Excruciating translation making it hard to follow

Maybe it would be ok if she had a destructive power she wants to hide, but why did the writer chose healing ? - well maybe, it brings the question of « duty » ? If you had the power to heal and save, do you have an obligation to the world to use it ? But can it be a debate actually ? Would we find it ok for a doctor to watch a dying person without moving because it’s weekend or holidays, or because they planned a tea party and only feel like playing ? I doubt so ?

There no doubt it feels legitimate to consider helping the normal way, and it seems to be the same for the characters of that world : with great powers comes great responsibilities ? - Maybe you’d be fine with that paradigm, but I guess I found it rather shocking, and I could only hope it doesn’t last, but it’s still feels quasi evil in fact <<less

Stopped at c11. There's too much spacing out of FL due to overthinking or whatnot (not including the memory thing). Atm, she's not likeable and I don't have the drive to continue reading for now. Also, it's a little hard to read.

I do get the idea of not wanting to be owned by the empire because of your ability. She thinks she'll be restrained and she's basing this on the novel she read so it's fine. Usually, abuse and overwork is the norm in novels. Tho it did not describe... more>> the bad side much. The problem is her solution. It's not shown if she verified this and if she really does not have any other options but to just fail her training to leave.

For me, it's her choice where and when to use her power. It shows one's principle/ethics/personality etc whatever she decides to do with it. You can't really force someone..

The event in the party showed a little that she won't ignore mass death. Tho she was okay to ignore the prince's sickness alone.. <<less

I made it to chapter 12. I still know absolutely nothing. The world building is crap, oh it's just a book I was obsessed with and no details on what type of world is it... The memory problems are crap, I have memory issues and it's nothing like what is being described. She is so vapid is whiny. I'm done dropping this tr*sh.
