It's a fun novel, goes strong until the 90s and once MC mentality breaks, it breaks. I don't understand why the author would introduce 'love' to such a nice character and have them fall apart unrecognizably.

She halfway pulled herself together after the 'you cannot return' break down, but once she loves ML and confesses her affliction with the evil god in a panicked crumbly meltdown fashion... I can't recognize the MC I was interested in, maybe I have to read more to see her calm down but she's becoming more rash/illogical as the panic sets in... and as I'm writing this I'm thinking "well yeah, she's in panic mode so of course she's rash" but... how can I explain it.

She changed from a charismatic-shameless-two-faced-employee to a sobbing-dependant-childish-mass-mu*derer...

Author wrote about her preventing ML from killing his siblings since MC hopes he doesn't take on that mental burden and fall to madness... Then later MC proposes improving ML's reputation by shifting the current 'dark magic' unease onto the elves and exterminating them, calling it 'defeating devils' and parading around as Heros of the church... If you read the novel, at that time the elves only helped MC, and were helped by MC, a very kind mutual relationship. Yet she proposed killing their entire village, labeling them as 'devils', and using the slaughter to promote ML. What the actual f*ck.
