The Kingdom of Albein was blessed with the appearance of the Miracle children, individuals with the greatest talents ever seen. Despite being around ten years old, with abilities dozens of times stronger than the average adventurer, they managed to reach a strength score that exceeded 100.000 points, granting them the SSS adventurer grade. With a mere party of five people, they defeated the Demon Lord regaining the kingdom’s peace.

After that journey, D*ck Silver, the most balanced one between them, racked his brain to not draw the public attention.

In the end, he decided to become the Guild Master of a suburban guild as a reward, becoming its 12th successor.

After five years he reached his aim and then became a regular of its own guild’s cafe.

But one day, as he was drinking at the bar as always, the daughter of a certain aristocrat came to pay him a visit…

The MC doesn't have the guts to kill his enemies. When you are raiding an enemy base "kindness" should be the last thing on your mind, instead the MC decided to

"I cast sleep magic on him, since forcing him to sleep with violence might have been too much"

Whaat? Your enemies deprived other race of their freedom, turn them into s*aves and treat woman as a f*cking tool, yet you don't have the stomach to f*ckin kill them?

When you live in that kind of world, killing your enemies should be the... more>> norm not something like "I don't to kill fellow human because I'm kind" bullsh*t.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with these japanese author who thinks kindness would solve the problems of the world. <<less

The translation is very good, easy to read and there's little to no mistake at all. The problem is the story itself, it's mediocre. The world is written solely for the MC: all plot important characters around him are girls and every female character mentioned in the story will fall for him. The setting itself is not written properly, we don't know how the world outside of the bar looks like, and even when the author shown them it's very shallow and lazy. The plot is episodic, with the format... more>> of "Girls who will fall for the MC this episode"! The forced denseness from the MC is grating to read, he's also a failure as a guild master (a weak girl being overconfident wanted to defeat dragon, instead of showing her how reality works, he buffed her and provided her with a cheat guide. Good job stunting someone's growth MC, though since the world is being made for the MC, ofcourse everything went well in the end) <<less

The MC is extremely dense which is annoying.

He has OP support skill but either he doesn't realize it himself or that he does but hide it intentionally and he is also a lady killer. I mean come on, he's no different than the hero in a hero party instead of a support character. All the girls flock to him anyway. Seems pretentious. The hero might as well be nonexistent. Dropped.

I hate it.

This is like every overpowered MC living his slow life but also not the same. Was it original? Kinda, not in a sense of idea but in way that the author developed the plot and characters. Was it realistic? Not really, both psychologically and logically wise. But was it enjoyable? Absolutely yes. The fight sence are actually very well-made and the use of tactics to make use of every little opportunities are praise-worthy. And by mentioning a couple thing in the past, the author seem to not shy away from... more>> those kind of thing. But most importantly, the characters actually feel alive, the main one that is. It was so good that I'm starting to not mind the clear harem route the author is taking. That being said, this novel is not perfect, cliche developments are still there, dumb moments are still there, fake climaxes are still there, a lot of the problem with a typical isekai novel are still there. But atleast it's not hopeless yet like some, the author actually seem to know what he's doing this time. <<less

Currently at chapter 5 and although I wouldn't really put a concrete rating yet, I can still give my own opinion during these first few chapters.

Well first of all, I have to address how amazed I am to have actually lasted this long in a Japnese webnovel. It's been more than half a year since I actually read one properly. As for the novel's secret of doing so, well, you'll find out later.

The thing I hate most about Japanese webnovels is that most of them are in first person POV.... more>> I can't just stand it reading stuff like "I swing my sword at him" or "I swiftly dodged his strike" or "She gently held my har-"*cough* you get the point. So far, surprisingly, this hasn't been much of a problem in this novel. Why? You'll know why later!

Another thing I absolutely abhor is how an MC can speak with literally 4 women at the same time all on his own and still be a fuxking beta male. I wouldn't ask why they even fell for him OR how he doesn't even f*cking notice it since I wouldn't find a positive friendly answer. And yet somehow, I'm not too bothered by it! I still am actually btw, just not too much. And why is that? Well....

