“From today onwards you are no longer my son. Get out”

Being born into a noble family that is aiming to become the ‘strongest’, at his aptitude ceremony held on his 12th birthday it was discovered that Igni could only use fireballs.

Igni who can only use beginner level magic was kicked out of his house.

With no where to go and without much magical ability, Igni is scraping by through life. However, one day he has miraculous reunion.

“What? Is that Igni there?”

“Gr-grandpa!?”

It was a reunion with his grandfather, the man who was once called the strongest [Kyokuten] but was banished from his noble family because of his excessive womanizing…!

“Grandpa! You said strong men are popular, but I can’t be strong!!”

“Igni, listen carefully. Strong men are popular but, hard-working men are even more popular!!”

“Grandpa! I’ll try my best!!!”

Igni whose parents who banished Igni from the house, didn’t yet know of his obsession with being popular under the guidance of the strongest [Kyokuten] magician…!

“Igni that magic!”

“This? It’s a fireball”

“With this you can aim for [Kyokuten]! Come back here!!”

“Nobility isn’t popular”

“What are you saying?”

This is a story where a young magician becomes the strongest by honing his skills all in order to become popular.

Definitely a good read. You read this novel for its comedy. Don't expect any complicated world building, character development, and dialogue. The sole driving point of the novel is his conversations with his grandpa: how to become popular with girls. Sometimes he applies his grandpa's advice at the wrong scenario which is extremely funny.

I recommend you to try to read this novel, who knows, you might get popular using the tips one day. (Lol)

The protagonist wants to be popular with ladies..... This is the solo driving force for pushing him from weakest flame (only fireball) user to strongest (only fireball) user.....

Unlike other exile novel, it doesn't have extra drama.... It is spacially fun with the interaction between him and his grandfather who gives lecture about women..... Gags are funny without getting bored....

Although protagonist can only use fireball, it has different types which is quite interesting.....

... more>> Looking forward to the future.....

P.S.- This novel may be named as "100 Ways to get along with Girls".... All single virg*n man all over the world can read it..... (lol).... <<less

Im mixed on what ratimg to give this one. On the one hand I dont think it deserves a perfect score, but on the other I enjoyed it. Its a fun read with the MC wanting to be a playboy and though he is op, he isnt I can one shot everyone op. The fights, while not perfect, are short and sweet. Dont read this if you are looking for romance. But if you wanna have some dumb fun with a nice MC that goes around seducing girls and whatnot.... more>> The side characters are not deep or anything, but are also really nice. What can I say, its a light read thats fun if you dont have anything else to read. <<less

Hmmm usually I don't like the clueless and dense type of protagonists. Most of them are kinda bland, and you don't even clearly understand their motives, or background. Well this protag is also dense, but in this case his s*upidity is actually what makes him charming and standing out from others. He's quirky but thinks like a human being and reacts like a human being. Most of what he does you always know what he's thinking and would understand why he does that. He's OP, but what makes his journey... more>> interesting is his struggle on how to become popular with girls. While his motives are not the purest, the author till this point still manages to make this character consistent with his goal. MC doesn't always get what he wants and things aren't turning out as how he planned. Side characters are also pretty interesting and the good point about them is that they're not mindless idiots like other side characters from other low-tier fantasy novels who immediately oppose the MC for no reason. Overall a fun and light read with not so much drama until this point, so give it a try. <<less

I'm gonna explain it in a generic way. The story is easy to follow and somewhat predictable (not in a bad way). The build up of the characters are well put together with some mysteries left to uncover. 5/5 would read again.

Mc's a super push-over, mess with him and you'll be buddies. He even forgot he l**ked someone's shoes.

The only good point about this story is his flashbacks about grandpa's teachings, it makes me laugh everytime. But when courting death people came in the scene, it never fail to disappoint me. Every f*cking time the MC just defeat them in a battle and when he wins he just call it quits no face-slaps, no killings. Hell he wouldn't even beat them up properly. An enemy he already defeated would just mess... more>> with him again the next chapter since there's no need to recuperate, they didn't even get a scratch. Pokemon's Team Rocket atleast gets toasted and blasted away to who knows where.

