After an accidental electric shock, Jackson traversed into a parallel world filled with supreme beings—beings whose might and strength could hold the skies on their shoulder.

At first, Jackson preconceived the idea that he’d only traversed on the other side of the world, the United States, until that is various peculiarities popped up.

While watching the news channel, Jackson wondered whose the big green guy jumping up and down the buildings of New York without care.

Who is that bodybuilder statue donned in a red-blue uniform standing tall and proud in the Memorial Hall?

And who is that man flying the skies with a big hammer calling himself a God?

Jackson wondered if he should advise his parents to move away from New York.

But after a moment of thought, Jackson pulled out his mobile phone and dialed a number. “Mr. Stark, for the safety of mankind, I think it’s necessary to discuss the developments of technology and advanced armors with you.”

This is the story of a young man living in the world of Marvel who only wished to live a quiet and stable life but as fate would have it, fate had other plans for him.

I really like this story. It's good to see the marvel characters in a different setting and the plot building is very nice. Especially, for a Chinese story, no one has yet said "you court death!!!" which I think is just fantastic. I was getting sick of that line that seems to appear in almost every Chinese novel. Also, I really like the protagonist. He is not the typical selfish, cruel, hypocritical, and egotistical protagonist that you typically see in Chinese novels. Jackson has a good set of morals and... more>> acts like a real person. I haven't read that far in yet however, I can tell that this is a very good fanfic.

Edit: I take that back about the "you court death!!!" The line appears in chapter 25.... <<less

i wanted to like this novel so much.. And it does have things I appreciate (like the MC decided to be a hero and not a villain)

but there was just so many things I just roll my eyes at and it breaks the immersion.. Like

1 - Reborn as an American but refers to himself with his Chinese name (everyone calls him his regular name but in his thoughts/monologues he calls himself his Chinese name)

2 - incredibly “convenient” system, I mean, at one point he needs to get Tony... more>> Stark’s trust, “oh what’s this? I’ll just give him this spaceship blueprint I was just randomly rewarded.”

i don’t want to type a wall, but if you can stay immersed with his 2 names and the lazy writing then I do think this could be a fun novel.. For me it was just disappointing. <<less

actually the story isn't really bad but the main reason I give this three star is because

1). The fact that MC simply call himself Lin Rui instead of Jackson kinda ruin the story since its kinda similar like getting fish bones stuck on your throat which is very uncomfortable to read.

2). Also the other character is simply cookie-cutter and didn't have that much character development since the story mostly revolve around the MC.

So far I'm really disappointed, the name thing didn't really bother me that much but the fact that the most important parts of the plot were barely introduce is pretty annoying.

I skim through most of the chapter but I generally catch on to the important parts. But somehow they managed to surprise me with the system suddenly being a loli....

Honesty, the series would be better if they didn't use a system that can speak.

The quests make no sense too, why the hell do you need to break off Peter and... more>> Harry's friendship and then 2 chapters later have you give him the choice to become a villain or a hero...

of course he choose the hero path instead of the more logical/interesting villain/anti-hero path

In comparison to Stand User, it's pretty boring. But somehow it's one fo the few marvel fanfic that has a bunch of chapters. I honestly don't understand why....

I generally never judge a novel by it's early chapters but the whole pointless system is making it hard to get motivated...

Update : Don't.

The MC suddenly told us that he already beat up gangster when the system told him that it would give him points. It was just casually mentioned like it wasn't something important....

The system is even worse now.

He relies on it way too much, like it suddenly proposed him to buy super suits, cool !

But then the price is really high ! Oh no !

But suddenly, random ass discount !

Why ?! Why the hell would you have the ability to casually give a discount of something you can't even control to begin with ?

I've read novels with sentient systems before and they were good. Mostly because they were all silent. Their character were presented by subtle actions and quests that looked like they were mocking or trolling the MC. For example, casually increasing the suits price for no reason just to piss him off would have been interesting.

