I just wanna give our MC a bucket of trophies for her patience....

The ML seriously creeps me out. He has a severe borderline personality disorder. Parts of it can clearly be seen in their transmigration arcs in ML's works. He became very obsessive with MC that he imprisoned her numerous times in some arcs. But if you think he's bad enough there...

Spoiler

Wait until the last arc where MC finally met ML in the real world. He basically destroyed any single thing she liked and kept her away from the people close to her. He sent people to monitor her every move before they even met, and he slept in his car parked outside MC's apartment after they met. He flooded her apartment so that she would live with him. What a nutjob. Creepy yandere.

[collapse]

Seriously, MC deserves the biggest reward there is for being in a relationship with ML.

The character settings and growth (only MC and ML unfortunately) are good, but I've taken two stars off because there are too many plot holes, illogical details, grammatical errors (in raws), and stereotyping of people with mental disorders here. It's clear that the author didn't do enough research, or even trying to understand the main elements of the plot to begin with.

Spoiler

In one arc, ML have disassociative identity disorder (multiple personalities) and the author solved it by having ML go to a brain surgery to 'fuse' the personalities. If that's not silly enough, it's said that doctors can choose which personalities to remove from ML. With only one surgery, all psychologycal symptoms could magically disappear immediately. If there were really such a thing, people wouldn't even need therapist. It's s*upid, really, and clearly the author didn't do any research on it.

Not to mention a psychiathrist who broke his confidentiality aggreement on his patient's case easily and aimed to destroy a relationship of someone who is clearly obsessed with his lover. Like how did this guy even get his license?

[collapse]

Overall, a nice read to pass time, but please read with caution. One's IQ may regress by reading this. <<less

Hi! I'm InfiniteCloud, the second translator and the current one.

I really like this novel because though there are some common tropes found in this type of novel, it's also somewhat of a breath of fresh air in some aspects.

There is a common ML is domineering/possessive trope, but the ML is shown to grow and get over his yandere traits. That's part of why I like this novel, because the ML actually sort of gets over it, and it's not a one sided relationship nor is there Stockholm syndrome. He's never... more>> really too overboard and usually there are background reasons for why he is like that.

It's also a pretty equal relationship, I'd say, as the FL is shown to be pretty autonomous. She also can tell if something in their relationship is toxic and will keep that in mind. She's also a very kind and driven individual.

Quite a few funny misunderstandings arise though. Both characters have somewhat low EQ's lol, though in different ways.

Spoiler

The ML has various personality problems due to his background, though they change depending on the world. He thinks too much into what the FL says. Like in the first arc she called him thin when she was pulling his pants down to see his birthmark and then he thought she disliked his figure. And he proceeded to have a good figure for the rest of the arc lol

FL on the other hand is oblivious to the impacts of her words sometimes though, and she occasionally chooses to be blind to certain things because she doesn't want to face them. I feel like this makes her more human as she has that sort of denial, you know? Like, denial or rejection due to cognitive dissonance. She's not s*upid, she just doesn't want to think about it. I think she doesn't want to get too entangled and wants to complete the mission quickly.

These make for good angst and a lot of cuteness.

[collapse]

Also, this isn't much of a spoiler because it's very obviously stated to the reader, but

Spoiler

the ML is the same person in all the worlds because he's actually the author. The reader's grudges made him bound too, so that he transmigrated in various book worlds as the villain so that he can experience their pain. He was assigned a rescuer, the FL, who's mission is to make the ML happy in all the worlds. He gets his memory wiped at the end of every world before he goes into the next world though.

[collapse]

If you like character development, scenes that will pull on your heartstrings, and great interactions, then this is the novel for you! It is fluffy and angsty and basically a whole roller coaster of emotion.

