Honestly, this is my kind of novel but I can't make myself give it more than three stars. To begin with i've read better premisses than this one but though 'I am a Big villain' isn't bad, the thing that makes me shy away to give it four stars is the 'patriotism' of the author.

Though at first isn't that obvious, the "Seeking to survive in a deserted island" arc makes me feel so uncomfortable in multiple levels.

In this arc Yan Chu mission is to not only survive but also save the other contestants in interstellar setting. It just happens that out of all the contestants three of them are from the "Western Federation" and none of them seem to be useful in anything. Obviously there's always a character called Linda who's a beauty and whose only job is to 'seduce' people because she doesn't have anything to contribute to... well anything.

The excerpt that rubbed me in the wrong way.

It seems that the brothers and sisters Gu Xihe and Gu Xixi contacted Yan Chu uncharacteristically yesterday, which made these three players from the Western Federation also feel a sense of crisis. They said it was because they were worried about the danger in the forest, but in fact they still wanted to unite with them in the competition. China is more dominant.

I don't know what's wrong with chinese authors, this one in special seems to believe all foreigners are gorgeous 'Linda's' who have nothing but water in their brains or David's who are arrogant and ignorant, and that every single westerner has the same level of chauvinistic devotion to their country as he/she herself has for China. Does he/she realise that the west have many countries? Like they are using the stereotypes and prejudice they have for the american people to portray every single character that happens to be a foreigner.

I still can't get over the fact the author made one of the characters in one the arcs utter this words, after they discovered Yan Chu was going to a foreign country:

Like? I'm speecheless. Though to be fair, the character that said this was supposedly a village grandma, but the Desert Island arc made me reconsider that this words were really out of the authors believe rather than just a way to show her character's personality.

To be honest, I'm a woman of color and if the prejudice is this bad for the white folk in this story, I'm very concerned to read further and find out what this author thinks of black people. <<less

There's only 2 chapters translated at the time of my review, but there's already 1 star votes. Don't judge the book too early because this novel is really good.

As per the title and summary, the MC is a person who died and he shuttled across different worlds where each body he resides in is a scum villain. Unfaithful, ungrateful, slag men. His task is to correct their wrong doing, turn their fate around and avoid their downfall. Story is very fluffy and there's no drama or angst. I love the... more>> stories because our MC doesn't do his task half-assed, he made sure to make his wife/gf in each world happy and loved.

This novel is also readable by MTL. Read it and give it a chance :) <<less

It's just a mediocre romance novel dressed as a QT worldhopping one. There r a number of 5star reviews, which I feel r misleading. So, let me give my unbiased review of the 1st arc (which is basically what decides if u will continue reading).

1. TRANSLATION QUALITY: 1Star

Just "understandable" & lacks quality since its MTL. (Even the Translator has clearly said its MTL+some of his comprehension).

Vague story. It's like a draft of the story was made, missing all the drama, action etc and immediately published. The MC doesn't do much for the plot progression but things just work out. If you expect any plot, you will b left disappointed. It's just wasted potential.

Also, Romance? What romance? It's basically being ok with anyone as long as they r good ppl.

The 1st arc romance is "girl liked boy cuz of his face/superficial attributes. MC transmigrates as the boy & decides the girls character seems good since she managed a good life in the original plot where she was abandoned & preggers by him (original body). One of the tasks is 2 ensure her happiness so when Girl randomly confesses to him, MC immediately proposes marriage/engagement. Duh, he continues to be with her 4 a lifetime." The End.

Feeling warm n fuzzy yet? Me neither. You're better off reading anything else.

CHARACTERS: 2 Stars (maybe.)

The only reason I'm giving it an overall rating of 2 star instead of 1, is that I hope the other arcs are better and that the 1st arc seems worse than it is cuz of MTL. <<less

I think this one is good. Event though that you cant really find a big problem in here, but I enjoy to wasted my time to read this on for my free time. MC take the villain's position to make happy ending for everyone.

If you dislike a heavy story, you can try to read this one

I always have a soft spot for male protagonist hopping on worlds and throwing love to different women everytime. This particular novel is very good, because they are not always concerned about an FL, because in a lot of world he never get married.

I love worlds where he want to correct family relationships as author could make them realistic and full of suffering. Money is absolutely important and author show how crushing is it for working class politeriat to live honorably when the lack of money hammer them until how... more>> the original villains blacken. I sometimes cried due to the grievence the originals received.

There are still some boring world with usual face slappings and MC is too op sometimes. I love the system digging pits but the system never help so it doesn't interfere with MC. This world hopping novel is pretty good so try it, the mtl is quite readable if you try. <<less

Very good. I love the MC.

