I'll give this a four since this novel was my first ever anticipated Chinese novel in the past.

At first, I was excited to read a female lead who is so freaking badass and so knowledgeable. I love her adventures with her friends, pet, and also her 'lover' (which is so OP). She was a great character.

But then, it's started to get boring and quite tiring to read. I think on my last read I was on two thousand something (because I know that I bought a treat for myself when... more>> I pass 1000+. God, that was so long.). And then I started to ignore it.

Anyways, I wanna thank the translator for giving all of her/his efforts to this! <<less

I would rate this 4.5 stars.

It started out great and continued on towards the end. Unfortunately, near the ending of the story and within the final climax, things seemed a bit rushed. Maybe it was trying to stimulate a ‘climax’ sort of feeling, but to me, it felt a bit rushed.

Furthermore, in the extras, some stuffs were resolved while others were either resolved poorly or left hanging.

Spoiler

For example, the relationship between Yan Ye and Jun Qing seemed pretty random and the relationship between Fan Xi (Did I spell it right?) and Rong Ruo was left hanging despite a bit of the plot focusing on it before. I thought the relationship would come to a conclusion where they either get together or Rong Ruo firmly rejecting Fan Xi, but instead they continue their awkward relationship like before where Fan Xi having feelings for Rong Ruo while Rong Ruo is feeling “helpless”.

[collapse]

Either way, I enjoyed the novel, but it won’t be my personal favourite any time soon. <<less

Loved it. The MC stayed true to herself and friends. Really good plot. Liked the MC's journey towards being OP... the ML was also likeable and knew when to step back and let MC stay in charge... so I like him. Really good friendships and family times... really good translation and writing.

Thanks for translating this amazing book ?

I blitzed this book in three days and it was the best three days of my life!!!!

I'm a big fan of face slapping and revenge stories so this book was just down my lane. The MC is not op but works and suffers to get the power she has. There's love, loss, tragedy, romance the whole nine yards.

and to those that are saying that the ML is creepy and r*pey towards the beginning and abandoned the book because of it, well u missed out. He is a bit creepy towards... more>> the beginning but he was barely present for like 2000 chapters and with each interaction u can see both of them growing in their feelings and the creepiness reduce.

the end is just perfect. The only thing I regret is that I finished this before TGFNSYL because this seems to be book 2 in the shared universe. The way the books come together as well is perfection.

I'm currently reading all four of this authors bookS and the only thing I can do is just bow to their written world. The book is long but the satisfaction with it is immense. 300% recommend <<less

This novel has the same universe as ROTSFM and TGFNSYL and it really makes the whole setting of the previous two novels to a whole new level. I was fortunate to come across the 3rd novel in this series. Like the previous two novels this novel too as a good strong FL who is really strong. The side characters are also good. The character development is slow in this novel but once it picks up the pace then there is no looking back. Overall it is worth a 4.5/5. Kudos... more>> to both writer and translator for bringing such a fine novel to all readers. <<less

The plot progressively gets more and more boring and all in all pointless.

- Many people have covered this point before but I'll say it again. Everything strong just lands itself at her door step and is available at her disposal. She easily gets her hands on a powerful demon God, rare ancient beasts, artifacts etc etc.

- In the beginning half, MC is basically emotionally handicapped but it was fine because it was less annoying that way. She became tr*sh when she started understanding human emotions.

- Idc about any of this... more>> and I would've still continued reading this but one particular arc destroyed any good feelings I had for this book. So this really kind, naive girl falls for the MC who is constantly disguised as a guy and she mistook her as a guy as well. It was fine and amusing but suddenly this very sinister evil bit*h woman tortures the f*ck out of this woman by cutting off her right hand, caging her in a dungeon, having people gang r*pe her on a daily while her dad watched it helplessly and killed her mother. Idk why the author did her like that but I at least hoped for a satisfying end for the bit*h but her end was the least satisfying one I've ever read. The father was forced to betray MC to save his daughter and mother but later learns the mother was long dead and the father goes insane. So now the poor girl has lost both her parents, has severe PTSD, is extremely scared of males and has lost everything she had. But the MC forces her to continue leaving threatening to not treat her dad if she doesn't. Idk but the entire part where she yells at her and 'blackmails' her not to su*cide instead of slowly comforting her or letting her do whatever she wants to escape the trauma that will probably never fade did not sit well with me at all. The author tries to do some kinda awareness scene here but it was cringy and extremely pointless and actually quite nonsensical. I read further trying to forget this arc but it kept coming back to me so I couldn't. <<less

The first ever Webnovel I read. 5 stars aren't enough! It. Is. AWESOME. Don't hesitate, just go read!