Update 2 : Yeah, I'm dropping it.

Dude got a martial technique that just boost him to the level of jumping higher and he already wants to eliminated gangs.

As far as fanfic goes, you can find way better out there...

Seriously I don't understand why this fanfic is so popular. The system is just obnoxious...

Actually since I'm at it I'm gonna recommend "Stand User in Marvel Universe" and "I am in Marvel".

They are both way more enteresting in my opinion but somehow I am In Marvel as the one that was dropped...

I am planning to check "I can Download" and "Marvel Super Extraction" next as they could be interesting but honestly as long that they don't use pointless skip and don't have a boring sentient system they'll most likely be better. <<less

I just finished reading the story and as I expected it to be it matches with my tastes. I love rading fand fiction and especially really good like this. It has a nice start and the translation is decent. I cant write much more because its only the beginning but I rarely get dissapointed afterwards.

One of the most boring novels I have read in a while... Let me start

At the start we get introduced to the MC and story goes pretty well he has a system and he does quests to get rewards pretty classic stuff... Then 20 chapters in I was disappointed the system apparently told him how to complete quests like come the f*ck on. Every chapter u get different pov and the MC gets some "screen" time its mostly focused on superheroes like ironman and not gonna lie it isnt bad (his parents are gone by chapter 30 like they never existed which is a nono)... but the system sh*t is forgotten it only appears in every 20 chapters and apparently he already has 32000 merits which is explained with little information. Then came the most annoying part CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT apparently the author doesnt know how to properly develop characters after all he only shows ironman's POV of things for some time and the MC is left out and 100chapters in system is gone and he apparently gets a smart boost-ish were he can thing by himself amazing!!!Oh and also spiderman apparently isnt afraid to kill people in the novel how classic of a chinese author and how our MC first time killing is like oh I killed someone meh who cares... Honestly this novel hardly deserves 2 stars but author did a good job integrating all marvel stories together which atleast u can consider something...

To those who have doubts about this novel, don't. The idea of it being Marvel sounds unbearable, but have an open mind. It's an interesting read and the translation is easy to follow.

The MC is an amusing fellow who is, in a way, rebellious and wants to change fate, a powerful enemy, to save his friends. It clearly shows how courageous he is. He thinks outside of the box which I gladly applaude.

I'm thankful for this novel. I thought I had already read the decent novels in this website, however, this new and refreshing novel truly appeared me. <<less

Translation is decent, there isn't any problem that I know of.

Story-wise is pretty interesting. We have your usual system, the scumbag/tsundere kind, with our MC being isekai'ed.

Marvel characters' personality seems consistent so far, so I assume that author has down his work in researching Marvel Universe.

That being said, this is a pretty good novel (if you can get past your bias against fanfic-like novels) so far. Of course, this is only 3 chapters in so ratings might change in future

I think this story, even though the idea of a system is quite a cliche, has a lot of mechanics which really make this webnovel interesting. First off the idea that the protagonist lives in the world of marvel ist quite appealing. Through the use of the system which gives out interesting missions and lets the plot progress in interesting directions other than just letting the MC level up and become the most op hero in this world, the plot as of yet is very interesting. I think this novel... more>> has a lot of potential and hope the author wont stop translating, as we see it with many other new webnovels. <<less

I binged through this novel during the time I was supposed to study for my finals. But hey, I'm "that" kind of student during online classes.

I was never really into western comics. Apart from Deadpool. Love that 4th wall breaking bastard with all my soul. (Also Wakanda forever ㅠㅠ)

But this self-insert kind of novel was new to me. I always liked reading transmigration or reincarnation novels, but those were all set in unfamiliar worlds. However, even if I'm not interested in MARVEL or DC, I still know the gist... more>> of some famous characters.

I think that the author really blended MC well in the story.

