If you want to know why he is obsessed with Rose (FL) then just go to chapter 19-23 then go back to the end of chapter 3 :shrug: Just saying so the rest of chapters 4-18 the ML won't look THAT empty going after the FL. OR Just go to ML Spoiler below.

First of all she has lived 2 lives, apparently in her first life she died around her mid 20s bumping her head into the edge of her desk and dead. She has also read the novel she sometimes mentions how the original FL, Sierra felt about her s*xual contract with the ML and her thoughts of how she fell in love with ML (original story). So how is it that after the ML repeats the same lines of the OG story to her does she not realize that he might have feelings for her or that she replaced the heroine role!?! The ML, Llewellyn directly tells her how beautiful, lovely, how cute she is but she still for 1 second doesn't think "Does he like me?" Facepalm. He even told her repeatedly you are my first and she later on ask him, "Have you slept with other women?" Brain dead. In the original novel she read she already knows that he is pure before he met the OG FL so I still don't understand why she said that. Oh yeah cuz he's too good in bed? LOL Okay cuz even before their first night he says another line from the OG novel "I studied hard" about intimacy with a woman and she knows what that means cuz after he says it she thinks back to the novel. She is also so absent minded that she doesn't even know that her life was in danger so many times.

Rose overthinks to the MAX she goes through 5 different thoughts to end up with, "but he will end up with the FL so..." when you get tired of reading that same thought over and over for 15 chapters. She is the definition of DENSE protagonist.

I like him because he still has a villain's aura but he still shows loyalty to his sister/family. Rose, even though she is dumb at times :shrug: made Adrian grow up much calmer then the original story line so I appreciate that. He is overprotective of her but later on we find out the reasons why he is so protective. Rose since the age of 2 has had 30+ LIFE THREATNING accidents and because of this he grew stronger than the original story. He needed to level up his magic faster in order to keep his sister alive! Facepalm moment is when Rose herself forgets that these events happened to her. It's not that she has amnesia of these events it's just that she is so absent minded/brain dead she didn't see them as life threatening until her brother finally tells her straight to her face how childish she's being (It's when she starts whining that he is too overprotective). He is also sharp in situations he knows straight away when Rose is lying about things. Later we also find out that he and his father are trying to find the whereabouts of his mother and they suspect his mother's family plus Duke's (ML's) family are behind it. I find him hilarious when he keeps rejecting the Duke's letter and marriage proposal for his sister. Either way I find him more interesting but that's just my preference ⁄ (⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄) ⁄ .

This one will be short. The male lead of this story is 'meh'. He is the typical obsessive lover only thing is I wish the author would've added more story/depth of how he fell in love with Rose. When he was 12/13? years old his parent's died and on his birthday he decided to run away to spend some time alone since he felt suffocated by all the nobles sending letters. He gets on a train heads south to see the beach but sneaks into FL's summer villa, sees her falls in love at first sight and runs back home. That's it. He doesn't even have 1 conversation with her but becomes very obsessed to the point were he calls himself her dog.

but now she knows lol in ch30-31 and he is madly in love with her I was all smiles when I found out that he directly sent a request to andrian to marry her when he didn't get any response and I wanna see a chapter with andrain pov and about their mother

She succeeds but at the cost of possibly turning him into a yandere/sister-obsessed brother.

ML falls in love first. FL tries to resist, but at chapter 23, her resolve is already breaking down quite fast. The romance could be cute. It’s a bit superficial right now.

Also the original heroine of the story hasn’t appeared yet.
