The structure is similar, there are face slaps & big silly reveals, but in this one the faceslaps are not nearly as resounding and the adversaries are just far more unreasonable & EVEN MORE two dimensional. I really can't believe I went through 1140 chapters of this. It can be said that you should only read this novel if you really have nothing to do and like excessive face slapping. Although I like my fair share of face slapping this is really something else. As this novel is pretty much 95% face slapping. On that note it was gruesome to actually read about the whatever netizens or fans say. It also doesn't help that any villain that appears are really s*upid and don't do much aside from thinking they're better than Su Bei. It just this rinse and repeat.

As bad as the chapters I read were, they were some good chapters hidden among the the tr*sh. There also was two characters that I liked that made my review a 2 star, Lu Weijian and Lu Hang. The male's lead's brother and assistant, their interactions was so much more enjoyable compared to the constant face slapping. I guess after the slow progression of romance, it was sort of better.
