And what Rongji first do when he wake up is voluntary surrounded himself because pheromone or not it still r*pe if the omega isnt consent. It make the omega and ME stunned, like... it rare to see seme in c-novel have this "thinking" because mostly they are assh*le who doesnt know word consent when it come to s*x. After that he became one of my favs seme :)

The tracker inside Gu Xi was never resolved or found. Excuse me author? Did you forget about it? It makes my skin crawl throughout your book to know that WHQ has access to GX position, and still has access after the main story ended. Bro. Ew.

Edit : the tracker was found in the final extra chapter like an afterthought. It was glossed over with a dumb excuse. Still gross.

He doesn't die, so he can still be a bloody creep even with the "man I'm so bored with the world" back story.

the whole magic/God thing was weird to me. Kudos to the author for trying something different but it didn't work for me. It was obvious from the begining that Wu Hanqi wasn't normal.

there is of course the original story that has all the scum gongs that the MC has to defeat, which is 5 plus Wu Hanqi.

Their relationship that takes until chapter 80 something to be confirmed, I mean the MC is so dense and hung up on Omega men still being men for too long.

Then Poor Wu Fuyu, I think the author is against homosexuality, it's so weird that it's ok M/M as long as they are A/O but author make Wu Fuyu gay (A/A is gay) which is bad in this world and he is just made fun of the whole time. He redeems himself through the power of love but author just abuses him

And lastly the biggest issue is that the 2 main characters still don't really communicate with each other, still so many assumptions about each other that it's aggrivating. MC treats ML like a porcelain doll, ML is always hiding his true self and thinks ML doesn't like him. I wanted to smack them both. Sure a couple of misunderstanding s is fine but it went on till the end.

Towards the end, things just started going haywire. Like, they gave the baton a.k.a the world's power to this random guy, whose screen time is the least amongst all the other side-characters, making him the ultimate boss. It was just too sudden and disrupted the pacing of the story. Apart from that I started to loose interest onto the part where ML does mark MC forcibly. (but MC has mutually concented already... it's more like ML is the only 'good' guy in his life who doesn't have any unsavory thoughts towards himself--MC has ability to read thoughts, thus making ML his target of affection. He has been trying to get ML feel attracted towards him too for this reason.) Now, onto why I'm unsatisfied with this. As mentioned before, he marks 'forcibly'. There's this will of the world (the power stolen by the ultimate villain) which makes several attempts to kill ML. So, ML is really infuriated and goes and marks MC. So, it kind of irked me a bit.

It started by MC transmigrating. He didn't immediately realise he was wearing a book. It was until his parents's banquet, he realised. So the banquet were nice but when the uncle came. It just 🤢. He is such a creep!!! There this young omega came At first I was wondering whether its was his son or the dad since both name kinda the same. It was the dad it irk me when mf be telling his okay with cheating but do it properly ughh. And then after the young omega go, he suddenly turn on the phone and we found he got tracker at Ml. I stopped there. He disgust me so much

I don't like his family at all. Parents are weird. The dad telling his wife that they need to bring someone over MC bed because he's embrassed hearing his parents f*king. Also who the hell tell their friend that when your son is 10+ he wants to marry you. Brother constantly giving me flag. Like when the author describes MC sleeping on brother pov :/

when ML’s parents died, he and his siblings were separated. ML was sent to his aunt, but when she went on a trip, the uncle tried to **** him and he escaped. He lived on the streets eating out of the garbage until HG (his future best friend) took him home, giving him food and shelter. Sadly, later he finds out that the day he escaped his sister went to visit him and instead meet the uncle. The uncle ***** his sister and after that she wandered dazed down the street until she was run over and died. ML felt so guilt he started to act like his sister was still alive. No matter what his brother and friend did, ML just couldn’t get past this illusion he created, so, they decided to pretend MLs sister was taken by a rich guy and that is the reason ML would disguise himself and infiltrate into banquets looking for his sister. We only see ML doing this once and never more. Why? Because with MC by his side, this manifestation of MLs sickness got better. He wasn’t alone anymore, he felt more safe and felt like he finally had a home (MC). It still took time for him to finally remember the true, that his sister is dead, but until then, he just put this in a box and buried inside himself.

and what made ML feel so unsafe?

