rely on him. The interactions between the son and MC are cute though. The plot feels like it is going nowhere, especially with how promising the orginal story was.

Translation is great.

The descriptions of peoples feelings are endless. I have been doing a lot of paragraph skipping. Its almost as if the author wants to invent new language to describe every teany tiny nuance in the characters experience. You can sum up the emotional turmoil of the first 17 chapters as:

Actually, this is a 4.5 star for me.

I enjoyed reading this. The characters are great. Because each character is distinct from the others, the story is engaging. I absolutely enjoy the scene and how Cain fell in love with Yuria right away. I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

Slow narrative to the predetermined novel conflict that's foreshadowed, almost a day-to-day. It's mostly focused on the family slice of life on becoming family with a side of issues that comes with 'associating with the villain' from the plot. This is good for a leisure read for those that want something fluffy with a little tragedy to pull the heartstrings.
