I planned to write in more detail but I don't intend to spend my time.
From the creator of "The Strongest Guild Master Founded a Nation in a Week" which already shows the level that will have this novel, but with a worse MC being this the opposite (useless, mentally inept and hetare), otherwise it will be the same as the other novel, characters without depth, poor development of the world, an insipid (pseudo-) harem (something related to affection other than friendship or family, where?) and that thanks to the... more>> castle is possible since the MC is useless.

"But, but the illustrations are good", those are from the light novel, which may have improved, but this is the web novel. <<less

Let's say that it's an okay story. Ai-chan got one laugh out of 59 chapters.

That being said, the story isn't very good. The protagonist is supposed to be an adult, but he's very immature and let's just say if you search for 'dumbass' in the dictionary, his face would be right next to the title. There were many times when Ai-chan read his response and sighed in anger.

You know, if this is reality, he wouldn't been dead several times now. He doesn't even bother trying to learn how his castle... more>> works. He's simply on the thought process of, "Oh, this thing exists, let's have fun." The only draw of this story is the flying castle.

If you want something thought provoking, or even particularly enjoyable story, this will disappoint you. This is just another 'slow-life' novel with some conflict spattered in, which is not handled well at all by the protagonist. Ai-chan would've taken a different direction, but it is that kind of story. <<less

I started reading this because I saw the first chapter of the manga and though that it looked interesting.

But after reading the webnovel to this point, is such a disappointment, the MC is s*upid as f*ck he was written in way that he would have been killed or taken prisoner like 3 times already.

makes me think that author doesn't know what to write and just write whatever comes, that's why the story is so poor and annoying.

so read it you have nothing more to do, like really if you have... more>> dishes to wash, clothes to wash, is better to do that instead of wasting your time with this story, unless you have a thing for s*upid mcs. <<less

A story about a boy (I know he's supposed to be 30 but he's way too immature and the number just seems to be an excuse to make him seem more mature than his teenage love interests) who interacts with the world around him in a powerful and meaningful way without ever having to leave the safety of his own personal bubble. Also, people can only enter his bubble with his permission, and even after entering his bubble he decides how much access and interaction they can have with his... more>> stuff. Also, everybody agrees that his bubble is awesome and imposing and not at all a sign of insecurity. Wow. I could make a lot of guesses about this author's state of mind from this book. But honestly, if you don't think too deeply, it's not that bad. Not great, but not bad. It's wish-fulfillment for a niche audience. Say what you like about the castle protecting him from any real possibility of failure, but it's not always bad to read a story with wars and intrigue where you don't have to worry about anything traumatic or excessively underhanded.

I would compare this to "isekai nonbiri nouka" in terms of tone and the form of MC's OP ability (in that he has his own territory where he is in control). But those are the only similarities. This story is more immature and slightly lower quality. But I think certain people will still get a kick out of it. Just think of it as a guilty pleasure. <<less

MC is s*upid and naive. A typical MC who actually old but then act and think like a wet boy.

The story also confusing cuz there's too many pov. And not one that has smooth connection/transition.

Avoid this novel at all cost. Its going to hurt your mind. Here is the thing : The MC is 30 yrs old, yet somehow he was been killed by the reason "a mistake" and sent to another world. Before sending him, he was given bonus as a compensation of the "mistake" he will able to wish anything, but he wished to have A "Castle in the sky". Ironically, That was his own mistake. He forgot that he is alone, while the castle is just an empty castle provided with... more>> security weaponry at disposal. He forget the most important thing : the crews for the castle.

Even worst, in a short chapter he is feeling lonely due to being the only resident that leads to searching human settlement and etc. <<less

The first Arc is quite fine, but after that everything degrades to tr*sh!

This novel is a great example of everything that is wrong in JP novels.

MC is so Naive, and doesn't think like an adult at all.

... more>> MC is so scared to get out of his comfort zone, just stepping out of his castle makes him scared, MC admitted this.

There are interesting characters in this novel, but the worst character is the MC himself.

MC feels more like a side character, he is just there to exist.

The Plot progression is unbearable, there are no smooth transition between POV's.

Author tends to drag some things that are not eve interesting or something you would forget after reading it.

Also the MC will make you lose some brain cells. Listen to the reviews! Save yourself from this novel, it's a waste of time.

The author is the same creator of "Founding a Nation in a week" at least that novel is quite readable and a little bit interesting despite its flaws, but this novel doesn't have the spice of his first novel.

No Action from the MC he just sits their on his throne.

MC doesn't use his brain properly and always choose the most ineffective method.

So what is the MC good at? Nothing.

Romance doesn't exist, there is no sense of enjoyment, there is no sense of indulgement from reading this. <<less

This sets an example of my problems with some Jp Authors and mainly isekai, if they saw or write a novel formula that was successful most likely they will not get so much thought when creating a new novel just a pseudo copy-paste of what already have worked before with some minor changes, in this case, the MC and the floating castle premise.

And regarding this novel just don't read it, the MC is what will give you a mental breakdown unless you have something with truly idiots MC.

