Plot set up

I get the set up of protagonist transmigrating into the body of SQ. But the fact that the original SQ became a cannon fodder for protagonist to reverse 'her' situation and shine rubbed me off in wrong way. She was really in a helpess and desperate situation which was rather sensitive. And how she came so far enduring everything. But all her struggles and silent suffering became a spring board for the so called EVER OPTIMISTIC AND DAZZLING AND RIGHTEOUS AND BRAVE protagonist to shine.

Like it felt so hypocritical as people started seeing SQ stand up and become brave and transform into gentle, optimistic and strong woman considering the fact that she wasn't she in the first place. All the inner struggle, helplessness, getting hate by audience and people poof! Blown into nothing.

{Like I get it these type of plot set up are common but it would have been really nice and wonderful to see if SQ had been the protagonist and how she overcame her difficulties, getting motivated or inspired or helped by someone or by any setting and made her way in her career.}

She never went through what SQ had suffered and and without any cautiousness she decided to act upon. She would have done for if her photos would have been stored in multiple places. She is really brainlessly aggressive and impulsive.

And the setting of removing her existence completely from her family's memories is good and bad. Good for them to prevent suffering, bad for protagonist as no one remembers her

—She rushed right into her (Qiao Qiao's) house. In. As in inside so of course gurl you're a trespasser. Even if you excuse yourself as a friend. That was so stoopid.

—She's originally a fan and the original Shen Qiao and ML doesnt have any kind of relationship besides using and being used for hype so idk where she had the cheek to act towards ML like that????????? And ML allowed her too??? OOC much.

—Without completely understanding her (Shen Qiao's) current situation, she d+ng PROVOKED her tr*sh manager right f^ck-ng away.

Furthermore, it is one of the rare cases of transmigration that remains in the same world and on the same timeline. The conflict that our protagonist has in living close to her own family that no longer recognizes her and the affection she develops for OG's mother is touching.

I'm really sorry to say this but the original Sheng Qiao may not be able to turn the situation around at all.

• Her education is not up to par due to the hardships she faced. She was normal. Hence she would be ridiculed by many people if she tries to stand up no matter what she does. Until you have proved that you have absolute strength you can't shut them up.
• Her parents do not seem to give her a proper living environment which would obviously cause a psychological shadow on a child in High School, which is a very young age.
• No one with enough IQ would be able to bear 5 years of being taken advantage of no matter what kind of handle they have on you. It is tough to solve her problem, yes I agree. But not impossible. It was her choice to accept that kind of fate and no matter how innocent she is, at the end of day it was her choice to not change her status quo.
• Her living environment has made her loose all her confidence that she has which led her to living a life of forgetting the elephant in the room and carrying life on by living like a zombie who lost their soul.
• Let's say that she really did find a way to get out of her situation. She has not completed her high school and has not taken an exam for higher studies. There's no money at home. She still has to take care of her mother. In this situation where termination will only lead to her destruction, what other possibility did she have to change her situation if not to indulge in the dark side of society? Things could get her life ruined super fast.
• The original not having any acting skills could also be accounted to her experience of life. If you had something so heavy shackling you it is impossible to be in a mood to learn and improve. Mentality is key in this situation.

Well at least I read this story wanting the situation to turn around and it did. Just not by the original. If someone else had transmigrated into this situation it would be hard to cope with the situation. It was lucky that it was someone like Qiao Qiao is the conclusion I came to.

Be aware that there are many major plot holes which are left to our imagination. For example -what happened to Qiao Qiao, ML's background, Fu actress ending, what is up with Qiao's teacher, what about the original, any changes happened in the company the MC and ML left, ending of the villains are not clearly described etc.

As you go through the novel, you’d find that that most of the events have explanation or is a prelude to a future event. Plus, how is checking her house an impulsive action of someone who got “body swapped”? Or challenging the manager when she knows it’s the manager is on the wrong?

Only missing part is the why she body swapped, guess we’ll never know. But other than that, not much loose end
