In a melodramatic[1] novel, there is always that type of rich and beautiful female supporting character with a hot body. However, her fiancé is always snatched away by the delicate and pretty white lotus flower.[2]

It just so happens that Xia An transmigrated into this type of female supporting character, chasing all over the world for the scum. The system informs her that if she wants to avoid the tragic death ending, she has to resist the influence of the plot setting and reduce the amount of supporting female character’s bad luck value. Her current bad luck value is 999.

Xia An and the white lotus flower were attending a live variety show together. While they were talking, the white lotus flower suddenly fell to the ground.

This is for anyone who is craving for showbiz elements. I have read it to 74 chapters and from beginning to now it is extremely character centered and mainly MC centered. So much so that other characters are neglected, world building is neglected, even the feelings of Cold CEO are also neglected (and he still fell for MC who controlled him).

Some insane plot events solely to make MC shine, which at some point gets boring.

All the aspects are supposed to be carried along the story yet 70 plus chapters and no parents were introduced. They were just tools to justify some actions of MC.

Apart from that, if you are missing showbiz face slapping, this novel is very interesting and funny at lots of times, if you wont get bored from same old routes then you will enjoy it.

It was okay. It was mostly ridiculous. The antagonists were dumb and 2D which is what really brought down the web novel. I did actually like the premise, the ML & the FL.

The story is really cliche and plain. There are no ups and downs in the plot and everything's just a happy reading experience. To sum this up, I will have to copy a line from Thatbritishc's review which is "Been drowning in dog food but happily so"

There are aspects of this story I really enjoyed, but overall it was mostly braindead. I enjoyed watching the MC messing with the antagonists, but I didn't see why the ML would like her. The ML's behavior was really illogical the whole time. Also, the fact that the ML keeps catching her behaving out of character, but the cameras in the reality show somehow miss it every time seems extremely unlikely. That said, I'd watch a 20 minute micro-drama of this starring Zhang Ruo Nan - she'd make the MC... more>> loveable. <<less

The synopsis intrigued me because of the bad luck count of 999, so I became curious about how she would remove all of that and then start to earn good luck.

and then I got hooked when "her" NPC came lmao. It was so funny at the beginning because she has always thought of the ML as her tool. But then the ambiguous movements started and I just couldn't stop smiling and giggling when it comes to their interactions because there's no shyness between them and tbh the "netizens" reactions at... more>> the beginning when they were just being shipped to each other was freaking hilarious.

there was no shyness because the MC has always thought of the ML as "her" person lmao. And the ML was just intrigued and interested and tbh he has no choice because the MC can command him.

i read this for the interactions of the main couple, the antagonists are all just cannon fodders and tbh they're dumb but I like light reads and this just warmed my heart <<less

The plot of the novel is light and it is somewhat refreshing. The storyline mainly revolves around a romantic variety show called 24-Hour Love, where a couple is formed and they will be given couple missions to fulfil. The reason why I enjoy this novel is the chemistry between the ML and FL while doing this 24-Hour Love missions. The amount of dog food they stuff is so adorable.

As for the reason why the FL is a "green tea", the FL acts innocent in front of Li Jing Qing while... more>> she isn't and she only acts in such a way to maintain her persona of loving the original ML (Li Jing Qing). In a sense, she is manipulative because she acts in front of Li Jing Qing and she was just trying to reduce her bad luck value to zero.

To summarise, I will list the pros and cons of this novel.

Pros:

    • Light and fluffy novel
    • Tons of dog food
    • Doting ML
    • Unique setting of the plot revolving around a romantic variety show
    • Clever protagonist
    • System doesn't control or force the FL to do something nor does it have any punishment shown in other novels

      Xia An's parents know that our FL isn't their daughter as the original Xia An went into their dream to tell them about what happened to them and how she was going to reincarnate into another world. Later on, Xia An's parents told Xia An and was very thankful for Xia An. Xia An made an agreement with the System to let Xia An's parents meet the original Xia An. Hence, in a way, Xia An's parents treat our FL as a foster child. So there is not much pretending to be another person here.

Cons:

    • Quite a number of modern slang and bullet-screen messages
    • There was one part of the novel where the FL is liked by children and animals.

      There is a part where the couples had to take care of children and the children they look after really likes the FL. Well, that is because when the child the FL and ML are looking after in this mission was making a fuss, the FL made a bigger fuss that frightened that child. It caused the child to be more mature and was worried whether she would make a bigger fuss. With regards to the FL being well-liked by animal, there was a part where the panda send her a fly kiss. Honestly, to me, that is a bit on the fantasy side. But it is a few chapters so it was bearable for me. Plus, the dog food and the chemistry the FL and ML give out overpowers this short con for me.

