The protagonist of this is very well written, he is a robot and very much feels as if he is. Update, I love the ML mainly because he is the type of person that puts the Mc's decisions and wants first even when they conflict with his own except when its about the Mc's safety. The first and second arc so far have been interesting and unique in that up to the point I am currently at in the story no-one in the named cast has died. If I had to say one slightly annoying thing about this book though it would be the amount of time spent detailing the thoughts of random one off characters who fall in love with the MC. <<less

It's not a bad novel.

Great MC, great ML, adequately developed background actors, and some nice humour.

If you read one or two copies then everything's fine, but if you read more in one go... it gets very repetitive and annoying.

Every instance goes the same.
Players either think MC is an NPC or that he's super weak, of course, at the end MC turns out to be the MVP and everyone is in awe.
All characters marvel about MC's good looks, the writer wastes a lot of time on describing him over and over again, and whenever his mask breaks, on describing him in even greater detail and how everyone who sees him is blinded by his beauty.

These two point repeat in every copy, the last even several times in one single game, again and again.

If you cut out all of the descriptions about how white MC's skin is, how slim his wrist, etc., the novel would only be 300 chapters.

Also, it's very obvious which games the writer liked more than others.

The one about Zergs could have easily been cut in half because none of the players is involved, it's just background happenings no one needed to read about in such great detail.
People read the novel for its characters, namely the MC/ML, not unimportant background actors and stories inside a story, of which neither will come up ever again after the game is over.

There was overall a lot of time wasted on this stuff, in every game, it feels very much like wordcount inflation.

It's a shame, the humour and main characters are great, I laughed hard several times and genuinely like the CP's dynamic, but I find myself more annoyed the longer I read, so much that I started to skip large portions, basically everything that has nothing to do with any players... and that's quite a lot.
The novel should have had maybe 200 chapters, the rest is nothing but fillers.

Could have been a 5/5 novel but, like many webnovels, it was dragged down due to wordcount inflation so the writer could make more money with it than it actually deserves.

Review from my rec list: 4/5 for well-done infinite horror that doesn't get boring despite going on for hundreds of chapters. MC is a former AI machine that becomes human and is OP.

It's a 4/5 for me, but in terms of danmei ratings which skew higher, I'd say it's more like a 4.5/5.

The MC is obliged to help the people due to his consciousness as a robot. I thought I would be annoyed but I felt awe instead. I like seeing a principled MC, that despite the maltreatment, he keeps sticking to his principles and in turn change the perspective of the other into something good.

to be honest the synopsis really make me interested. And when am read chapter to chapter is fun! Yeah it's my taste hahaa, but until am read to chapter 20, interaction about MC and ML is nothing: ( ((. And this novel is really really slow, ya I know novel with genre infinity like this always have slowly plot, but I really wanna know how MC and ML going together, or I just want to see their interaction, just two of them.