MC is a genius genius genius, with high IQ en non-existent EQ. ML is devilishly charming. We are there through the whole process of them getting to know eachother and falling in love. During the process, MC goes from a s*upid vase to an extremely powerful existence. It takes some stumbling and some wiping out of the bad guys, but she does that handsomly, with amazingly intricate plans. The whole novel is like... more>> a puzzel, everything fits.

If there is one tiny, tiny, tiny negative point, it's too long. Plus right now it's on Webnovel, so it's expensive as well. <<less

One of the first novel I've read. Still had good memories of it. Don't know how I feel if I re-read it with a new mindset of reading over 100+ Chinese novel. But I am dumbfounded at how low the chapters are. It use to be over 1200+ where did it all go?

I remember it had 5/5 translation quality. Don't know about now though.

aight. That's my reaction. It was def an interesting read for the first arc though id hoped for better villains but since it was the first arc in thousands of chapters I was willing to set that aside. Second arc starts and I'm alrdy bored. It already feels repetitive. Love the writing style and the world is cool?!?. MC is smart but lacks personality, the only thing she has is being smart and ruthless. And sometimes her smart is just being insanely OP. Hate that so immma tap out now.

What I liked the best in this novel is that I didn't have to worry about them having misunderstandings especially due to third parties or meddlesome friends or family members. I just have to enjoy their journey and adventures even though their romance is slow. They were not together all the time but most of the time they were a team which was what I liked the most. Of course, Lord Jue is at the top ten of my all time favorite MLs.

This is a great novel- the gore, the romance, cultivation system, etc. Me and my weird tastes :/ I really like JWX; she’s ruthless, and she basically minds her own business unless someone provokes her. Then she basically goes sadistic.

JWY is the typical extremely handsome and powerful ML that can be found in practically every novel. Mysterious background? Check. Never had a lover in his entire life (1000+ years) ? Check.

All in all, a great novel in my opinion.

I love transmigration stories. I don’t mind reading other stories with the same plot, the same start, while waiting my fave stories to be updated.

This is my 4th attempt reading this. I ran out stories to read and some people recommended me this novel, DKC, and Godly thief. I stopped reading them after I reached C60 ish as I still can’t grasp the MCs characters. Too one dimensional. The b*tch-slapped moments people so proud of in these stories, You can find them in other stories as well, as they’re all... more>> have the same type of stories, so, nothing new, really.

I can’t find myself liking the MC, and her followers. Too boring. <<less

I read so many reviews that said it just gets worse. I had to drop this because as of now it's already so bad that I feel bad for liking it for a second. The plot is allover the place. At glance it seems very thrilling and interesting novel but that's just the surface. Seemingly a very charming and scheming medical girl reincarnates to a new world and starts her world conquest. ML is pedo plot device that solves all problems that MC alone can't deal with. He's fixated on... more>> her and harasses her nonstop whenever he's around after which he leaves the story for the next 20 chapters or so. There are numerous plot holes and MC's scheming is just a make believe writing as author comes up new things that were never mentioned before.

The idea was there but execution was not. It could have been amazing story made by anyone's except author's pen.

Josei and romance? Rather fetish and BD*M! <<less

I’ll start off by saying it was really good at first.

It had a lot of weird shortcomings, but I was able to see past that.

Spoiler

I don’t normally react even if the ML is kind of obsessed or stalker-ish, but the ML in this movel just takes the cake. There wasn’t any kind of “romance development” in this novel where the ML was gradually falling for the MC. The author justified by saying it was teasing st first until it became serious. That’s just lazy writing. He barely even appears lol.

Don’t even get me started with the power levels. The author didn’t put much emphasis on those and just randomly says what colour they are or their enemy is and it is a very shallow part of the novel.

The pacing was excellent up until the Yan country arc. It kind of fell behind at Thousand Beast City.. The war was exciting, but I find it ridiculous. The plot is moving on its own because they needed to find 8 pieces of the map. Sooner or later, it’ll be dry. After them getting the 5th map, I was getting tired of it.

I thought I could pull through for a few hundred more chapters. However, I couldn’t take it anymore when she rescued the little emperor of the Buckwheat Kingdom. I’m sorry, that sounded harsh but it simply went against her character. Sure, she had misgivings with the Condor country already, however that wasn’t her method of bringing down her enemy. She was reckless and even exposed their trump cards too soon. When they retreated, enemies were suddenly on guard. Even using the might of the Fire country as an emperor, it was too annoying for me to read. I can’t anymore. I’m so tired. I know she’ll do some mahor face slapping yet again, however she’s becoming too soft. She barely knew the little emperor. Ugh. I think I’m done with romance novels for now at least.

