Don't go into this story thinking to immerse yourself in world building and character development.

Romance plot was very forced. Couldn't feel how it developed at all. Just the author telling you "Here's a supporting character. The MC interacted with them a few times, now he's emotionally attached to them." It doesn't make me, as a reader, understand or follow MC's journey.

I don't even want to mention ML, the whole relationship was abusive af and MC is ok with it because "there's evidence that he fell in love with him in... more>> the past" even though he doesn't remember it. And past MC fell in love with ML because "his future self loves the ML" despite only interacting for 1 chapter in the story, of which MC immediately jumped to straddling ML's lap within the first few paragraphs of meeting him.

The whole story was rushed, the 2 years 9 months between Gate openings was condensed within 1~2 chapters. 10 years of planning from the main antagonist was just covered in 5 chapters. All in all, it was a pain to read. <<less

I think this novel have so much potential to be flesh out tbh. So be careful if you want a unlimited flow novel this is really not for you. Its more like a novel tackling a concept of time warp??? Time travel??? Alternate universe??? But not unlimited flow.
