Su Ye, who perished with his boss in a fight over unpaid wages, is reborn as a newly hatched serpent—only to awaken the Predator System. What he thought would be his rise to power takes a twist when he’s transported into the infinite worlds, where the system assigns him a mission: slaughter reincarnators.

Only then does he learn that he belongs to another entity similar to the Main God’s Space—one called the Elder God Arena, a realm designed to hunt down the Main God’s reincarnators.

In this arena of infinite possibilities, Su Ye fuses the genes of countless species, climbing step by step to the pinnacle, defeating the Elder Gods… and becoming one himself.

It's a pretty decent power-fantasy if you just want a quick shot of dopamine and don't feel like thinking too much. The author throws in a bunch of familiar stuff : reincarnation, systems, game mechanics, gates, regression, that kind of thing. But because of that, they don't really focus on any one trope. It ends up feeling like a Jack of All Trades, Master of None. Nothing really stands out, and the plot turns into a mess.

There's barely any info about the world or how the power system works. Instead... more>> of letting the MC figure it out naturally, the author just dumps explanations in their author's notes. I don't get why they couldn't just build it into the actual story. Very ametuerish, but was I surprised? No. It's pretty predictable after reading so much slop. And I hate the fact that the author uses western "abilities and skills" in the early stages, but then it became a cultivation-like novel after Ch. 130'ish.

One thing that really annoyed me was how obsessed the narration was with the MC's looks. Like, it keeps talking about her "smooth skin, white as snow, tender and chubby" in 5 chapters interval. Do they have a l*li fetish or something? It comes off weird and kind of unsettling.

It does throw in some fun references to famous monster movies, which I actually enjoyed at first. But the way it leans into nationalism and even racism just ruined it for me. It's not even subtle either, they are very straightforward and hits you in the face the longer you read, and I just couldn't ignore it anymore. For example, the MC saying "I hate Black people" and kills them immediately, or saying something like "Dragon Country is much more powerful than USA, " like what the heck bro, they're literally in a parallel universe, stop being so racist.

Anyways, 4/10. Low quality slop, loli fetish, bad power system, nonsensical plot, but engaging and has a lot of action. Just try Became an Evolving Space Monster or I am The Swarm if you like monster-based novels. <<less