Okay I'll finally say why, and spoiler alert, if you want to experience it yourself firsthand, go ahead and do so. So the reason is actually because......

The MC is Dick. The MC's name is actually d*ck Silver. Like seriously, that's f*cking hilarious. To give an example of how ridiculous that is, imagine a girl saying,

“Thank you. I would do anything for you, Dick... ”

No joke, that's a direct quotation from chapter 4, check it out for yourself. Like hell, can you even take it seriously? Lol

It still has a beta male MC tho who's all f*cking spineless around girls and all self deprecated in how he talks and harem has to reassure him of his masculinity every paragraph by saying how cool he is. I'll see how it goes and I probably drop it in a chapter or two. Will update if I actually last long enough to add more to this review and add a rating or something. <<less

This book is pretty unique however like most harem books, the relationships and characters rnt the best. Better than a lot. You might love this book if u r n semi new reader, but if u read a lot then itll be hard to make u stick to reading. I remember I used to love this book. If not for that, its possible that I wouldve rated this a 3.

Pleasantly surprised.

The Grammar is fairly well done, only a few instances where the wording stumbles, but it doesn't detract from the story itself. The writing is superb, and entertaining, though not the best I've read, it does quite well for this genre of story-telling. The story is not new, but it is told in an entertaining style where the MC actually does his best to hide himself instead of just saying that he wants to hide himself then showing off at every other turn of the story and lamenting that... more>> he can't hide himself.

Overall, very well done. <<less

Chapters are fairly short, over all it's good, main character is op but in a silly way, the fact that he wasn't found out before is kinda bs, and that the send male hero goes into that profession with no female prospects is also kinda dumb, but as it's always about the main I suppose it's fine to ignore that, do personally I like it if you can get past a few cliches, a massive jump with no real history, unintelligent characters, and as of chapter 10 a person who... more>> thinks he acts like a drink but obviously fails hard to hide him self, then it's worth a read <<less

For those criticizing this novel's MC being too kind, well, you're not wrong. And since this is technically a slice of life novel, dont be sad when the action scenes are not up to standard. The MC isnt OP as you think he is. He is one of the SSS adventurers, but his skill set is skewed towards support. Not like he cant fight at all, but compared to his party mates, which are also SSS rank adventurers, he is lacking in the damage dealing department. He is dense though.... more>> And for those who says the hero is redundant (that the right word?) since MC seems to be able to do everything, read further up. Yes, I agree with MC being s*upidly kind, even towards enemies is kind of idiotic in a way that he refuses to kill anyone, even those who hurt, ens*aves or downright kill others. Female character seems to flock towards MC, falling for him for simple things like him helping them and stuff. Well, this is a more to guilty pleasure read, dont go in expecting too much and dissapointing yourself then ranting about this and that. <<less

A little episodic, most times each arc start out the exact same way in the bar. The whole MC hears all the good things people say about him every freaking time thing is rather annoying honestly, would be a lot more effective if the MC thought his fade into the background plan was working and the author shifted viewpoints to do the praising and people knowing it's him.

But for all that it is fun to read. As much as I love heroes defeating the demon lord, it's been so done... more>> to death that this is a fun take on it. And I enjoyed the main 4 characters and their dynamic with each other.

Expect the usual soft harem schtick of the MC never making moves on any of the girls and being the blind/s*upid/no balls combo. Not one of those where he has a solid reason not to chase the two he's most interested in. <<less

It is an interesting fantasy story.

I hope that there will be a manga or anime for this story, though the chance is small.

The male lead looks great to be a support when it can be said that he is the only leader.

Cute story, slice of life with a strong MC who wants to live in the shadows...

Nothing stands out really: it's not bad, the harem is cute, the translation is good.
But it lacks that little something that would have made it great.
