I love MC's feistiness at the start. The part where he act like someone from prison. I wish he could have shown it more. Not just faded out.
I like that when they take revenge, it wasnt too much. They know when to stop and when it is enough.
I like that there were few antagonist who gave up being antagonist 😂 and just packed up and left.
Somethings doesnt sit with me right. Like how fast ML fell in love with MC. I dont know when, I just knew that he already has a realization.
How its like grooming. Or somehow it comes off like MC who lacks love and care on the previous life and craves it. Got showered with love and affection and care in this life. But after confessing, ML left to give MC a space to think. But its more like taking MC's brand of cravings away from him after he's indulged in it. Making him wants it more. Letting him just give in and yah, okay let's date. Then just wash it down to be like MC slowly falling in love.
And also, how MC brushed off the fact that his father wasnt by his side because of some stup*d promise. This is a potential ladder material for MC and ML's love development.
Both their dads are pretty scummy.
Over all, pretty nice chill read.
This novel is full of twisted love. Which makes it weird and interesting for me.
They love a person, but they are the ones who hurt them the most. Its just so.. Hopeless. Smh.

(For these two below, I know they are pretty much an antagonist, but I cant help but be sad for them..)
Liu Yu's motherly love to Liang Zixiu is not enough to overcome the pain of losing her 1st child and betrayal of her husband. But deep inside she loved him like a son. But its all too late.
Liang Zixiu's love for Lui Yufen, LZ was not a good person. He hurt her. But he really did love LY. But, again its all too late.
I also the fact that the main CP knew where to direct their anger on; not saying that the others don't but there were a few times where innocents also got involved. There are many more things I liked in this novel when it came to characters but it will be spoiler territory so I won't say anything. P.S: I wished that the 2nd ML had a better ending 🥺 I loved him P.P.S: I hate that the 2nd ML Syndrome exists! (*꒦ິ⌓꒦ີ)
I liked the side couples more. Guan bowen x he long better. I mean the age gap romance there is more morally and ethically acceptable. Their interactions were more interesting. They gave me personality with those little extra chapters than the main cp did on the main story
