Song Yu Meng is the book’s evil villainess, everybody in the school knows she likes the male lead Liu Luo Yang. To avoid any girl getting close to him, she’s willing to do anything.

Everybody in the school also knows, the person Song Yu Meng hates the most is her classmate Yi Ran. The two of them have such a bad relationship they’ll end up quarrelling everyday.

Classroom, teacher’s office, exercise field, canteen, these two have quarrelled everywhere in the school compounds.

Everybody thought they got along like oil and water, but one day——

Someone saw the two of them entering an empty classroom in the middle of the day and thought they were going to quarrel again, but who knew……

Yi Ran actually pushed Song Yu Meng against the wall and kissed her!!!

The crowd looking to watch a show all got shocked: These two are arguing, why did it suddenly end up in a kiss?!

Very cute! I thought it was pleasant to see that it wasn't some sort of "you were the first to make me feel this way" text. For one character, at least.

Seeing the transition of the FL from being obsessed with a PoS guy to gradually beginning to like the MC was adorable.

I like the jealous elements, but it was a bit too sweet. They're so malleable for their lover that they'll easily agree to whatever they say not to do. Don't do this, you're not allowed to do that. All harmless things said out of jealousy, but maybe I'd rather they have more freedom. Probably reading too deep into this eh?

Overall, a sweet piece that leaves you smiling throughout. The unromantic bits don't leave you wanting, and the small things the author adds in the beginning to make the end interesting are a tad obvious, but appreciated nonetheless. <<less

I have a weird love for bickering between mains in Yuri. Especially when they don't mean it, cause it then becomes endearing and gives you a good laugh 😄. Which they deliver in loads in this story.

Nice read so far. Crisp translation, haven't come across any spelling errors. A good laugh, likeable main characters. With last of all but not least, teasing and banter that will make you smile 😁.

I currently dropped this. Like the other reviewer ellie357 mentioned the misogyny when it describes what FL wears is super grating, and it's not even a one off issue, it's happened several times so far where I'm at. I think the author wanted to... more>> make it seem cute by making MC jealous that FL dressed seductive but it reads as uncomfortable internalized misogyny when MC's disproving thoughts are described

The relationship between the two still hasn't really progressed either. It's a constant cycle of FL's crush making her cry, being a total cheater and scumbag, MC comforts FL, then FL's crush comes and talks to her on the side saying flowery words because he needs her as a backup plan and FL forgives him and falls back in love. Which has happened numerous times. And FL says something harsh to MC and buys her candy to make her forgive her. I find it annoying when the main couple have so many avoidable misunderstandings and fights.

I realized I was struggling to force myself to enjoy this and tried imagining it as a het BG novel with nothing changing except the MC or FL's gender and vice versa. And I realized I would have despised it and rated it like <2 stars and dropped it far earlier.

Don't treat this as a be all end all review though, according to the others it seems to get better but I just couldn't reach the point being halfway through the book already

This is a really sweet and cute novel with dog food being fed to us readers too often.

The relationship progresses naturally and quite beautifully.

In short it's a sweet read.

I started reading this novel yesterday and here I am completed and absolutely in love. I adore this dynamic between the two characters and wouldn't settle for anything else. Not going to lie, I even got a little impatient and just bursted through the raws myself. (ahh knowing chinese bliss)

Most of the novel will be within the school. IT GETS SO DAMN SWEET AT LIKE CHAPTER 40 THE TSUN TSUN RICH GIRL STICKS LIKE A LITERALLY GUM TO OUR YIRAN... But if them doing it is what you're looking for, be disappointed. It's still absolutely sweet though.

A feel-good, with a classic enemies-to-lovers trope novel. I loved reading this a lot. If you're looking for a heartwarming, tsundere x mischievous puppy, fluffy story, this novel is the way to go. I think I almost broke my cheeks from smiling so much.

Although some aspects of this were imperfect, with some morally conflicting parts, I do acknowledge the differences in my views and the author's views. Overall, that is completely overshadowed by how great the story and the two main characters are.

This story is very relatable and is also... more>> believably set in a highschool setting. I really loved Song Yu Meng's multidimensional character. And Yi Ran's strength to keep up with all of that, LMAO. They're such a well written couple surging with chemistry. And, I don't regret reading this novel. It's 9.5/10 for me! <<less

SO SWEET!!!! I GOT CAVITIES AFTER READING THIS!!! Ngl, I feel like transmigration doesn't play a huge role in this story and it wouldn't have changed much if Yi Ran hadn't been a transmigrator, but that doesn't negatively impact my feelings of this story over all.