He was once kidnapped. The person took photos, did bondage and God knows what else. Oh, I must clarify that MLs first kiss and first time was with MC, so he wasn’t ***** or kissed by force. MC managed to escape, but he always felt dirty. That is so because in this world, omega purity is a “must” and as ML grow up in this context, he believes he is unworthy of MC and is terrified of the idea of MC knowing about his past.

ML was also harassed a lot. Alphas are crazy about him and none really cared about his opinion.

One of the scums keep sending him creepy unsolicited gifts giving the sensation that he is always being watched. Tragically, he really was. There was a lot of hidden cameras at his house.

The gentle neighbor who always treated ML well was a scum that made a hole at the wall to watch him and made a painting of ML naked. The therapist who treated him for three years was another hidden beast. The uncle who always appeared to save him put a tracker inside his ankle. The guy who kidnapped him tried to put an experimental drug in his drink to make him forget ML.

Really unbearable!

I get why people may think there’s a red flag here at first, but it’s not the case at all.

XL, MCs older brother, was raised by his grandfather to be the perfect heir.

The father only knows about having fun, drinking around and having seggs. Not a decent heir at all. So, the grandfather put all his cards on XL.

XL’s childhood was not easy too. His mother died because of his father’s lover (the mother of his second brother), but he never blamed them. Yet, the woman send someone to kidnap him. XL still didn’t pursued it. Since grandfather’s goal was the perfect heir, XLs never really received proper family love, never played like a kid, never eat candies of chips, etc...

XL was lonely. Extremely lonely. He tried to get close to the original RJ (MCs body), but because of the second brother’s schemes, his actions was misunderstood. Once XL gave original RJ a cat that had no fur. RJ is allergic to cats and XL thought that the problem was the fur - so, a furless cat. Sadly, the problem was the cats salive, yet, RJ loved the cat. But the second brother managed to convince RJ that XL gave him a cat on purpose because of hate. RJ believed. The second brother tortured and killed the cat. Yeah...

So, XL learned about family love from MC. He learned what true family love and care. And despite XL inability to communicate his real feelings, MC understand him.

And that is what XL always needed. He needed care, family love, being understood and cherished. He needed to learn how to live and not be alone.

uncle Wu. I always get he is an unfinished project?

Uncle Wu is pretty much alienated from the world. He finds no joy in living it seems? He is extremely bored with life. He use people as tools, invest in what he finds interesting. He looks younger than he really is.

He helped the scums many times. He helped the guy who kidnapped ML (and put a track in his ankle while at it), he helped the lunatic that keep sending creepy gifts to Ml, he gave MCs second brother the poison to kill XL, he even is related to the drug one of the scums tried to use on ML. But not all the times he knew what the scum was gonna do with that. He doesn’t care. He would just say “I’m giving you, sign a confidentiality contract. I don’t care about what you do, but the consequences are yours only to deal with”.

about his interest in MC... At some point he love MC, not sure in which way, but he was also willing to almost kill MC. It seems Uncle Wu only care about interesting people and MC is the most interesting one? Uncle Wu also said MC somehow reminds him of himself.

What made me confuse is that ML was defensive with Uncle Wu (as Love rival? Didn’t want to leave both alone) and even grandfather mentioned something in this way (romantic / sexual) when uncle Wu asked for MC.

You see, in XL case, no character ever mentioned something in this way about him with MC, yet, with Uncle Wu the author decided to put those mentions. And Uncle Wu really treated MC different then how he interacted with his previous favored “nephews” (the scums - they and MC are all like “nephews”. But I can’t really compare with the way uncle Wu treated his lovers, since he treated them as dispensable tools.
