In all I actually like the story. FL is a medical expert and she is really clever. When she was misunderstood by everyone she doesn't immediately solve the problem, instead she wait for the right moment to reveal the whole truth to everyone. She is calm and rational. Mainly that's what I like about her.

Simply put, extremely boring, the author keep hooking us by not clarifying the initial incident which is so annoying, angering actually. The MC has no presence, less than any other character, we don't know anything about her nor her thoughts, which is really, meh...

TLDR: 3.0-3.5 stars not quite good enough to round to 4. It's readable but a struggle in places.

Detailed: OK this one is a mishmash of second chance/transmigrated into a novel with a very OP MC. A fun Genre to be sure. It loses points on story telling. There's quite a few characters and none of them are introduced well, Every time one was introduced I felt like I was forced to memorize their resume and then receive an explanation of their motives. Telling rather than showing is bad enough but... more>> explanation us even worse.

On the plus side it seems to be an interesting family battle going on and I am curious about how it will play out, just not enough to buy coins from Webnovel.

After the first 80 chapters or so the novel finally finishes the significant character introductions and there's a lot of them.

What you get with this novel are lots of face slaps many of them you just shake your head at as they are just cardboard cutouts for the MC to knockdown. If anything you wind up feeling sorry for the targets. Big problem with a face slapping is having sour face slaps.

The last of the big drivers is very hard to process. The author seems never to have seen how a family operates and while the MC's family is just implausible the others are just plain ridiculous. Only exception is ML's family which is actually very well done

The last problem is the ending which isn't so much an ending as a fadeout after the last 500 chapters leave you scratching your head where they were coming from

This was a LONG novel, 1400+ chapters, and near the end I almost gave up because the villains kept getting dumber and dumber and the Mary Sue quotient of the FL and ML became ridiculous.

And the villains—How many times does the FL or ML have to slap the villain's face and make them lose everything before the villains learn their lesson and stop targeting the leads?

I understand this is a dog blood novel, but the villains each keep doing the same thing over and over and over and never learning

The only reason I finished is I was more interested in the family and the side couples than I was in the main couple, and even they were fairly disappointing

This story also had one of my least favorite tropes in it, fathers who are jealous of their infant sons

I wish there was more of the family in this novel and less Mary Sue Couple, cannot recommend

I'm on ch 400 and this is definitely one of the better novels of its kind out there.

Story is mostly patterned on being bullied and accused incorrectly then face slapping everyone and proving innocence after a long while. Rinse and repeat.

Interesting for a while but the novel doesnt seem to want to stop. There are multiple chapters where I felt they could have ended it but it keeps dragging on.

Like how shounen jump messed up bleach a bit by forcing author to continue the story than end on a high note.

Ok it's official I'm a masochist, well even if it's self-proclaimed doesn't make it any less true.
So, no doubt the story took off really well since the beginning, however, idk why the story started to get a bit dull then from a bit to more dull then full on dull. I think this author really loves writing, as only words after words were written even if they're showcase through short episodes. The author didn't even bother to explain many things, added f*cking extra characters as they liked, plot happened only for MC and ML to shine without giving any closure, forcefully pushing dreams and sh*t to make extra unnecessary plots, nor they have filled the plot holes and made up so much bullsh*t that exceeds the limitations of fictional world. The story after 500 chapters started to give me more than just migraine and extra eye bags that might have looked more prominent than any living panda. However, despite knowing this I continued till two nights and tortured myself, so I could finish this story.
Although, for new readers don't take my word to heart, cuz you wanna read go ahead and read like you have never done before. Because of two reason one is, it has more than 1400 chapters and second is this story initially had potential to become something else but it has completely become something else. Anyways really appreciate the translator for doing their job hats off to you boss especially for translating a story like this. I don't how much energy and motivation you're shedding for this story.

I loooove this novel - the premise, the MC, the regrets, I love it! As a sucker for familial regrets, this one hit the mark for me. MC is such a sweetheart. She's so pure and you just want to hug her and treat her as your younger sister. She has 3 brothers and 5 cousins. The familial regret mostly comes from her two brothers and the rest heavily dote on her. The antagonists of the story are complex characters and you just understand why they do what they do.... more>> MC and ML are both OP.

Why not 5 stars though? It's because it was great until around 1000 chapters, but afterwards there were too many conspiracies and issues that it started to dampen the mood. I'd say that chapters 1330-1430 can be skimmed through. Also, it had a pet peeve of mine, but this did not occur until near the end of the story (see spoiler).