If you're looking for dramatic face slapping or unmasking white lotuses or any of that, you won't really find it here. It's way more focused on MC and FL's relationship, and it's SUPER SWEET.

It’s a short but cute and sweet story! If you’re looking for something sweet and doesn’t mind possessive characters then you should go read this! Both MC and FL are possessive but they handle each other very well. They even like each other’s possessiveness. They suit really well together, they’re match made in heaven!

It’s my first time writing a preview online. It was just so cute that I want to write a preview lol

I feel so alone on my opinion on this novel so I guess hear me out.

Either this is my sign that "slice of life" isn't my thing or this novel is just uninteresting.

Pros:

There's some depth to that one girl (Xu Yuan)

Cons:

Main Characters: I get that this is a story in a book but the characters HAVE to have some common sense. When I say this, I mean our love interest, Song Yu Meng. Her one sided love for that one guy gets unbearable after a certain point, especially because even though I can't support him, the way she goes about her affection isn't really something I can get behind. Most people seem to think it's cute so I guess it's just me.

Writing/Plot: The plot is not compelling to me personally. I checked the tags, slice of life wasn't there. The story reads like one though. There isn't really a main plot point. We just follow Yi Ran as she goes about her day, annoying Song Yu Meng. Another thing is the relationship progression is slowww.. Like the chapters feel like I've read a whole bunch of quibbling without substance. <<less

i'd give the story itself a 3-4 star. I remember reading it a while ago and really not liking some of the plot points and the ending was imo a bit rushed. Beginning was really good though. But out of my policy of rating gl novels highly and the translator's translations, ive rated it as above

i really really liked this story!!! Its a short and sweet read, and objectively a good place to leave off, because everything was tied up well and it left me feeling very satisfied. I also almost feel bad for giving it a 4 star rating because it brings down the rating (LOL) but there was a recurring theme that irked me a bit, and it was brought up in a previous review I saw. And don't get me wrong, I love reading about jealousy in fiction because it can be... more>> heart wrenching or hilarious but I dont love it when its rooted in misogyny. If it had occurred like once or maybe twice it would have been fine, but like I said it was kinda a recurring theme

at one point the gong MC gets super jealous because you can see *gasp* the shou fls shoulders, stomach and back! Like cmon. Are you a north american highschool teacher?

it also gets more annoying though. FL remembers MC saying something along the lines of "you should only wear that in the house around me" so the FL does that for MCs birthday, right at the end of the story. I really wanted it to have a sweeter/better ending idk but I could also see how, if you found that hot, it would be a good way to start to end the story

for me, the fls jealousy was the kind of jealousy that I like, because the MC (and me!) just thought that she was super cute, and kinda unreasonable (but like, in a doting way). Anyways! I really liked this story, the translation was amazing and I do recommend it! <<less

It's very cute (aside from some of the pretty over the top jealousy stuff that crops up here and there that I don't find nearly as romantic as the author clearly does) although the transmigration aspect is so barely present as to make me wonder why it's present at all.

First of all, I’m very much sad the the series has ended. I just can’t get enough dog food from these two. I mean even ants will die from their sweetness!

I must admit, I was kinda disappointed that the scum Li-something (his name is not even worth remembering) and the Yuan girl (her name is also not worth remembering) doesn’t get a satisfying end. They just vanished a few chapters before the ending. But then again, it’s fine ‘cause I don’t want to see anymore of their s*upidity.

Anyway, guys you... more>> really really need to read this. It has fluff, a bit of a drama and lots and lots of dog food to eat hehe. I’ll not spoil anything since you know it’s kind of a shame and I’m pretty sure other readers will do the job for me. So I just recommend this y’all.

Just to dang adorable!! The interacts between Yi Ran & Song Yu Menu are just funny & sweet. To be honest even though it says it a short story it doesn't feeling very short... Which this fan isn't complaining at all. It would be interesting if there was a time skip at the end. Other than that quite enjoyable read~<3

Sweet, so sweet, very sweet, too much sweet ahhhhh

The two main characters here are both dumbass. One is dumb and cool and the other one is dumb and haughty. They always got into trouble together with themselves, teachers and their classmates. That's how their relationship develops.

The interaction between these two dumbass is cute. And the cuteness level just exponentially raise with each chapter. I nearly died of sugar overdose reading this story :p

Had me squealing, whimpering, screaming my lungs out and vibrating. YR and SYM my pookies were just too cute. Back then I was reading this, I was having a massive turmoil about my sexuality because I can't figure out whether I'm a lesbian or just an as*xual that enjoys lesbian related stuff but then I read this novel and cemented the fact that yes I am gay, also SYM just too cute, I would very much like to read a sequel of them being married and having kids
