Very enjoyable read. It starts simple but it begins turn more interesting. It's true this is a power fantasy type but it is nevertheless fun to read. Even as OP as thr protaginist is, he does encounter monsters that give him trouble too.

It's simple. Light reading material for me, but I can't help to wait for the next chapter.

This novel can be described as a light one. At first the novel seems interesting, then when he started going to another country it started to be boring and a bland, almost seems like a filler chapter to make him stronger, but then after a meeting with another power user with him, it started to be interesting again and all those grinding and saved people will come again to support him.

Despite the story having good potential, the author decided to throw everything out the window.

MC is portrayed to be the hero type who wants to help others. But so far I find his help superficial.

Spoiler

MC obtained an ungodly amount of job medals which he could raise an army or get an elite force, but he only uses them for himself. All while claiming he wants to help out people.

So far the story is just about, max out xxx, change to another job, kill boss when I'm strong enough, and (abandon survivors) to find next boss.

He kills monsters and do occasional healing. That's it. He did nothing to improve other's life. When people get killed around him, he don't use his full capabilities just cause "it don't feel right using magic in a land of martial artists", yet he does use time stop.

The prologue is long, and in the early arcs the protagonist steamrolls everything by himself. As he goes along he meets stronger and stronger enemies and even some allies he can rely on. The writing gets better as the story goes along, too. So if you like the concept (summary) of the story, don't mind the start too much and give it a chance. If you don't like watching him pull gacha over and over again, just read the first and last chapters of the prologue.

This honestly reminds me of... more>> the super hero comics I used to read when I was little - the protagonist gains extraordinary power and uses it to help people because he's the only one who can, and it's the right thing to do. In fact, when other people with power show up, he's more than willing to step back and let them handle things. His motivation is just being a good person... and that's an extremely refreshing change of pace from the vast majority of main characters in recent years.

Laser focus on the main story with no romance or daily life elements means that once you get past the prologue it has a very fast pace and no real diversions. Each arc is a decent size and a good stopping point at the end, so you can read it one arc at a time if you want to. If I have any complaints, the prologue doesn't need to be that long - you could just go up to deciding to put all your money into gacha and summarize the results - and I'd like the pace to be a bit slower by adding something - a romance, a sidekick, a pet outside of combat, side stories about random average people adjusting to the new world - anything to slow down the plot and develop the characters and world more along the way. As is, if you're in the mood for saving the world, it's definitely worth reading. <<less

I enjoyed it was slightly rushed in some parts but overall a fun engaging read. The only upsetting part is its weak end. Either way would totally recommend a read. It has a light-hearted feel and is overall decently paced.

Yes is a slow start and repetitive plus this must ridiculous status window I have ever encounter hahaha, however give it a try is good, relatively short and to the point no unnecessary detours, it's clean and entertaining, no overzealous patriotism just a normal reaction of pride for a comrade.

It is entertaining, I don't normally like the "goody two shoes" MC's but I like this guy he was honorable and good but not conceit, the fight scenes are good, the characters are nice and all ages from all over,... more>> yes the MC is OP but there is a reason and is not a d*ck about it. All in all I really had a good time listening (yes I did not read it because I'm a mom and student and also a elderly caretaker so I'm busy but I can always listen) I will recommend it. <<less

This is such a decent and straightforward novel that I think it deserves a good 4/5. You get exactly what it says it is, it's just the right length for a couple of days of light entertainment, and no part in it feels forced or boring or cringe. For sure it's not a masterpiece but it does its job and it does it well!

It was a really good novel. At the start it seems that the world building and character development are bad but it's just a facade that hide a great story.

I can't deny that the story isn't that original but the job is done and I had a truly great time reading it.

Its above average in general. This is one of those novels that start off kinda goofy and happy until it starts getting serious in the middle until the near end with its happy ending. I really like those kind of novels but this one was decent with it.

There's no harem or love interest which is good yaknow. Theres alot of sheep mentality going on with the public/ citizens which does get infuriating but those scenes are usually like 2 paragraphs and thats about it. Mmm a small note I have... more>> is that the author can either write really good fighting scenes or just somewhat make it bland. <<less

I binge read the whole story and personally I loved it. There are times when I wanted to put it down because it got a little boring but fight after it got really good again. I'm looking forward to the next arc that's going to be primarily an isekai.

Slow start, but after the story gets going its quite fun, even if author-kun is a madlad who writes too many numbers. It's not a perfect story, but its fun, and the translation is really well done. Ending is really satisfying too.

This is probably one of the shortest novels I've ever read, but in a fulfilling type of way. There were many questions that needed to be answered, but if you put aside logic for just one second, then you'll be able to enjoy what this story had to offer. The Gacha system is confusing (and implausible) at first, but all will be explained at the end of the novel. One thing I don't get, however, is ... more>>

How the hell did the alchemist manage to turn "infinite mana" into a skill orb for the MC? It is a skill that even the Demon king didn't posses, and there isn't an explanation as to where that power is being drawn from. If it were something like calling upon the mana of the Earth itself it would make sense, but nooooooo... The MC just gets infinite mana from seemingly nowhere.

Other than this, the author sets up the novel to possibly have a sequel, and the ending doesn't really leave you feeling empty inside. I truly enjoyed this one (and all 6 hours it took me to read it), and will be giving it a 5/5 <<less

A short no nonsense story, that definitely embraces the absurdity of the entire premise.

The character comes off as unfeeling in a lot of cases though.

romance is teased but non exists. In the end author makes it seem like this whole novel was not a solo one man show ... more>>

by defeating the demon king saying “you are alone, I am not” and using some dumb skills he learnt from other people.

we all know that’s bs and he can do it all alone lol

There are a lot of plot holes though, like how tf did
Spoiler

the razas guy even manage to create such overpowered skills and what is the dimensional maze.

This leaves a plenty of room for sequels. The ending was decent but it’s open ended, literally ends with a line that makes you think there are more chapters.

I doubt there will be any continuation though, seeing of the authors style looks like he’s an impatient dude. This novel could have been easily doubled in size if he wanted to.

all in all, a decent read for anyone binge reading. It’s super short, especially the chapters in the beginning.

also kudos to the TL Jiro on inoveltranslations who tirelessly translated this. Great job dude! <<less

I would give this one a 4.5/5 if I could do half stars. It's a good story but does have some small issues. First is the MC who really isn't badly written like some are, but will at times make decisions that make no sense just to push the plot along. Second is the stat dumps every 5 or 10 chapters. We get that his skills are growing, but the way they are done just creates an annoying wall of text that doesn't add much of anything at all. Last... more>> but not least the plot development is really slow in places. It took nearly 130 chapters to introduce even a hint of who the real bad guys are while filling 20-30 chapters with political nonsense and other fluff in the meantime. It's still entertaining but makes the development really inconsistent. All of them are small issues that if you can just ignore or skip over leaves a very good read. <<less

MC is a bit dumb, he even says so himself so there aren't any creative abilities or things you've never seen before in this novel. Gatcha part was a bit funny, after that it's a bit boring. You may like mc's lack of common sense or you may hate it.

I'd say the worse part is that no one in this novel really has any motivations or goals (as far as c125 or almost the end). MC just stomps along doing 'what's right', people fight to survive, governments try to... more>> control or remove unknown elements, monsters just invade. Nothing is pushing the narrative at all.

If you like an op character and that's all you need, then go right ahead. If not, don't waste ur time on this one. <<less
