Its pretty good! I like this than the sequel... I read the sequel first and it wasn’t my cup of tea but the prequel was good.... well, the author made the sequel unique and made the ML and FL reincarnated... but the prequel was much more interesting..

I swear the sequel kept on shoving itself on my face. Now it's the prequel, well there I read it!

The story is nice but leaves an open ending. *Sigh*

Spoiler

base from the sequel, I'm guessing they died and transmig of reincarnated to the otome game. However, strange they forgot each other.

Having ramifications for being cold to the person that you care about is something that sets this story apart from many Josei tales with a romance element. Knowing that Sakura will eventually be reborn as Lidi offers further emotional impact. However, the odd dialogue in the fifth chapter feels a bit weird, however. Shion had to be told two years later, out of the blue, that he was in love with Sakura. It just felt a bit off as it offered little character development because he wasn't able to learn... more>> it on his own. Perhaps if he'd somehow extrapolated it from some of the materials that he was teaching students over time it would have felt more natural. But, there was no build-up at all, just his character being fed the answer. <<less