I hate it when the father dislikes his child/ren. They put it in words that he loves his child/ren, but the father's actions say otherwise. ML does not even carry/hug his first child. He only did so when MC told him to hug his baby. The baby's only one month old and he assigned the baby to a nanny and traveled with MC. Basically, he sees the baby as a hindrance to the two-man world with his wife. They end up with 3 sons and 1 daughter. He only showed care for the daughter wtf. The daughter is treated as the most precious jewel, while the sons are left to do their own thing. This will comprise of the last ~10 chapters of the story, so this will not really be a deal breaker if this is your pet peeve as well.

This is your usual op Mary Sue x powerful/rich ML novel where both main leads could be said to be the equivalent of an onion or a matryoshka doll. Especially, the FL seems to have so many hidden identities it's ridiculous.

Considering the already large number of ridiculously unrealistically op characters, the countless number of incompetent antagonists just temporarily add some plot points as they are almost all handled very quickly and efficiently. Only one antagonist, the og. book FL, seems to crawl back again and again like a c*ckroach. But... more>> she also loses her importance quickly and even when she comes back, she is not a threat but rather like a dying fish stranded on the beach, still hopelessly struggling for life but ultimately losing out.

As for the main leads, my opinion of them is conflicted. For one, the FL is a bit infuriating at times since she can't seem to open her mouth to talk. Even when she is aware that there is a misunderstanding, she doesn't even bother explaining or defending herself. Everyone else handles it for her instead. Then there are times when she wants to handle everything herself, but still doesn't open her mouth to reassure the people around her so she needlessly lets everyone worry about her. I guess, her abysmally low EQ could be to blame for that.

Then there is the fact that the FL looks younger than her actual age... In general, that in itself is no problem, but the 19-year-old ML got interested in her when she was fifteen while only looking, what, twelve? Dude has the potential for being a pedo.

You see why I am conflicted? While the main leads are generally likeable, there are just a few points that keep nagging at me, leaving me with a subtle feeling of something not being quite right.

The plot is clichée, nothing I haven't read before, with a lot of unnecessary drama, but people dig that, I guess.

I struggled reading until the end, especially because of the last few chapters being centered around the next generation. As a childfree person who gets exhausted by the mere thought of children, reading about a horde of c*otch spawn had me staring at the chapter number, wishing for each one to be the last. The fact that the main couple's children are geniuses only fuelled the urgency to finish the novel. Genius children are a pet peeve of mine I didn't know I had until Chinese authors shoved them down my throat.

I think this novel could be considered as one of the most decent dog blood novel out there. Although the plot wasn't something new but it's still enjoyable to read. I particularly love the familial love in this story. It's so heartwarming and touching. I also love how MC wasn't consumed by hatred and desire to have a revenge even though her past was very heartbreaking because she knew she was also at fault in the past so when she got another chance, she didn't blame anyone nor did she... more>> cared about them anymore.

As for MC's relationship with ML, it was considered a slow-burn since MC was a bit naive in the field of romance. Her interaction with ML was quite sweet but I think it wasn't as sweet as her relationship with her families.

The ending was quite satisfying. Although the author brushed off some romances between the side characters but at least some of them got their happy ending. <<less

I liked this novel a lot more than I though I would.

The MC, Jian Yiling, is a bit like Xu Xindou (the MC of [The Legitimate Daughter Doesn't Care]). She was transmigrated in the middle of a serious conflict with her family, and earnestly tries her best to rectify the mistakes Jian Yiling made. A lot of problems arise as people get jealous that a previously bratty girl is suddenly getting good grades and what not. Since the MC is not familiar with having so many older siblings, it means a lot to them when she recognizes them as her brother and calls them "Ge".

Overall, this novel is not bad. The story telling isn't the best, then again novels over 1000 chapters aren't known for their story telling, so you kinda know what youre getting into. The plot, in my opinion, although a bit choppy, it had a lot of really good plot points (that I won't spoil) It made this novel interesting to read the whole way through.

I really like this one so far. After so many MCs that have overbearing and extroverted characters, I've found a liking to the more lowkey characters that express themselves through actions. The MC of this book doesn't talk much unless necessary but I find it rather endearing. Over all, she's just absolutely adorable.

Villains and side characters have more depth unlike some face-slapping novels.

They have their motives for doing so and not so unreasonable like brainless villains.

This novel has many supporting characters but not even one become a waste in one dimensional way.

Every character has their own colors and they have their own development.

It's worth your time.

Around 1400sh chapter. I've read at an MTL site. Very OP FL, the ML is a doting type, domineering to others but soft to FL.

She's the only girl in the family, 3 brothers, and the rest of male cousins. She transmigrated, the previous ML, at the latter part had regained memories of his past life, as well as one of her cousins.