I was really worried about Mark the whole time. I mean, they were best friends and suddenly he gets ignored. Feels sad man. Then surprise surprise. He's the new Winter Soldier. After mending so many relationships that were destined to get broken, it's kinda ironic that his own bestie became the victim.

Also love how Dr. Strange just knows it all. Lololol.

Fascinating premise, terrible execution.

This is a classical power fantasy wearing a cape of a self insert superhero story. It pays lip service to the traditional elements of Marvel in some interesting ways, but then completely wrecks itself in others. The story says it's following the MCU storyline, but it must have begun around the time of the first few movies because most of the characters follow their comic storylines. Which is fine, but there is no mention of it in the story aside from a single line of "this is... more>> not entirely the world you knew" and it bothers me.

So hard-core fans might not enjoy that part.

Also, the canon characters and hero's just kinda bend over backward for the MC, even when its not in character for them. It's like he exudes this pheromone that makes them all trust and follow him like dumb puppies.

Plus, the system is sentient for no reason. Which really annoys me because this could be a fascinating and complex story element. Like why does MC have this system? Why is it helping him? What does it get out of it? There's some mention of there being other systems following the same path but nothing ever comes of it. It's just there to be a convenient plot pusher and gold finger.

Not to mention the MC stands for like nothing but being vaguely good. No grand ideology, no concrete morals, just standard "I like my friends, I want to be good" and the story bends over backwards to present this as MC being the best. Like no, he's just some dude.

Aside from that, if you can turn your brain off it's a fairly fun story. The premise is genuinely interesting, and I'm a big fan of self inserts. Honestly I might use this premise for a fic of my own. But the execution is terrible and ruins any personal enjoyment I might get out of it because I can't stop asking questions like "why is character x doing that?" And the answer is inevitably "so MC can look cool/have fun" <<less

It's basically a hodgepodge of every Marvel movie but the MC is Chinese and have a system.

The stories are stitched similarly to Super Detective, that's why I'm not gonna commend the author for that. It started interesting, but it became boring because it focused way too much with repetitive quests. It also doesn't help that the system seems to suggest a lot of things and t made the MC too dependent on it, it's also a Loli for some reason.

There are also many loopholes that I'm too lazy to point... more>> out. It's like reading a Marvel novel but the MC is such a spoiler, so he just blabbed everything even if he has no way of explaining those shits. But everyone seems like an idiot and went like, " I believe you MC". OH REALLY NOW? <<less

Pretty good!

It's the kind of novel that is really easy to read because you already know the plot and the main characters. The author manages to insert the MC quite well in a story that mixes the most known comics from Marvel ... more>>

Spider Man, Daredevil, X-men, Iron man, Captain America, Hydra/Shield etc...

and the early chapters are really good.

Of course, the MC has a "cheat" that allows him to be part of the story, but it is not too OP, so there are no big armor plot. If the "cheat" is quite used at the begining, after the first 100 chapters, it's less and less used, and there is a reasonnable reason for that.

One of the con is that the author seems to develop the plot arround the movies and not the comic books so there is a lack of depth. But, at the opposite, it's really easy to get into and read the story, furthermore because you know the plot, using mtl to go further than the translation is for once, not a pain at all. <<less

The language is a bit stiff, which is probably just a quirk of the translation from Chinese to English. Aside from that, I'm loving this. Our MC has no clue how to get things done, but is still trying his best to get the most out of his situation. The Marvel Heroes personalities don't shine through, but then again the story is mostly revolving around the MC. If there was a bit more flesh to the Marvel Universe in this story I'd have given it a full 5-stars, as the... more>> story is it's a fairly good 4-star story. <<less

Nice fun novel till now. Seems to follow the standard plot of introducing a "system" to create an OP MC in a world (Naruto, Bleach, Shokugeki no Soma, whatever), but thank to some excellent translation, the humour comes across, and the series doesn't take itself too seriously (atleast for now). Definitely worth a read if a fan of the Marvel Universe, or for passing the time between your favorite novels