Yeah... jokes aside this MC is a level of garbage never seen before. I want the author to apologize for writing one of such shitty level. I want his fictional parents to apologize to their fictional world for giving birth to such an individual. When the story started, right from the get go I had this incongruous feeling, of reading an alternative version Overlord. From the start not only did MC not build his overpowered assets. It's... more>> all a result of what was given simply wished and received effortlessly. I felt a wrongness in it, i've seen the same thing happen in other stories, but this one for the first time.... I felt it was a very wrong thing. It was like seeing, a timid child being given keys to a car to drive because they asked their parents nicely enough. This is terrible, the MC does not go contrary to expectations thoughtless act after the next. What is that Chinese novel saying again? something about an innocent man and jade yeah something of that garden variety. Only in this case the guy is such a garbage, MC that if his "Jade" was robbed he would probably laugh and smile with his robbers and joke "It was too much to handle for me anyway" This guy is that tr*sh lvl. I can picture it, he has not even ambition lets not say he "Has no ambition" I consider it to be a truth he has no personal will! no ego a severe lacking sense of self. He is simply dragged along for the ride in most things that happen. In this novel, Figuratively and literally! "Floating aimlessly". How can such a character be of any interest? Are Japanese people really as conveyed in these novels so subservient and submissive? If not every author who writes such stories they do their nation and people a severe disservice. Mixing up kindness and timidness, being afraid is fine for growth but their is a point in understanding one must face adversity irrespective of fear. The thing though is, these MC's will never come across such moments (Being overpowered) as a result never really show actual maturity. It makes them less than bland to read about. It makes them disgusting to see, this guy literally saw people "Legally" assaulting a young girl, then in the course of rescue (Not stemming from his own personal judgement) was actually very worried about how the attackers were treated. Showing actual relief when they were stated to be unharmed. To me I consider such a thing an evil as great as him being an accomplice of every victim those attackers create next. I don't like comparisons like this, but I see it. Make it, a Chinese novel the MC will with resolution kill them to prevent such matters from occurring again. It is bloodthirsty yes but in such an arcane reality detestably necessary. Truth be told as a reader I see many 3rd option methods too choose from. If you cannot capture them or make sure they are frighted, enough to never do it again that said then for what reason are you saving anyone even the person in front of you. Chinese MC (Isekai) pretend to be good people doing bad things but Japanese MC (Isekai) like this one simply want to help and bless everyone even the most detestable monster's.I say a good 70% of Chinese MC's are villains but such villainy is a lesser evil than someone who will bring about conflict for the sake of their timid justice that ultimately will never change the status quo. I hate that these guys go into these world see s*avery and say basically "When in Rome" Chinese MC do that sh*t too but readers know they are not good so it is a bit more tolerable. It irks me when I see an overpowered guy like this basically run around putting out little fires. In the form of isolated cases when they more than have the power to put out the forest fire in the form of change. Authors who write these type of novels in japan make me consider that is how they all think but when I read something like Hakai No Miko where they have an MC with similar personality but doing MUCH! more with MUCH! less I consider that it simply cannot be all Japanese that are like this guy. <<less

eh... its mildly interesting, read this only if you are bored or does t have anything to read anymore

its definitely not bad, theres lot of s*upid choices the MC made, MC feels complete lack of common sense, weak in term of character, lot of unecessary situation can be avoided if the MC not so damn s*upid.

but even tho I said it, the novel itself still mildly interesting, mildly unique

fun note, the MC is soooo immature that I forgot hes a 30 years old man...i just realized it after read couple... more>> of review here <<less

I've decided to drop this novel. I couldn't tolerate any further out-of-character choices made by several of the characters. Whats the point in developing a character if you're going to force them to do things that the character you created wouldn't do them naturally? Too much is forced to continue on the plot and its just getting more chaotic. Its like a child wrote the story and it keeps bouncing everywhere. Maybe if the author added in several chapters to actually give them a practical purpose the story could have... more>> developed the way he wanted it too without ruining the story, alas for me, too much is inconsistent and MC is making very immature/juvenile choices.

I did enjoy in the beginning I just don't see how it could possibly regain my interest at this point. <<less

I get some of the complaints toward the series and I admit the MC is annoying, but I like it. If your not looking for anything serious than I would recommend this series.

The main attraction of the story for me is seeing how the different countries react to this flying paradise

I think the idea of this story is more or less good but the implementation is just terrible. The main character is a s*upid amoeba that has no brain, he has a castle in his possession, he owns it but behaves as if it is not his property. He is polite to everyone he meets - what is such politeness worth? What is his kindness worth if he is kind to everyone? His motivation is a popular morality of modern times when people do not have a special mind without... more>> going into it and do not think they make conclusions based on black and white thinking. He is driven by a dull sense of justice which is basically vague and not strong since he is not aware of it himself I can conclude that he has adopted this morality purely on a passive basis inherited from the environment. Completely empty the main character is a typical representative of modern herbivorous Japan who has no reason to trust completely unfamiliar people without demanding anything in return and expecting nothing from them.

The manga was good and interested me, but now I'm reading a novel and I'm completely unfazed. This is a low-quality work and I do not recommend it to anyone. In <<less
