[The manhua translation (ch 11) stops at around chapter 6-7 of the novel. Since I started with the manhua first, I thought this might help]

The first few chapters were quite cringey and exaggerated but it gets better later on.

I felt like the chapters mentioning their past were more interesting and bareable hah I actually liked them a lot.

They're kind of fun, albeit mentioning stuff about bullying and such. They get together and was there for each other, and with the band too.

The present ML is often described as a chunnibyou, but I'd say he's more of a tsundere? That or a child with anger issues.

The MC is nice. He deals with a lot more than he has to.

There were a few side characters, most of which I liked. They're alright.

The characters are like 27?? years old?? It really doesn't feel... accurate? But whatever.

The author often mentions LOTUS, which a lot of people might not get, but they're a band (?) from their (untranslated) other work. I like that they're like in the same universe.

They also used a few western references, like how West Wind is from the 'Ode to the West Wind, ' and such.

And the songs too, I think most of them were western songs, which is really rare, but definitely a welcomed surprise imo.

All in all, it's an okay read, only around 100 chapters too. Give it a go if you're bored.

If by 15 chapters (or more) you still don't like it, it's just not for you. <<less