Pragmatic, quick, fast and kind. He does his very best to fulfill the wishes of the people he transmigrates to.

All the characters in each arc feel real, their pain, sorrows feel real. Most transmigration stories have characters feel flat.

Not this one.

This is such a big gem, I'm proud to have found it. The novel is very good, with no cliche plots which make the ML a boring loop.

What I like more about this novel it's comedy? Yea, for myself it was comedy, with papapapa slaps. Don't get me wrong because you will see that ML isn't that type to 1000% revenge, just justice, or justice by himself, you will get it after reading some arcs, and the growth of the protagonist is there too.

P.S. 1: The author has a good... more>> imagination, which I likyyyy

P.S. 2: There are no bed scenes, from the chapters I read. YEEEAAAAY :D

P.S. 3: I started to read from MTL, chapter 57, and it's not that bad, at least not he/she confusion yet, just the POVS, confusion and some words which are bearable (blame me for reading this good novel so early,... xD TAT, my advice: I recommend it but I recommend it much more if you will wait with patience for the novel to be translated fully, meaning you will eat a 100% melon, not like me 30% melon and maybe 70% melon seeds)

P.S. 4: I GIVE UP ON MTL, it becomes he/she but its... sad that it confuses me a lot, although I understood 45% from it it's annoying or not healthy to read like this, I would RATHER WAIT FOR 10 (0, edit;c) MONTHS to read the novel fully translated. (chapter 56)

Honestly, I thought that the MC would be mainly tasked with slag roles but boy was I wrong.

The first 4 arcs are kind of genric and predictable. But I read it any ways cause guilty pleasure.

But the 5th arc onwards! Everything changes! All the worlds have a unique element.

It is no longer about just a slag man. It is no longer totally predictable. I mean, I never thought such a world setting could exist. Especially the 5th arc. There is a unique dissonance in it which is caused by the... more>> reversal of gender stereotypes.

The system is not solely dedicated to MC. It is a lot like a celeberity manager. They have several celebrities under them and they are meant to manage them and make sure they perform well. This was another unique setting which I liked.

Ungodly cheats are not easily given to the MC. They are not ridiculously expensive or cheap.

Honestly, the translation has not caught up to the actual unique point of the novel. MTL is easy to understand and the raws are complete. (Bless the author!)

I would have liked to see more interaction between all the hosts managed by the system but we didn't get that which is a shame.

I would have also liked to read more about system's romance with 001 but we don't get that either.

The ending is open ended so well... it leaves a weird taste. Cause you want more but at the same time it makes sense to end it here. This end was also possible because of the origin of MC which held no attachments.

I say, this is a unique QT which is totally worth MTLing.

I will just cut one star off because author, like most chinese authors, is extremely patriotic, to the point where no real character is given to anyone except those who are chinese. I hope they can work on that and view everyone fairly.

Translator-sama please quickly give us more chapters so that I can enjoy both the quality of the plot and words!! UwU <<less

Read up to c68 and then MTLed the rest, it's so good!!!!! Very easy MTL too. I'd also definitely reread this story one day.

Honestly I don't like many male protag BG QTs because I find a lot of the time he entirely revolves around pampering some woman that, other than being lucky, is super mediocre?? And that's the entire story. Here, although it was the case in the first few arcs, it rapidly got way better. Ngl I skipped the second arc because of this and almost quit the story... more>> (and the 18th arc, but I'm not even sure if that's actually as shallow as my first impression), but I'm sooo glad I gave it a chance because it gets so good.

The plots are all quite interesting and fun. Many of them also revolve around family drama or human relationships, like redoing someone elses' life to make another party apologize or something. I also cried in a few arcs, not necessarily because the ending is tragic but the topics they cover are deep.

I will say MC is quite OP, but he doesn't rush any developments and it feels like his OPness is only an accessory in most cases, rather than relying on it for everything.

I wish he opened a restaurant in an arc though (steamed bun stand & lo mei doesn't count) and actually worked hard to popularize it. It feels like a waste that he doesn't, even though this skill did help him in other ways many times. But I feel sorry to his skill because he didn't!

Also, for romance, it's not one FL the whole time. Honestly I like this because rather than forcing some FL that somehow follows you through all these worlds, in each world MC is wholeheartedly devoted to each partner before his emotions are mostly stripped away at the end.

Btw MTL is super easy!! And the story is so long, the chapters are long and there's 28 arcs, so a suuuper satisfying binge. Highly recommend! <<less

Highly recommend this novel. If you are looking straight romance world hopping novel with male protagonist, then this is for you. All arcs are interesting, sweet, heartwarming and so so adorable??. I really like this MC.