    • The original FL and original ML will constantly appear in the novel since they participate in the same variety show as the FL.
    • The FL makes use of the ML as a tool or NPC. I guess, in her defence, she thought he knew about what her mission is or that he is a NPC; but in actual fact, he doesn't. They only talk about it when the FL finished or was almost done with eliminating her bad luck value.
    • The FL is not well-liked by the entertainment industry in the beginning. Some of their bullet-screen messages may sound brainless. However, in my opinion, it's justifiable. Because firstly, the original Xia An wasn't popular so no one would really support her. Secondly, the original FL of the original novel manages her image pretty well compared to the original Xia An.
I will recommend this novel to anyone that is looking for a light-hearted novel filled with tons of dog food. I won't recommend to anyone that is looking for something deep or intense or someone who wants to read a plot with detailed schemes. <<less

It's a cute fluffy funny novel. It's definitely not for people who expect extremely well built plot, well built characters etc,.... I mainly liked both ML and FL. FL is tooo cute for ML and he knows she's just using him for getting away from LJQ, but still falls for her wants to make their "pretend-relationship" real. Their interactions are veeeeeeeeeeeeery cute

Although the novel is cliche and extremely centred towards an OP FL who face slaps and everything she does is yelled cute and amazing by the netizens while the other characters are just background boards but...... I still loved it!!!!!

Because some of the actions are really cute and the I'm full by dog food! Aahhh!!! It's really sweet pet! And I love sweet pet!!!

Anyway 5 stars for the delicious dog food I ate that's all.

I didn't even know that I'm already at the epilogue wuwuwuwu. One word that best describes this story is: sweet. Like, it's really sweet. It's funny and full of fluff. I like the coquettishness and weirdness uniqueness of the FL. She's like a little fox full of mischief. I also like how the ML just went with every mischief that the FL wants to do. Their role playing during the variety show was also entertaining. As for the OF FL and ML, well, it's satisfying how the FL dealt with... more>> them.

The story mainly focuses on the romance between the FL and ML and there's not much details about their lives. There's none for the FL's past life, as for the ML, it's just mentioned how his parents were married due to business and he's not close to either of them. I expected something like an obnoxious mother in law but I'm happy that there's none.

Lastly, although I only MTLed this in order to finish it, it didn't hinder me from enjoying it. I can't even remember how many times I smiled like an aunty from time to time because of this lol.

Overall, translation quality aside and just based from how it entertained me, it's a 9/10! <<less

It's the kind of story where you dont question things too much, it was highly comedic and just straight out sweet fluff.

I didn't find the extras so idk what was covered there but this is a read I don't regret reading and also love. It's very entertaining!!! A nice binge read for sure.

i love how proactive the MC is and just how sweet she is.

I’ve avoided reading this cause of the green tea aspect cuz I can get annoyed when MC's act super naive etc just to get back with... more>> an ML who doesn't deserve them but NOT HER! Loved the couple and how she doesn't choose to take the route where she'd have to get back together with OGML but replacing heroin.

There definitely is some questionable things in the plot but they didn't bother me! I just enjoyed laughing along and being fed dog-food. <<less

It’s easy enough to MTL. It’s great fluffy story with some hilarious plots. It would have been great to get more context on the ML or FL. It’s not a very deep novel and there are a few plot holes but all in all very entertaining still.

Usually I would read things with bad plot to turn off my brain and just read but this really did it and I couldn't continue reading. The antagonists are badly written. For example, one of the antagonists is wtv his name is, Jiang smt or another. He's been constantly hit on by this girl that has also been openly rude and antagonistic to another girl who, to his knowledge, hasn't done anything wrong. He doesn't like her, yet she keeps pursuing him and making everything a big fuss. So of... more>> course he's not gonna like her and he'll want to blame her when shes standing and another girl looks to have fallen WHILE she has a history of being rude to others, especially previously mentioned girl. Regardless, it wasn't complete tr*sh (it kinda was tho lmao) and it's meh if you can turn your brain off while reading. <<less

Just finished the novel and I’m so full! Been drowning in dog food but happily so ❤️

Typical Mary su plot but manages to grip your attention all through the novel, never a dull moment at all!

MC is honestly too likely and everyone just grows to love her which I admit can be a bit extra sometimes but I feel like she deffo deserves it😌 ML loves MC so much and their interactions made me smile during the whole novel❤️

Lastly, if your looking for a straight fluff novel where you don’t... more>> really need to think too much but sit there and enjoy them this is deffo recommended <<less
