I found myself transmigrating as a Time-Limited Guide in a Tragic novel, who suddenly died.

At a time when the protagonist’s life was already challenging in its second act, I’m just a minor character who only adds to the anxiety.

Because of excessive use of my abilities, I’m living a life with an expiration date, just like in my previous life.

But so what?

This is the bonus stage of a life that was always so unlucky.

Now that things have come to this, I might as well turn this bleak story into a romantic comedy and play Cupid for my favorite characters.

So I devoted the remaining six months of my life to this.

I finished quitting my job and tidying up my affairs and quietly left the side of those I loved.

“Mr. Yang Heewoon, this is a miracle!”

“……What?”

“All your organs are functioning normally. You’ve made a complete recovery.”

The illness that was supposed to take my life was cured.

…Completely cured.

It's a good novel to pass time for me because it's kind of cliche and the plot was sometimes predictable.

I don't think MC is dumb, but he is surely impulsive in his actions. Also he wears his emotions on his sleeve, he's so readable at times but oblivious to how his actions affects others.

I'm a sucker for self sacrificing and MC is kind of like that. I do think his actions, thoughts and words don't align.

It's not like he wanted to change the plot but wanted everything for og bottom... more>> to be better and won't suffer what he went through in the novel. He's a fan, he's doing what a fan would, but he's also in Yang Heewon's body, that's dying, needed money and also had a responsibility that's why he needed lots of money.

And honestly the OG Yang Heewon is so pitiful I would say. He's doing all he can so he can get money for that responsibility that he got cause that might be the only reason he's alive and kept going. (His responsibility is a child btw, just read it)

He was a fan of the Novel and loves the characters in it. He wanted to change the 3 OG TOP so they can be considerate and gentle to the bottom, Ye Eunsoo. He tried to fix them and in the process the 3 fell for him.

While the og bottom, Ye Eunsoo, is showing a tendency of being a yandere, or I would say he's a yandere already?

And by the time you reach ch22, you can tell he's a yandere or he's not the innocent bottom that Yang Heewon thought to be. Eunsoo already manipulated him at ch22

As Heewon thought that he'd die in six months, he's not really afraid of death. He doesn't care about himself, which also stems from his past life. Because of poverty and etc. In his past, he skipped meals and that became a habit that he brought to the current world. He was literally like "Oh I'm gonna die anyway, it doesn't matter if it hurts, I've endured worse than this, it's fine" But if Eunsoo got hurt? He's sad and throwing up, cant breath etc. He's emotional to all character as he loves them. But he really doesn't give a f about himself.

ch29 The situation just got worse and worse and truly traumatizing. It's really a freaking self sacrifice. Heewon's precious character is Eunsoo and the way the whole situation got to be, there's too many factors but Heewon's my baby he's blaming it to himself but Eunsoo is also blaming himself. Everyone's blaming themselves at this point. I wonder if it's gonna be tragic 😭

It's... hard to read. How do I say, I like what the story could say, about redemption and humanity. BUT, so much he/she fault, so much s*upidity and the MC... like you're reincarnated, ok, but do you kiss all the ML the first day you become one in your new body ? I know you need money, but why kill yourself for 2000$/month urgh I can't this MC, he's so s*upid... talk you f*cker ! express yourself !!

It took me a while to read the story because I kept debating whether to drop it or not. Although I did end up finishing it, I can't say it was an enjoyable experience. There were 3 things that set up this story to be an interesting one; the Esper-Guide setting, the possible harem and the MC's (Heewon) transmigration. Sadly, they were handled rather poorly in combination with the drawn out pacing.

If you're looking for a story where the MC gets the transmigrator buff and goes on action-packed adventures with... more>> the love interests, this is not it. Ironically, I can see how interesting the story could've been if he didn't transmigrate and interfere with the original storyline. His disappointing character arc was also a bit hard to stomach. Rather than strong-willed and self-sacrificing, he was more foolish and reckless. This is a spoiler, but my no.1 reason for not liking the MC is:

His thoughtless actions in changing the original plot and interacting with the MLs and the OG MC was centered on the belief he won't live long anyway, thus escaping consequences if things go wrong. This is something he also admitted to himself.

There were extensive developments with each love interest. Though after the MC is healed, the endgame was pretty obvious. Basically, the multiple romantic developments that lasted 80+ chapters were scrapped. There is an R19 IF Side Story where the MC is in a harem with the three MLs, but the fact that the author even wrote it just supports the idea that almost half the novel ended up for nothing.

Yes, the MC is s*upid. And the latest chapter I’ve read clearly laid it out. So, Eunsoo leaned in for a kiss (he’s 19 and 20 is legal age in korea) to the MC. Thankfully, he said no (questioning Eunsoo’s age), yet in his mind, he was debating if he should’ve kissed him? He said that it was just once and he wanted to try kissing him. Mind you, he thinks of him as his child. He also says that he doesn’t want to a bad adult so he refuses to do so. Clearly, his instincts override his rationality because who would think that they should try kissing someone they think of as a child? Just because, he finds him handsome?

Other than that, I like Rex’s overall character development compared to others, but he has problematic takes. And I’m fine either way who ends up other than Eunsoo (I only see forced romance here with an adult and a child).

All in all, if you like s*upid MCs, go for it. Personally, I would skip any intimate scenes related to Eunsoo and I’ll continue only for the other three male leads.

So, the MC can be a little s*upid the whole time. He focuses hard on the original story while also trying to change it. But for almost the whole thing he really doesn't connect the changes he made to maybe the story not ending up like the book.

While the endgame might be disappointing to some, it really does show the growth of all the characters. The ML is still very codependent but has left behind his crazy obsessive impulses. They both decide to live for each other instead of dying for each other.

There are many pronoun mistakes in the translation but that's just something you kinda expect reading these so it was easy for me to gloss over.

But it was a fun afternoon of reading for me. <<less

Okay I don't think I can continue reading. It does start good with the interesting summary and a possible harem (which is really my favorite). But then I became suspicious around 20 or more chapter. I don't think it will be harem. And I can already guess who is the ML. So then I started to go back to here to read review from other people. And well my suspicion is confirmed.

But I still want to read more. But well I have to stop at this chapter because...

I can't stand the MC anymore. The character development is so tr*sh. The MC looks smart but actually a fool. I'm okay if MC is innocent but his ML is dominant. But unfortunately ML is younger and at this time doesn't really have power. MC just spoiled the ML too much just because he is younger and have tragic past.
