A simple but satisfying read.

First and foremost, I wanna say that this story is a refreshing read with a bit of fluff included, and I can ensure you that there's no angst at all. The relationship evolution between the MC and ML is legit and isn't rushed in any way, there are definitely cute and heartwarming moments between them that lead to their romance. The side characters such as peers/roommates of the MC and ML all have likable personalities, and they made the storyline much more interesting as well as intriguing.

Characters:

MC – Xia Yunian

Our... more>> MC have quite a lively personality but I won't really fit him into the extroverted category since he also has a level-headed side to him. He is definitely more mature among his peers and can also be described as stubborn in some ways. But all in all, the MC definitely has a likable characteristic 😉

ML – Fu Shicheng

During the earlier stage of the novel, we get to know that our ML is an expert in music and astronomy-related stuff, his personality could be described as detached/aloof but he still cared for the MC.

Overall, the reason I started reading this novel is because I came across it on 长佩文学 and became genuinely fond of the 白芥子's writing style so I would definitely recommend it to anyone who have a craving for fluff or are seeking for a shounen ai novel that has a slice-of-life vibe included in it 😅 <<less
