Seems super generic like most other novels these days, but I'll give it a go. The name Nie Tian is giving me bad vibes though.

Edit: Ok, so it uses a lot of names from TDG and has an MC good at everything. The grammar isn't that great and its a hassle to read and try to understand what is being said. The translator also uses pinyin instead if using English (ie. Ninth sister is written as "jiumei"). There's also the fact that the idiums and sayings are directly translated, so... more>> any non native would be thrown off (ie. "You don't poop and have someone kiss your a**. I'm gonna kick your a** and have you eat that back, " thundered Nie Tian within himself). This will be put in the "have nothing better to do" list. <<less

Started decent, and it was not that bad, but it become repetitive and kept deviating from main plot points. If describing in RPG terms, the side quests became the focus of the story. Once the author came back to the main quest, it becomes irrelevant and a different main quest begins, and then back to side quests.

However, the biggest annoyance I have with this story is last second intervention in fights. Almost in every fight, someone intervenes before the ending of fights. When it does not happen, it becomes a... more>> surprise. I have read many Chinese novels, and I know it happens a lot, but this one is the king of them all. You can probably add most popular CN novels together that have last second intervention, and this once still has more. It became so bad, in one particular fight, both sides were going back and forth for a while in intervening. About half of the time is Sect Masters, which makes you think how do they have so much time to intervene in the fights of juniors, while they have to worry about rival sects.

The MC lived at the peak before he was killed, but it seems he never encountered martial artists with special bodies or constitutions. Yet, in his second short life, he counters them left and right, it seems like everyone has a special body, trait, etc.

We find out MC has a special background, and that he has a special fetus, which helps him improve his cultivation faster than normal. Thus, he has become a threat, and needs to be remove. However, during mc's journey, he meets many young martial artist that are the same age or younger than MC, but stronger. Every time MC levels up, he encounters a young person as strong, but no one questions how they became strong, and go with natural talent.

The MC is the most lame or s*upid of all the novel that I've read. Its just plain plot armour that he always survive. No scheming, no plan b just pure strength and will and head on confrontation.