Edit: So I've been reading this and... I feel like for me it's more of a 4 star read because although it's pretty good, it's a bit more on the lighter side? I feel. It's definitely not like, a 5 star read like perhaps "Miao Miao Miao" and "My Disciple Died Yet Again" were for me, but it's pretty good so far. Maybe it'll get deeper later on, but for now it's a 4 star. I'm keeping my rating a 5 star though because I want to balance out the multiple 1 stars, which I definitely don't feel this novel deserves. <<less

I'm so ambivalent about this novel because there were some really fantastic arcs, some really boring and mediocre ones, and then some that started off sweet and cute and then took a 180 degrees turn and became either WTF or just lackluster.

The following are the arcs that I can remember (not in chronological order) and my personal ratings:

Spoiler

Princess x standoffish scholar: boring. The arc spent a lot of time focusing on the other men in the princess' house and not so much the ML.

Two high schoolers in the apocalypse: this started off so cute and then took a less than fun turn when the ML became a zombie. However, the sweet ending made up for it somewhat.

Normal woman x abused and disabled street urchin: this one too started off cute and then a random 10 year time skip turned the tsundere ML in a straight up yandere.

Palace girl x eunuch: this was one of my least favourite arcs and the arc right before the real world arc because the ML was deluded into thinking the FL was trying to kill him and thus tried to make her life miserable for most of the arc.

High school transfer student x bullied nerd: my absolute favourite arc! This arc made me so regretful because after I read this I kept thinking about how much better the ML would be if the FL had met him while he was younger and corrected his twisted world views.

Maid x sickly young master: this one wasn't bad. The young master started off kind of annoying but he made tremendous growth with FL's guidance. I think this arc was one of the few were the ML didn't try to restrain the FL's freedom.
Tutor x CEO with multiple personalities: I don't know how accurate this arc was at portraying schizophrenia but I really loved this arc! The four personalities all distinctive and hilarious and watching the FL trying to juggle them all was a treat.
Real world: I was worried at the start of the arc that the ML would be batsh*t crazy irl but he got better with treatment.

well you should read it if you like yanderes, cos if you still read it expecting non-yandere stuff then you'd be disappointed. If you feel like the ML is being creepy then you should know yanderes aren't supposed to be non-creepy or normal in the first place. The ML's moral values are not normal, he's a whole ass yandere

The ML progressively gets better and tries getting over his yandere tendencies for the FL, and has never hurt FL badly or physically in any way since he cares way too much... more>> for her.

The FL's job is to help the 'villains' wash off their grievances and help them achieve happiness, the FL's personality is in line too, she's smart, has high tolerance and patience which goes hand in hand with the way she deals with the ML, she could honestly write a yandere 101 with the way she handles/coaxes him. Don't expect her to cry or be scared, she'll instead take the lead. The endings of the arcs weren't bad too and felt complete.
All in all its a fun read and shouldn't be taken too seriously. <<less

It was a fairly short QT about a very level-headed and patient MC that is trying to save the novels' villain (ML), a completely psychotic and possessive person. The yandere-ness of the ML cannot be underestimated and from the very first arc, the novel would already give you a peek of how yandere the ML can be.

Spoiler

I'd like to think of the first arc as the introductory arc that presents the mature and sincere personality of the MC and the creepy possessiveness of the ML. It exposes you to how eerie and terrible the ML is (re: locking her up). Still you get to appreciate how easy the MC calmed down and tried to understand the ML's actions with this arc. Though at first, I really didn't think that the MC really fell for the ML in the first world (but apparently she really did even tho he was really creepy and pe*verted).

The MC remembers what happens in every world while the ML only remembers everything when the world is finally over. During the 2nd arc, the MC hesitated on falling for the novel's villain since she feels as if she is cheating if she falls in love with the villain in every novel. At the end of the second arc, she noticed the ML move so she started having doubts.

I think that was during the fourth arc (the four personalities one) that she really determined that all the novels' villains are just one person and he traverses with her. They also started having really short interactions before the world ends (like the ML just kissing MC or giving her warnings). After that, MC fully admitted that she loves ML and became even more tolerant to ML no matter how twisted his role was. Tho rest assured that the ML really didn't do really terrible stuff after arc 1.