If u have atleast 3 IQ, you'd take measures so that an enemy you already defeated wouldn't come and bite u again in the future but this little sh*t just got bitten again the next chap by the same opponent he already defeated. It's not even strong, just a tricky mob. <<less

At first, it was clichè, but it has a unique system of Magic. You won't be regretting reading it because it will be getting better as you read further, it becomes funnier because of the flashbacks of the MC (how it worked most of the time), and situations. 55% of it is comedy but it is going to make you laugh and that's the beauty of it. Wished I read it sooner. I enjoyed every second of it, I don't have a major issue with anything. 5/5 a diamond within... more>> the rocks. <<less

s*upid and hilarious but also pretty bad when it's trying to take itself seriously instead of making the same joke over and over again. Then it stops being a self-aware parody and starts being straight-up cringe

MC is a lovable idiot. The dialogue between him and his grandfather, peppered throughout the chapters, is absolutely hilarious.

Novels with the romantically confused / clueless protagonist are normally pretty awful but this one actually makes the formula work.

Igni knows what he wants, trained under an unparalleled master in order to learn the skills he'll need to get it, but lacks the necessary experience in order to fully take advantage of all the knowledge he gained.

The results are hilarious.

Usually I don't like dense protagonists but the MC is interesting enough to make you care about him. Also even as dense as he is, he deserves the affection of the girls and those girls aren't idiots or easy women.

This is definetely shounen so don't expect over complicated story and realistic logic and you can expect tons of plot armor. The tone of the story is light and no drama are milked to much. Its basically shounen action novel with only a little stress element.

Grandpa, over the course of the MC's training, would guide him on the path of the popular. The "grandpa flashbacks" where the MC get's that guidance are hilarious, and often on point? I feel like I should take notes...

... The author broke the magic law and logic so many times. The science and deeper explanation about the magic is super cringe. Minus point on the magic. But the I gotta say, the story and the comedy is superb! The author clearly knows how to write interesting dialogues and move the story. Plus points on comedy settings.

Not particularly deep or intricate but it does its job excellently as a comedic spin-off of this usually edgy genere. A s*upid but lovable MC gets guided by a lecherous geezer and gets the most absurd of goals to acheive. 5 stars so far for being a funny, lighthearted read but could change since we're only 9 chapters in.

Also the author making tsukkomis in the middle of the chapter always cracks me up

The thing I hate most is the Dense/Clueless Harem Proragonist troupe in shounen novels, most of them tend to be generic and frustrating to read but this one is the exception to the rule because the author made it deliberate like that due to the plot's premise and it really works.

The story itself is nothing serious or elaborated it's mostly comedy but it will give you a good laugh periodically because Igni and his grandpa are the best duo you will ever find, their interactions basically carried the entire novel... more>> and you won't never get bored at their shenanigans.

For me is a five star, is the kind of silly novel that keep you smiling constantly. <<less

"Gyurururururururururu"

"Zudodododododododo"

"Doooooon"

Do you ever wanted to know, what spinning fireballs, explosions, machine guns etc. Sounds like? Then welcome to extreme flame wizard. You will read a lot of sound effects and it is very cringe and throws you out of the fights. Tbh, the first 15-20 chapters I didn't even notice it, or they weren't as much or any sound effects to begin with. I don't know, but later on I noticed them everywhere and it started to really annoy me. I can't unsee or just ignore them. They are honestly... more>> too cringe and downgrade any fight to a comedy performance. Be also prepared to read a lot of [FLAME ARMOR - IGNITE]. Until my latest chapter I don't know what his attacks have to do with armor, but you will read a lot of this "attack name". As you see, this is a novel, where the protagonist and the opponents shout their attack names all the time. It isn't as cringe as the sound effects and can be overlooked, but it's still strange after you read [FLAME ARMOR - IGNITE] for the 50th time.

Other than that, it's an okay novel for a certain demographic. It's more on the comedys side, as the protagonist wants to be popular with the girls and the grandpa taught him tips, how he can be popular, but in reality it's (hopefully) just an excuse to get him stronger (or both).

It's a very light hearted novel, where the looser protagonist gets trained by his grandpa, gets very op and implements his tips to become popular with girls. There are no complicated plot twists or a real story as for now.

I can't rate it, because I'm not the targeted group and I only read 26 short chapters, but I think this novel is readable, if you can ignore the cringe factor.

Try it out if you can withstand an atmosphere full of

dudududududududududududududdududududus, kachaaaaas and pows ;) <<less
