Do not listen to user Goldenxman33!

This is not only a good novel but even the accompanying manhwa is good too. That user must not be able to read between the lines so let me explain (as spoiler free as possible) !

1. The father was not by the MCs side during those few years not because he had ill intent but because he feared that showing that he cared for her would make her a target for assassins. Now, I'm not excusing his absence but it makes sense considering he's the leader of the Demon Sect.

2. He had no idea that her mother was abusing the MC

3. He did not pick up the ML with the intention of taking away the MC's status in the house

4. Yes, the MC does have a slow growth process but that's just part of the plot? This is an isekai story and so I can only assume that the fact that her soul is not originally from that world means that she'll have some kind of special powers or ability and that's why her growth is slow (this isn't a spoiler just my assumption).

Basically: the reviews for this novel are lackluster at best and you'd do better to read the manhwa as of right now since it's much farther along. I'll change this part once this is no longer the case, but until then please read the manhwa.

Now onto my actual review: This story is good so far. I suggest trying not to apply certain lengths of logic to this story though. The MC was almost a full grown adult before she died (of not actually an adult) and yet she acts just like a child. Her thoughts might be a bit mature but her actions aren't.

That being said, she's not an annoying MC so far. Smart, yet reasonably so given her age. Cute and adorable too. Her relationship with her father is an adorable one and you can tell they both love each other very much. You can also tell that her father hasn't really had many loving relationships because at certain points he questions why he's reacting in such a way. Her relationship with the Sect elders is both amusing and adorable. They can't help but be so fond of her. Her relationship with the ML is cute too because he, as well, can't help but be fond of her.

tl;dr: This story isn't as bad as what the others are saying but I'd definitely suggest reading the manhwa for right now since it's farther along. The MC is cute and sweet but also incredibly intelligent. The other characters can't help but be fond of her but it isn't in some annoying cliche way (so far).

Another negligent father, he let his daughter suffer torture for 4 years (as a baby) , came by the neck of the time before she died and tadaaaa he became the father of the year.

As stated by the MC there was alot of suspicions elements that anyone should notice but the father ignored all of them :

1. The mother is super evil (quite obvious, that is why he refuse to even stay in the same house as her) .

2. All the servants in the house was change overnight to... more>> one allied with the evil mother.

3. The father pick up a child from the street and let him become he family hair (lied to everyone saying that he is his illegitimate child) making the MC lose all her stats in the house.

4. The MC has a slow growth despite all the elixirs he gift her (because they were stolen and the power gained from them used to torture the MC even more) .

A hate the father guts, halfheartedly actions are worse than malice. <<less

5 stars because first of, it's actually good (I'm from a manhwa reader so Ik the future).

People dropped it way to fast to judge it properly and the rating is too low for its worth. And it differs from other transmigration story because we actually get glimpse of mc's past life. Like it's very weird how the MCs acts as if their past life didn't have any weight whatsoever and quickly changes to "New life, new me, " kind of scenario

This is very wholesome and good. Well at first it won't be but as chapters go on it will be better. The people who reviewed this as a 3 star or lower, I can understand why you did it but trust me, your reviews are only the tip of the iceberg. Purely 5/5, no strings attached. Also the manwha is uploaded and they upload the story faster, so better read it

If you wait for it and give it time, this will grow into a wonderful series

Though it's good. This story definitely has flaws. Neglience from both parents while one of them abused the MC, and only after the father is told about the abuse that he started to take a move. He never visited the MC after naming her, and "trust" his wife to take care of her, not knowing what's been happening behind the doors.

Other than that, the story plot is not so bad. We get to see father-daughter bonding and some grandpas-grandchild bonding as well.

For me it's a little between meh and good.... more>> It's tolarable, but it depends on your taste. <<less

It's too short for me to make a final conclusion for this story but I hated the mother she is downright abusive to the baby MC. The father... Is negligent so far. The only characters I like is the the nanny and the MC. She's strong and seems to care about the MC very much.

Came here from the manhwa and yes this story is fun and I enjoyed it.

In the beginning there are misunderstandings and flaws but the story grows better over time so do give it a try. The manhwa art is also pretty so that's a plus
