Ah sorry but the MC is plain s*upid, all through out the reading, I was really annoyed with his decisions.

  • Double cultivated with ML then run away with the little Phoenix chick, just considering that it's fine running away since the chick can protect him from the beast in the area, since all through out the arc, the ML is protecting and guarding him.
  • Eventually found out he is pregnant, and decisively got an abortion twice but both failed. 1st time with the pill but it didn't work so the uncle of xixi gave him an option to burn the eggs inside him but doing so will also completely irradicate their soul, yet he still without hesitation opt for it. The babies screamed, asking for help, also he is in pain, eventually he decided to keep it since he'sin pain at the same time he felt pity towards the kiddos.
  • 2 years have passed, ML is in a dangerous situation so the love contract takes effect. He went to see again the ML and keeps blaming the ML for every little things his heart flutters.
  • Till ch27 he never mentioned their babies, and keeps on hinding it.
  • He also keeps on thinking on leaving the ML to return to the phoenix clan while the ML is still badly injured.
  • Have I ever mentioned that the great part of the reason why ML is battered is because of him? Yep it because of him. He was used as a soul curse medium leading to the weakness of ML.
  • He also have a preconceived judgement already that can't be changed. No matter how good the ML to him he still thinks that the ML is not a good thing.
  • Oh about the 2 kiddos, they are both half snake, half human. And I must mention that he have a great amount of favouritism towards his daughter. Even ignoring his son since he is upper body snake, lower body human, which for his aesthetics to be so ugly and dumb.
  • Also he thought carefully the name of his daughter, yet when he saw his son he just casually named him. Also he never hold his son.
  • Let's talk about MC's s*upidity. ML got ghost king's poison and he really believes that his low level pill can cure the ML. Since ML can't see him disappointed so he indulged him. And MC really thought all credits ghb goes to him.

ML is purely manipulative. Your typical stallion ML with a really harsh backstory.

I don't usually rate low but this thing is just not my cup of tea. <<less

I sometimes felt that the MC is kind of s*upid and I felt the ML is kind of pitiful.. The children are clever.. And only before the end the MC accepts ML..

The plot is seriously disgusting and the settings? Even more so.

The MC is naive, dense, cowardly, and partial. He have 2 child and it can clearly be seen that he is more biased on his other child when he gave them the names. The girl child he thought of the name for days and seriously, while the other one he just name casually.

The ML? Even more disgusting. I don't think he love MC, as he can bear MC being hurt just so MC will love and stay with him. He's... more>> just obsessed. I still can't believe he would let MC bear grievances, be humiliated, forced, etc. Just so MC will love him back. He will do ANYTHING. I do think he'll also use the child.

Anyway, -1/5 stars. Won't be seeing this again, never will be. <<less