As what other reviewers said, real life ML is batsh*t psychotic but he couldn't bear to hurt MC so he cooperated with his treatment. He gradually became okay and even during when he wasn't okay yet, the MC understood him and even felt distressed for him and loved him even more. She did get accidentally pregnant by ML but ML accepted their baby because it was a proof that MC is fully his. He was such a doting father to their daughter that the MC even got a bit jealous lol.

I think the MC really fits ML well. She wasn't like a perfect person nor does she have the thoughts of saving everyone or being a saint. She was also a very jealous person and her possessiveness to the ML would've probably rivaled the ML's possessiveness to her if there were women surrounding the ML lol. There genuinely is no third party in this novel nor in the arcs so there's less drama. It was more about how the MC helped the ML get better with all his mental problems.

[collapse]

I liked this novel a lot since as a reader myself, there were quite a lot of novel villains that you couldn't help but be sad for. Like they're unnecessarily tragic even though something could've been done to prevent the villain's blackening. So this novel kind of eased that kind of grievance. Even villains deserve to have true love after all. <<less

The MC thinks that everything will be okay if she's sincere in her feelings towards the ML. She doesn't care about whether or not she's betrayed his trust before, as long as she's sincere this time he should believe her. It's really s*upid and the MC is an idiot.

wtf novel is this

worth binge read

one of my best novels

Spoiler

the story started of really good. The MC helped the ML get his operation done. This include a lot of sweet moments, stubbornness of the ML and persistence of the MC. I love how they progressed their relationship little by little with everyday matters. I liked how the author maintained the brotherly nature of the original ml. I almost ship them (bl).

when the 10 years passed, I was so tensed it made me fret over "how is she gonna face him now". However I really find MC courageous on this part. However after that the genre seemed to be changed to that of a horror drama. At some point I really thought that it was a corpse.

however when I got to know what's inside the room it melted my heart that I rolled in my bed until I calm down. Suddenly I really very much liked the MC who trusted him blindly.

then it was once again a somewhat love hate relationship. It was amazing to note how come the author find such amusing ways to strengthen their relationship while still creating misunderstandings and helping ML with his trauma.

[collapse]

this one is what made me dumfounded :

Spoiler

i originally didn't like the fact that the FL will be paired together with different men from different worlds (as I figured it out from the summary). That's why I always felt reluctant for reading these type of novels (if not for quarentine). However its just that the ML is also gonna be the same person with memory loss. This is such a simple solution and thats what stuck me hardest (ok it might not be a simple solution as I sure that the author must have killed a good amount of brain cells to plan this out).

This is a well-written world hopping novel. MC is not a dull and one dimension character. She has her flaws and her quirks. I especially like how she's very patient, but whenever she gets drunk, all her grievances pour out. ML had to take care of her drunken mess. ML also has good characterization. The author did not pattern the ML to be just a packaged yandere. The author gave the ML a personality. However, he's truly a yandere so keep that in mind.

Unlike other world hopping novels where the... more>> love between MC and ML is so easy to reach the happy ending, this one has a proper plot wherein you can actually read how their feelings developed. One arc where I really got frustrated with the romantic plot is the one with immortals (master-apprentice roles), while my favorite are is the one with school life theme. The ending is so nicely tied up and makes you feel fulfilled. <<less

The male and female MC have a cute and colourful love interactions thoroughout the different lifes. Eventhough ML is supposed to be a yandere, and he is, but he is not 'despicable' and do not harm MC (too much) but actually really cherish her. However, if you actually love dark and dangerous ML that give you the tingles I think you won't get it from here because (for me) the despair of MC is what make a dangerous yandere delicious but since MC never despaired there's none of that tingling... more>> feeling. So for my level this is pretty cute and the bright and lovable MC with the low self esteem ML is just a really good combination.

