My first comment ever on this site. This was weirdly a decent read. The start was pretty cringe, mainly because of the mc's s*upidness and his actions. And the explanation that he didn't lose hope after getting cucked by these villainess because the system "wiped out his despair" was just weird. Oh yeah MC is actually in a Reverse Harem story where he tried to win the villainess of the story. These aren't heroines of the story. So whoever wrote the synopsis got it wrong.

For someone reason, after that mind... more>> numbing introduction, the story pretty much becomes what I expected in a good way. It says in the lane of main character trying to win these villainess back just to betray them but this time he has the cheat of being handsome or whatever. The main character puts up the good romantic guy act convincingly and suddenly doesn't have the cringe inner monologues he had at the start.

I also disagree with the user kilol. I actually like that the MC still puts up the act of a good guy when rejecting these villainess. In theory it sounds lame but when actually reading it, it would have been even more stranger if the MC suddenly did a 180 and went full edge lord mode. Also the pov of the these villainess getting really nervous and excited to confess, just for them to get rejected; is written with so much fun over-dramaticness that I even end up feeling bad for a moment.

For these type of novels, this starts out really bad but becomes surprisingly decent. A solid 4/5 by tr*shy novel standard. <<less

This story is bad in a couple of very unfortunate ways.

The root issue is with the MC. After experiencing getting c**ked and committing s**cide through multiple regressions he unlocks "easy mode", which is by design intended to be pretty much plot armor given form as a skill. His first and final goal after being given full reign of his destiny is to get his previous gf waifus in each previous timeline to say that they like him... That's it.

Okay, that's cool, I like revenge novels. Maybe since he... more>> had such vitriol and cruelty done to him in his previous lives he would use his new found skills to make them feel the same crushing despair that drove him to k*ll himself previously... Nah, in fact after he gets them to confess to him it's always one of the softest rejections I've ever read with an after thought of, "Now it's time for you to find yourself a better man then I."

Well okay, maybe it's a regret novel which would be fine, but this guy is intentionally going after each girl. It's made very clear that the girls aren't attracted to him by happenstance or that he's already moved on. This guy is constantly plotting and scheming to get these people to like him and confess. The system he's stuck with even gave him the goal of, "Finding True Love" which, I've skimmed some of the later chapters, he's completely ignored.

So he's definitely in it for some kind of revenge, but his reaction to each confession is so ungratifying and limp that it really make me hate the MC more than any of the girls.

Spoiler

Speaking of which, after each confession the girls have their memories restored of the previous timelines. Both times this has happened it's mentally collapsed the psyche of the girl. I really don't know why. They seem to view both MCs from the previous and current timeline as equally attractive in different ways, but for some reason knowing what happened previously suddenly turns them homicidal, killing the person they cheated on the MC with. If anything I don't get why the memories wouldn't just make them more inclined to get with their past lovers. Reeks of just having obsessive characters just to have them with no line of reasoning. Which is lame.

[collapse]

Like so many others premise is good, but the writing and characters are really bad. <<less

If you’re a fan of those “get what you deserve” plots where the female interest regrets leaving the MC, are you in for a treat. This is that concept refined and quintupled. The premise and execution have hit all the sweet spots that you would expect from this genre and I look forward to how each villainess’ storyline plays out.

The story is a simple concept but well written. Both the characters and the plot. Only problem is the main character and his behaviour at the beginning. It was very illogical to approach the fallen heroines. Okay at first, since it makes some sense, but afterwards I don't understand why he did the same 4 times. Why didn't he find a character who wasn't in the story or was just an extra. Because he could have easily avoided tragic endings and even fulfilled the mission of the system, since he... more>> only said that he was going to find love he didn't tie her to heroines, but he kept going there. But overall that was the problem for me the rest was absolutely well done. <<less