This QT novel has 28 arcs. In each arc the ML makes one woman happy. I cannot imagine a virg*n man who truly loved 28 different women in 28 different lifetimes just because he was ordered by some system, so I do not believe the ML and his behavior in each story feels fake, sketchy. More like an outline for a good story than a good story.

Still, I understand people who rate this garbage high and feel that this novel is a gem. The author truly has a great imagination and writes rather well in places. Too bad the translation is so poorly edited that it kills all pleasure from reading the novel. It is very weirdly translated. <<less

Alright, I'm 10 chapters in and I love this, but imma have to keep it short for now because I'm only 10 in. Overall it's heartwarming and is a very sweet story, but I have one problem. They don't do a good job writing it, the system is very confusing to learn about, and I have a hard time understanding it, they seem to be sapient and can think but that's all I really know, he also may have multiple systems, but that is also unknown because of how god... more>> awful they were at explaining it. He is also 10, 000 years old which is said in the second chapter and hasn't been mentioned since. I would love it if someone could explain the world better.

Currently, I have finished the first set of chapters, it was my preferred end. He has the choice of 100 points to stay in his current life until he dies, which is good because I had mistakenly believed that when it was over the previous body's owner would come back and he would get NTR'd, but no it was wholesome.

Alright It seems he has multiple systems, like one where he must make someone fall in love and different one in which he must get revenge. Seems cool, some sort of variation in a system world. <<less

The translation, its kinda ankward but the story mades up for it completely for me and still way better than mtling. The single arcs can stand on their own as stories worth reading, I f*cking cried in the Big Brother arc and hated hated so much the revenge targets they where too true to life, the storyline in that one caught me off guard, very original.

The ML wasn't OP from the start. He steadily acquires skills as he hops through different worlds. His development was more on his skill-building rather than growth in personality. Initially centered on rectifying the original body's wrongdoings, the narrative gradually shifts, occasionally presenting the original body as the victim. Romance takes a minor role. This story prioritizes problem-solving and moral lessons at each world's conclusion.

The storytelling maintains a consistent pace and style. However, there are worlds with less engaging premises which led to... more>> me skipping those worlds. Morober, the items obtained from the system mall simplifies the planning aspect, and removes the complexity that should've existed in the storyline. Though lacking in emotional resonance, the incorporation of cultural, political, and societal themes throughout the narrative adds depth to the overall story.

First review from Sept 2021: There's so many 5 stars that I am reluctant to leave a 3-star rating. I did not enjoy this QT as much as other QTs with a male protagonist. I think it's just because of my personal preference. It would be unfair to lower the average rating because of this.

There are arcs that are good, and there are arcs that I just skipped entirely. I'll resume reading once other chapters are translated. <<less

I really enjoyed the novel so far, I haven't read anything similar so it was a really fun read. The only problems I have is the slow translation speed... I know I know I'm being a bastard for wanting too much and that the first few chapters were pretty roughly translated which almost made me drop it, but after I hardened myself and got through few chapters it seemed to get better. There were also some confusing parts here and there, but I think the translator wrote on the novels... more>> site that he/she uses mtl to translate and then edits it to make it more readable, considering this the translation quality is pretty good. Not as good as non mtl, but leagues above pure mtls.

I'd recommend trying it out if you can handle above mtl, but below non mtl translations. I almost dropped it myself, but luckily I pushed through, was not dissapointed. <<less

this is good.

in the early chapter of story it tell how the MC resolve the problem, how lovey-dovey are they. In the latter chapter moat od the time only tell how the MC resolve the problem and less lovey-dovey. And this is just me, at first I am not interested too read because only 355 chapter and at early chapter it feel so fast (too little character count) but latter 100++ 1 chapter is so long like 2-3chapter of early chapter.

This is a great QT novel

the MC is just too cute, too good, too dreamy...

You'll love this novel if you're looking for a MC that does not treat the original owners' wishes as inconsequential and is seriously immersed in every world.

unfortunately I can't read anymore as the MTL is really terrible at this point and I seriously don't get what was written but I dearly hope that the translator can continue on this work and complete this novel...

Its never really clarified how the various systems function and their relationship with each other. Also, the relationship between the host and 007 is there for mostly comedic effect.

Outside of the scenarios, the author does not elaborate much upon the reincarnation space, and there isnt a concrete ocerarching plot outside of the reincarnations.

Overall, a nice casual read. Just dont expect too much deep plot as the arcs are episodic and have little to do with each other. <<less