Ps I don't know why but author has a vomit fetish since MC always vomit at least once per arc. <<less

I wanted to give a 3.5 ratings.

Some arcs are definitely good one. But some I rather find making me feel rrally uncomfortable and disturbed by some sudden turn of events and character of the MC and ml. I even skipped some arcs completely when I cannot stomach the flow.

Thankfully the last part in the real world wasnt that disappointing.

I would recommend this to masochists, people who likes dog blood, angst, sadist. I cannot give this a fluffy feeling since the ML has a mental illness that makes him like... more>> a uhm- something that would make you hate and kove at the same time. <<less

I forgot I read this, read it again, and it's still as cringey the second time around. Very possessive ML, MC is... forgettable. She doesn't babble and make soft wu wu noises when things don't go her way, but she's also not what I'd call interesting.

I appreciate the work from the translators but this just wasn't for me.

I like this QT story. Each arc is short and fast paced. Each story has its own uniqueness and twist. No uber killing, plotting, extra characters or dogfighting in every corner like other stories.

Yeah, FL and ML are both tasker while FL remembers everything as she goes world hopping, the ML only remember, when FL completes her task and was about to disappear, The ML would then anticipates meeting her on the next world. Im only at chapter 70 so.. Im looking forward to finishing this

Spoiler

the ML turns out to be the writer of the story who got cursed by the system and had to live as the villain with his memory sealed. It took me from immersion and I immediately stopped reading there because I knew I would be unable to focus.

It's a simple twist but it took away all of my immersion. It feels very forced and out of place, the author seemed like she didn't think first before putting that piece of information at the end of the first arc and it took away my desire to continue

Hey, I wasn't sure about my rating for this novel, but I liked the conclusion.

So MC has a lot of patience towards ML, sometimes I almost hated him but it wasn't his fault (completely) and he also suffered the most in the books and real life. The real world part was good, family time its the best n_n it's nice to know that FL and ML finally have a normal/complete family, a warm home and, ofc, love.

It was good! Our MC is kinda level headed, very grown up in thinking unlike our MC with his childish yandere trait. I called it ‘childish’ because he almost cannot comprehend the term ‘consideration’, he might not even have this word in his dictionary. But, As long as you can tolerate fiction yandere trait, this should be an enjoyable read. I won’t be able to tolerate it in RL tho.

Honestly, I might read too little novels about yandere ML, but this is really the first time reading the novel with... more>> ML which I can actually feel his ‘craziness’. Usually the MLs were only the usual possessive with bits of crazy antics but also with plenty of sweetness, although this one has plenty of sweetness, his possessiveness was also kinda overboard. But it’s enjoyable read nonetheless. The author’s writing was good.

Spoiler

but maybe I can’t read through to the end, the RL arc (the last one) is kinda too much for me. His possessiveness and craziness is kinda exploded. I thought his avatars in the novel worlds were sick enough, but they actually don’t hold a candle to the real person lol. Kinda admire the MC for being able to trying to understand and made him compromise

this is my favorite qt novel. Well I agree with a bunch of other reviews saying that some arcs were boring, I did skip some of them (i used MTL). I think if you have read the first arc and enjoyed it or is okay with it, then you should go on!

for some, the ML may be too obsessive and so on but actually he changes himself for the MC.

Spoiler

in the real world, he went to treat his condition with the therapist and he became very obedient to the MC as well! I liked how when the MC found out his possesiveness and yandere tendencies towards her she tried her best to talk it out and accept him as who he is, I think this really helps in the ML becoming less paranoid lol.

[collapse]

Certainly I think the MC played a big part in their relationship as well, its really good overall there are not much other side characters except maybe for MC's best friend in the real world.

Spoiler

who later we found out was transmigrated into the book as well, she ended up wanting to live inside the novel, so she leaves our MC to be with her sweetheart.

It's overall a really good book and I just love how the relationship between the two develops in every arc. I recommend this to yandere lovers lol, a really good gem. <<less