This started off very interesting the MC is quite OP, at I really enjoyed was the plot kept progressing well. Lots of new characters came and left, and it kept you wondering what was going to happen next.

Edit: After reading other Transmigration novels, I have so say this is one of the better ones. The translation quality is well mentioned throughout the 2000 over chapters. There's enough character development and the face slapping isn't forced. There's enough breathing room between each arc, it's not just brainless people looking to be... more>> faced slapped. When rereading the chapters you start to see hints and leading lines here and there that you might have missed when you first read it.

Note: However this novel has recently moved to Webnovel online and is premium. Spending 5stones on a single chapter. Its not a bad novel but it going premium as of chapter 101 for new readers it may not be worth it.

I LOVE it! ~ Definitely consider to read it! I higly recommend this novel.

recently I read many cn in this stile but this is the best at the moment! the MC isn't overbearing and most of the time very quiet. most things other MCs in this genre would make a fuss about are handled more smoothly an quietly.

but never! never! threaten her loved ones! then she is ruthless! but she isn't raging while getting her revenge.... she is cold like is while she displayes her power and lets people get... more>> executed... soooo cool! no long lasting annoying battles, she uses her influence and schemes brilliantly!

Spoiler

The chapter I'm currently at is called: "the art of killing". do I need to say more? XD

So having seen both the good reviews and the bad reviews:

I took this as a purely instant-gratification novel. The MC is pretty powerful, compared to people of the same field of specialisations / age group. The plot doesn’t really get going until six hundred ish chapters in (there’s only mentions of the main plot at 572ish I think) so the first half is basically her exploring the world she is in undercover while she upgrades her skills and stuff. According to the other negative reviews, after a while it becomes... more>> all about senseless torture and pointless maneuvering, but honestly most readers aren’t here for the extremely well thought out tactical detail / theoretical reasonings anyways.

On the male lead: yeah he’s a bit of a creep. Like he kinda stalks her. Physically, it’s like watching a slightly less overpowered Sebastian Michaelis (he apparently still has limits) interact with Ciel. Emotionally and character development wise idk wtf is going on calling him devoted is a bit obsessed. Also she is quite young (preteen) buuuttt back in the good ol’ Days, which this is trying to evoke, girls married young anyways so whatever.

It’s not the best, the cream of the crop or whatever. But it’s decent enough, so if you’re looking for a novel that requires minimum brain to read after a long day, for time killing or instant gratification or procrastination, this is ‘it’. Enjoy. <<less

I actually love this kind of story. The author's writing style is also easy to understand and the description about what's happening is quite deep. The MC grows from weak to strong. Not to OP 'cause she sometimes face some setbacks. But with her highly intelligent mind, she manages. Antagonists are not remarkable at all. I pretty much forget about after reading a few chapters where it doesn't mentions them. The way MC deals with her enemies is quite swift and cruel. It was fine with me. The ML is... more>> forgettable. He doesn't know how to express himself. His lines are very few. Even his men leave me quite an impression about them than the ML himself. The slow romance is torturous. They are both dense. <<less

I got to admit. The characters are one-dimensional, except for the FL. Among all of the characters, she's the only one who possesses character development, learning how to feel even if the amount is little. Every plan that the FL conjures, it's total success, and seemingly she already "predicted" the events that're going to happen in the future like a know-it-all, which is quite unrealistic but it reassures the readers that nothing bad is going to happen. Even so, the adventure scenes are quite entertaining and original. Who doesn't like... more>> satisfying slap-smacking with devoted leads? I am grateful that the novel doesn't over-drag the scenes of each slap-smacks with useless filler words like other rebirth/transmigration novels. Clear cut. On point. Fair deal. <<less

If you love chinese female transmigration novels then you will have to read this at least.

MC is silent type, doesn't give a sh*t and ruthless to enemies, but very caring towards her family even she has a hard time showing it. Not in almost every female kickass transmigration novels where everyone just hate the MC, this book shows the care of her family, Male lead, friends and her contract beast and pet. Some arc drags a lot but you might never notice it if you are binge reading with still... more>> a lot of chapters on hand because its very interesting, on the other hand if your gonna wait everyday for the chapter release your gonna find it draggy sometimes. The translation quality and pace is good though, I think the best site that I ever found.

Must try if you like this types of novel. <<less
