“Hey, Yoshi-kun. I think you’re——”

Hearing that voice for the first time stopped me in my tracks. On my way home from school. On the playing field of our junior high, and at the bookshop in front of the station. And then in the empty lot where the white cat slept. Shiina Yuki, the strange girl who somehow knew all about me, always approached me like that.

We laughed, cried, got angry, held hands. Again and again, we repeated those disappearing memories and ephemeral promises. That’s why I never knew. I never knew the value of Yuki’s smiles or the meaning of her tears. Nor even the singular sentiment behind her many ‘Nice to meet you’s.

This is a captivating, heartrending tale of meetings and partings.

The first 3 chapters is good enough. The characters, the romance, the circumstance,... everything is nice.

Until chapter 4 unravels into something SO illogic that it ruined the whole story. I can indulge a few minor plot holes, but this can't be ignored, because everything you read after that just lead to more unanswered questions.

I've wanted to read this since its release day, but this is a disappointment. I just hope the last 2 chapters can change my mind.

Still, thank Hellping for translating this.

Warning, prepare yourself if you want to read it. This is a story about a bizarre yet sweet love story between a normal boy and a girl with some mysteries as it's spices. Overall it's a compelling story, it might confuse you when you first read it, but trust me, you will understand it later. There's a lot of clue scattered before the big revelation and the revelation itself is good enough. In the end it is a beautiful story that I really love to read

Also, I wish that Shiina can return as a normal girl someday, or at least relieved from that "curse" and find her love again

A bizarre romance.

Each chapter can be read on its own but come together to build up a mystery.

Bittersweet, which can make it enjoyable or hard for some people.

All I can say is, I wonder how it will end.

The story is pretty good, buy I dropped due to the writing style and the fact that the book seems to be centralized around a tragedy. I'm not really a big fan of tragedies, and the last one I read ended up with the girl getting r*ped and abused by her father, so I was very hesitant to continue reading this, as I was not sure what the tragedy will be

The characters and the conflict are very interesting while the illustrations are simple yet beautifully drawn. It flawlessly captured the image of Yuki's loneliness hence I loved it! Anyway, the story was good but the ending disappointed me because of how it was left open without any closure about the conflict. I hope that there's a sequel that'll give a more satisfying conclusion for this bittersweet love story because I really want to see Yuki and Haru happy together. They truly deserve that.
