It’s a fluffy slice of life. MC is too OP for angst. It’s focuses mainly about the sweet romance between MC and ML. There’s a sprinkling of cooking, farming, business management, palace intrigue, and war but doesn’t really go deep into anything in particular. So don’t go in expecting any in-depth plot on any of these elements.

ML’s got a pretty standard, annoying, villainous family but the couple literally doesn’t care about them which is a nice change of pace to face slapping, revenge drama (so don’t read if you’re looking... more>> for that). In fact, all the characters that are against the couple get that same reaction: being treated like annoying flies that don’t warrant any major emotional fluctuation.

I’m not quite sure how I feel about the
Spoiler

space/time traveling. I suspect it’s there to enforce the feeling that the two were fated to be together but I don’t think it added anything to the plot and like a random added power/event.

if you lot just wanna enjoy fluff with fictional child (ren) and basically dont give much f about plot whatsoever just read this. I finish this so fast mtl the heck in one go. Since I enjoy ancient times more than modern so I love this so much. One day id be thinking about... more>>

i bet thats all about it. MC is so relatable. I luv how the author writes, respect.

also I read another story by this author 'Six years after we broke up, my boyfriend and his children appeared at the door of my house (Entertainment Circle) ' this one also fun if you want nonsense fluff modern + showbiz which is basic but honestly mindless to read (hurts at first tho). I read for fun idgaf about plot whatsoever I just want to see mpreg n farther + children stuff.

anyway I just wanna bump this low rating coz maybe some people out there just like me needing mpreg mostly just bc irl children meh. <<less

The novel is not bad, the problem is that it doesn't seem to have a purpose. The ML, for example, is a reincarnated person who went back in time to the era when he was still a disabled wheelchair user. He often mentions the martial arts that he learned in his past life, in which this martial art has a defect that shortens the life of the user to 30 years of age. But nothing happens. Even after the MC healed his legs, which were broken and did not heal... more>> properly, the ML does nothing. The author always seems to promise something in the narrative and does not deliver anything. Whenever the story seems to be going in one direction, the author changes his mind! The novel has no purpose at all. All that happens is the cultivation of tea and plants in winter that should not grow in this season of the year, and that is the focus of the novel, which was not even well developed <<less

This piece felt more like a slice of life fluff piece. There was no true climax and end point. All the plot points I thought would result in something never did. Very tepid stuff.

However if you're into romance and fluff with family life, it's a cute story to read. And the backstories make for some interesting moments (such as how the MC reacts to things).

Giving this a 5/5 to boost the rating a bit.

This is a pretty light novel, that does start out pretty confusing and rough in the first few chapters. As one reviewer put it, there seems to be some sections that are missing because the flow of the story from chapter to chapter feels weird sometimes. But be assured that this is still a complete story and still very readable.

This is tagged Slice of Life, and the focus is more on the MC and ML going through their married life together,... more>> and having kids. Plot is almost incidental at certain points lol.

While the story itself isn't perfect and there were things that weren't tied up at the end, I still found myself enjoying this. I loved MC and eventually the ML. Loved their kids and the extras to the point I wished we had more.

This story has a little of almost everything: a dash of farming, some good ol' family drama face slapping, some business management, some martial arts, some political intrigue, some ancient warfare, a whole lot of fluff and MC's OPness

I do understand why some rated this low, because while it does have a lot of things going on, nothing is really maxed-out or accomplished to fullness to be satisfactory, besides the happy family aspect.

examples: the farming thing is more like "oh here's some stuff that could be beneficial" but doesn't go full-on focused just on farming. Which is understandable since MC and ML are just citizens of the empire.

The ancient warfare thing-- while the ML talks about his first life as a military dude, it doesn't really lead to anything after the arc about the war is finished.

Also, as some mentioned, the ML's storyline seemed like it was left unfulfilled, but I took it more like he gave up any sort of goals or ambitions to just be as carefree and focused on living a life being a family man.

Give this a chance if you're looking for something pretty light and fluffy to read. <<less

Novel has fun and fluff moments but it lacks the general direction of what the ML's main goal upon reincarnating and going back in time. He really didn't have martial arts anymore, and MC's goal is just to live a good life which was achieved much early on.

The story is fine. Nothing to write home about.

Overall I just liked the premise, so I started reading. I wouldn't call it a complete waste of time, but it's definitely not that entertaining. The text reads pretty dryly, with very little details and just things happening. The characters are pretty flat as well, there's not a lot of character development and very few ups and downs. While I don't appreciate overly dramatic texts, some tension in the story would have made the story more enjoyable. Instead, the MC is incredibly... more>> way too OP.

ML's insanely dumb villain family just acts like your typical dumb villain family as well. I did like that the initial misunderstanding between the MC and ML didn't last too long, but after that, there was nothing to keep me interested in the story anymore.

Also, the translation is MTL, and the translator probably used a free (txt) file of the story that doesn't have the full text. Most of the chapters have big chunks missing, like 50% of the chapter. When the author upgraded her story to VIP status partway, big chunks of the chapter content are locked. They're not in the translation by Clown & Co. <<less
