A reverse world where only fragile men exist.

In that world, I became an “awkward male hero.”

But why does everyone get so flustered when they see me?

Hostages, civilians, even villains — they all seem more worried about me than anything else…

This might be the most insultingly dumb novel I've ever read. I'm genuinely questioning the authors mental facilties here. who in their right mind writes something this... s*upid.

Here's what I'm talking about:

Spoiler

So, the premise is that men are weak, the MC is normal, and everyone is shocked at this or so. Pretty standard for the reverse role genre. Everything looks fine too...

until chapter 5. From there everything is just idiotic. Like real braindead stuff.

Take men in this world. They are infants. no, really. they can only eat food that babies like. Vegetables? nope, thats a womans food. and god forbid a man eat something spicy, he'll piss himself and cry. they can't go interact with strangers in anyway, or they will piss themselves and cry. they have to be taken care of in all things in life, or, you guessed it, they will piss themselves and cry. I'm not joking about this either, that's actually how men in this novel are.

and then there are the women. for starters, they treat every man like an infant. which makes sense, they are infants. But they also act like h**ny tweens all the time around guys. Like women in this novel actually have heart attacks and nervous breakdowns from talking to men. and this applies to everyone.

And going back to that infant bit, they way women speak to men is annoying as f*ck. women speaking to women? normal dialogue, standard even. women speaking to men? nervous chittering, constant doubt of words and backtracking to proper child friendly language.

Finally, we have the MC. he's ok. wants to be a hero, thinks he has it, like a puppy. He's also someone with the "mindset of our world", so he's waaaay different from the infants of all other men. He's the best character in the story, for the sole reason that he's the only idiot that isn't completely s*upid.

[collapse]

I'd like to make something clear for prospective readers: this isn't an action story. this is a "comedy". the "comedy" supposedly comes from the MC being different from other men and the reactions of women. there is no action, in spite of the hero theme.

I'll say this right now, this is just bad. there is no redeeming qualities to this. it had potential in the first 4 chapters, but after that when the author more clearly defines the world building it becomes apprent how actually moronic this one is.

Maybe I'm writing this too early. maybe the author will back track on what they had started in the first few chapters. I don't think they will. I think they will continue with this tr*sh until the end.

don't read it. don't waste your time here.

1 star, simpky because I cannae go lower. <<less
