This story is amusing.

The pairing is also interesting. The pirate captain is adorably silly, and the merman is quite a black-bellied.

I kind of feel bad for the captain, though; he's so silly, he really couldn't help but be bullied. 🥲 Overall, it's an enjoyable read. 3.5/5*

I felt like reading a plot line, a plan before actually writing the book. No, that was definetly plot because whole page was paragrapths seperated and even labeled with numbers. So.. Yeah one shot, its fluffy, and only takes 2 mins at most to read.. You have few mins to spear right?

It's way too fast! I know it's a oneshot, but still there are limits! 🤬

We don't have time to appreciate the characters! And for the little time we have to try to appreciate them, I just hate them! 😡

I like sweet and innocent mermans. It is absolutely not!
I like self-confident, courageous pirates (I'm not asking them to be dominant and ruthless either, just brave) ! He doesn't have it! Looks like a kid! 😠

And speaking of kids! But let's talk about it! The way it's written, it really looks like the way we tell a story to children just before they sleep! 🤬

I'm sorry but I didn't even like the characters, or the narration, or the events (if you can call them events because let's be honest about the short reading time)., not much is happening and the little that is happening takes place in one sentence, two if we are lucky !!!), nor the speed of the narration !!! 😠

I am even more disappointed because I have already read novels (several of which were oneshots) by this author and I liked them. I don't know what happened to make her do this to us. 🤔😭

I don't even understand why people rated it so highly (3.8 / 5 at the time of writing this review), it isn't worth more than 1.5 / 5 !! And again, I find myself nice. 😡

So, I sincerely apologize to the author, the translators and anyone who may have appreciated this thing, but for me it is not worth reading. 😤

If you don't want to waste time, I advise you to go your way. 😡

That said, you won't waste a lot of time since the reading lasts no longer than two minutes! But you will still have time to be disappointed. 😑

Super quick read, less than a few minutes honestly. It’s cute, um, very fast paced (obviously) and reads a little more like a synopsis/story plan than a fleshed out story. Fluffy.

OMG SO CUTEEEEEE!!! The cutest and sweetest one-shot! It was fluffy and funny. I love how the merman to the pirate always has the vibe of "its ok babygurl, let me deal with it" LMAO sknans, it was hilarious. The pirate is such a cute lil bean and our merman too is the sweetest! They both suit each other.

So far I can't give anything by this author a bad rating. The writing always cracks me up. This is another funny little story. Nothing special, but entertaining. I love the role reversal with cold gong merman (mermaid? Not sure how it works) and soft and sweet shou pirate captain.

it was ok...? very fast paced (obviously cuz its a oneshot) but I feel like some of the interactions/conversations between MC and ML were awkward and unrealistic because of that. theyre all extremely direct, no thinking, and while SOME of it could come off as that just how their characters are I feel like it was too much to be completely explained like that. fun read though
