Now then,

This novel is very interesting compared to the multitude of novels that I have read so far, Think of it as a chinese spin on a japanese harem MC, But unlike your oridinairy Dumb sh*t isekai MC, You have someone with balls that actually kills people. Also there is a lot of interesting things about this MC, For one he is extremely devoted to his Goddess. The other thing is that he is also extremely dense... well its not really about denseness but since his church is extremely... more>> poor and his mentor priest is keeping his extreme talents hidden, you can imagine why the MC has such a twisted world View. But wait, There's More! if you get past the comedic elements, this is actually a very serious story about the gods.

Our MC is actually an Angel, or at least a reincarnation of one of the strongest angels that used to exist, now the reason I said it was a chinese spin on a japanese harem MC is because in order to use his angel form, he needs someone from each race to sorta merge with him, while this doesnt sound too bad, when you factor in that women from each race somehow find their way to him and a merge with diffrent girls give him diffrent forms, you can understand my meaning. Also the MC doesnt know that he is an angel or what his god plans to do with him, His priest mentor was ordered by his god to find him and to train him, as well as to keep him a secret from the others. that's the reason fro his distorted world views and why he considers himself weak.

Woah. Not what I expected. It's nice to have aggressive protagonists but this reincarnated once and resurrected once priest is extremely timid. Not to mention the presence of an extremely rare trait, piety. Wow. While still facing inner turmoil from his unscrupulous thoughts, he maintains his life of poverty and humble servitude. Honestly, I've never read anything like this before and my interest is piqued. Although the chapter count isn't large yet, the story is enough to have me addicted (for now and hopefully in the future). Sadly, like many... more>> other novels on this site, this particular novel is being held back by its translation quality, albeit, very slightly. The translator chooses to separate multiple paragraphs of dialogue into choppy sentences or phrases (read on the site to understand what I mean) and also has an issue with the use of pronouns for characters (using "he" to describe a female character and in the next sentence using "she" to describe the same character). The latter issue is usually seen in cases of mtl, which I really hope this is not... In any case, this doesn't make the story unbearable, but this is definitely detrimental to a reader's experience.

Summary: Great potential, interesting character (for now), and 5 stars to support the translation, which could use some minor adjustments, but is otherwise decent. <<less

I got interested with the description of this novel so I decided to try it.

It's really interesting but it's really hard to read. Some lines doesn't make sense and I had to stop to reading so I can formulate in my head on what the hell does it mean which is really a turn off for me.

Lots of mistake on pronouns too made me really do a double take to confirm which is which.

I'll write a short review just to support the translation of the novel.

Story: Very intruiging

MC: Devoted dumbass/genius (think of him as a devoted believer of the goddess, albeit very warped and kills in her name. It might not sound strange, but do understand that she's the goddess of crop harvest and so on and not death).

I'mma keep this short. This novel is undoubtedly a hidden gem. Imagine those japanese novels, that you had so many expectations for, but fell short in the end due to ret*rded characters (the MC included). Now picture this with an even more ret*rded MC (but, in a good way) and the story also done right. Then you'd have this novel in a nutshell. The only thing bad is the horrendous translation, which at some times is barely readable. I think they are in desperate needs of an editor or a proof-reader.

I'll give it 5 stars in hopes of increasing the reader base and eventually the translation quality too. <<less

the story is decent. MC is a typical oblivious OP/affection type. The translation is however, quite horrible. Pronounce “he” for everyone, even a girl, for example. The translation is readable but it is not an enjoyable experience. Desperately needed an editor or a translator. The current translation quality is the same as google translate or might be worse if they translated word by word.

It starts off fine and is pretty funny but around chapter 190 it turns into one of those stories where everything revolves around the threat that is going to consume the world, before that it was kinda slice of life which was more fun to read.
