Be prepared as this diamond is definitely very sharp and cruel, it’ll cut your heart deeply and you’ll shed litters of tears. The way that author narrates this book is quite unusual as what meet us chapter after chapter is the story that the outcome we know from the very beginning.
This is not an easy story and not an easy book. Politics, schemes, hatred, love, betrayal, bravery, plots and mistakes committed out of emotions... This is a love story of two brilliant man... love means everything here and yet the plot is as wide as a sky and covers so many topics and subplots that I sometimes felt that is more of a political and military book. Yet Duke Fang’s and Childe Wushuang’s story will show you the shapes of love that you’ve never know existed. A multilayered story with complicated characters.
Do not expect a quick and easy read with a smooth and steamy romance. This love is not like that. This love is mostly an emotional connection between two equal man. Two man that found this bond to be the only thing that they could cherish in this dirty, messy and lonely world.
But this world is not letting them go... there is no easy choices... but some of them no matter how hard and painful must have been done....
