Cylon tries to resist his fate with his 21st-century democratic citizenship, which has infiltrated his mind with memories of his previous life.

Story is engaging, cute and fluffy.

Translator is mtl.

Recommended for fluff seekers who can handle bad grammar and nonsense sentences.

I like this story for a few main reasons, and though some may agree or didagree, this is based of of my own personal taste and criteria.

1.) Translation

The translation is quite good for edited MTL. It is easy to ready and understandable. Considering the differing use of KoreN grammar and definitions verus that of English, it is going to feel formal in some parts as it is very different to how English novels are written. Overall, a very good translation. Kudos to the translator despite their schedule.

... more>> 2.) Plot

We have seen this trope many times before in different medias and countries. How there is a demon and a group of heroes must defeat evil. Its well known. Despite this, I like how it doesn't feel jarring or out of place. As we go through the story, the reason and sudden appearance of the demon is slowly sprinkled in.

The author truly understand "show, don't tell" as it invigorates me to link certain points of the plot together to formulate as I go on. It certainly helps that the characters: Cylon (MC), Mohon (ML), Reg and Hert are all linked to the appearance somehow. Though there isn't much story or depth on Reg and Hert as of Ch53, I do hope it will have in the coming chapters.

3.) Character Depth

The mystique and mystery around Cylon (MC) is superb. The slow and consistent drops of information we have of him made me feel as though while I was liking him for being the MC, I was also learning about him as a real person, small tidbits over time. This applies as well to Mohon (ML) and the other two party members.

The intimate and gradual showcase of MC and ML feels genuine. It is toxic-free and drama-free, with only certain doom impending on their budding romance. The connection they have feels so sweet and gentle, which made me excited for the plot and what could develop from this bud of early infatuation.

4.) Relationships

I love the link of every character has with one another. Though I do feel it is too early in the story to comment on the party's friendship itself (as Reg and Hert have yet to have chapter dedicated to them and their background, with only some scenes dropping a few paragraphs of their lore), the other relationships are exciting and well-thought.

Between the MC and ML, the MC and the magic tower and, the Demons and the Humans — each of these relationship have well-thought and in-depth roles that overall comeplements the whole plot. It doesn't feel like one side is overpowering the other or one side is more significant to the plot ergo being one dimensional. All of these are very layered and packed with so much detail. I'm very amazed with the author's ability of world building and relationship building.

Overall, this deserves more than 5 stars. If I could, I'd like to give it 10. I wish for this to get more attention as it is insanely good. <<less
