The title is definitely very misleading in regards to the sweetness. These were interesting if a bit weird, and not deserving such a low rating (3.1 as of now) in my opinion. Regardless of their individual settings, all of them have an air of western fairytale-like atmosphere.

1. Corpse Phenomenon

It starts with a strange phenomenon where corpses appear out of thin air randomly and shows how society reacts to it. Then it gets progressively weirder. Saying any more will likely spoil the entire story since they're all very short as it... more>> is. There's no romance or MCs and MLs in this one, just a little sci-fi and... weirdness. Maybe some implied BL smut if you tilt your head just the right way and squint very, very hard.

2. A Shameless Prince

This is the funniest of them all. It's been translated before, but I guess it was originally from here. It tells the tale of an utterly shameless prince, his two brothers with their own quirks, their adventures in saving a princess, and their respective happily ever afters.

3. After the 102nd Night

I'd say this was relatively the most well-balanced out of them all and my favorite. It's about a poet who was captured by the enemy king and uses the 1001 Nights technique in a bid to forestall his tragic end. It eventually works, but not in the way he expected. It has romance, and I love the ending.

4. A Gift of Grace

This one made me sad. While I won't say it's an outright tragedy, it's very close. It seems to be a comment on the usual 'cruel and obsessive' ML trope somehow.

5. Four Short Fairy Tales

As written in the title, this chapter consists of four short fairytales. They ranged from sweet to weird and are barely a few paragraphs long. No romance or BL here, just very short and mildly interesting fairytales.

All-in-all, it's something to pass time with if you want to read something short and weird with the occasional pinch of BL. <<less

I really enjoyed this one. I liked reading all of the four different fairy tales. They were all fun, short, and interesting reads.

Lol the title is a joke. Don't expect sweetness here (that teeth-rotting sugar) especially ch 4. Stories ranges from being weird to ok to wtf. See for yourself.

Also, ch 2 A Shameless Prince was already translated in this site, under the same name but different author (guess Matthia is their eng name)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading these short stories! They were very independent stories! The alien perspective was definitely interesting, especially the captain having a liking to the male humans. I thought it was interesting how they explained the bodies appearing and disappearing as well. I really enjoyed the shameless prince a lot. I'm glad he found his happy ending, he was hilarious lol I laughed a lot in this one. The third story with the demon and poet, I definitely enjoyed a lot. I'm glad he was able to be free... more>> from that, he was not a bad, just happened to be stuck there. The poet was the right person to get him to escape. I liked how he scooped him up in the end, and now they spend their days telling stories, I liked this ending a lot! The fourth story was a bit dark, and the ending was kind of a shocker but appropriate. I can't say if the mage will be happy after he realized that doing what he did wasn't worth it, but at the same time, he got his wish, except his past lover remembers what he did to him in the past to him coupled with love. This is an interesting combination, this one of all was a bit more on the darker side, but not bad. Thank you for the translation! <<less

I do think the title isn't quite accurate. I read these as all fairy tales, except the first. They have the rhythm and length of fairy tales. Which I, frankly, love cause I've thousands of fairy tales. Plus these were funny. I actually thought the first story was freaking hilarious. What a great take on alien abduction, and they were so logical about their method too. I do love the shameless prince, who wants a princess, I'll keep the wizard. The 1001 nights retelling I thought was really interesting and... more>> a better lesson for a nasty king. The creepy mage story-well he got what he deserved. The ultra quick one shots were interesting to see how to tell a story in so few words. All in all, I thought this was another very interesting collection from Matthia. And I do recommend it. I always think that some of the most interesting ideas are found in short stories. Enjoy! <<less
