It's really cute and lovely even though the ending wasn't good enough I'm satisfied. And the roommates and the whole university was amazing 🤣

Sweet and funny at times. Romance develops naturally and gives you a satisfied feeling. Both MC and ML are mature ppl who treat each other well. Also there's a bit of smut for those who want it, and a lovely heartwarming ending :)

5/5 ONE OF THE BEST FLUFF & SLICE OF LIFE ROMANCE NOVELS EVER

Ye Zhou and Shang Jin are so so adorable together and their interactions, starting from a misunderstanding, were so cute and funny (made me snicker). The 2 of them really have mutual respect, trust, and good communication between them, and the way they treat each other is really sweet and heartwarming. Very healthy relationship indeed, and lots of light-hearted teasing between them. There's not really much angst here ... more>>

Cute. The 'extras' are the most important part imho, the coming out storyline really grounds the fluffyness and makes this a better novel.

I have nothing to say about this novel. It was GREAT KABSOABSPA AOS.

It was a great coming of age story, right behind my number one favorite coming of age danmei, Fake Slackers (I also highly suggest if you liked this one :>)

God my heart broke into a million pieces and at the same time I couldn’t control my very sad but happy laughs.

This is the first danmei I've read so maybe this is a bit biased. But I'll tell you, this is wonderful, it's simple, sweet, and hilarious. There's not much of a conflict. The characters are so s*upid (not in a bad way) that makes it so funny. The romance between the MC and ML is slow burn and even after they got together, they are still not too sweet with each other, but I like it that way, even though they are not too showy of their feelings, what they... more>> feel is real. sweet, cute interactions, I get that part but the plot was a little draggy and unimportant things were stuffed in many instances just to keep to the bulk of the story. Many characters were introduced but they had no depth in terms of plot and character development. Normally I would expect it given the length of the series. Relationship is very slow burn.. Didn't get to confession till ch 50+ MC n ML didn't even kiss till the end of the story. They only went as far as kissing so... more>> for those who are looking for smut, you will not get it here. Suitable for those pure hearted souls who are looking for sweet interaction btwn the couple's everyday life and satisfied with kissing as the end game. <<less

Nice read! Just read this pure BL novel to relax from action/horror/mystery BLs lol. It was nice, you can really feel the college love life and makes you think what you've been doing in college hahahah these couple be reading book everywhere fr. Top 1 and 2, they really fit each other so well hehehe didn't imagine how important the pedicab would be hahahhaa shang ye number, I hope we also had that. So supportive classmates/dorm mates. Just here to rate the novel, but overall, this novel is super cute too! Some scenes are bittersweet, but other scenes make it up with the super fluffy and sweet interactions between MC and ML. Their friends are hilarious, causing so many misunderstandings.

So far this is the fastest book i've ever finished to read. It took me only 2 days, and that's mean the story is sooo gooddd, I really love the plot and the characters. Totally recommended to read 😍😍💜💜💜

Rating: 5/5- Really well written, beautifully realistic characters and a simple yet profound story.

I was hooked on this cute romance from page one. I must admit that the MC’s aloofness to his own feelings did irk me but it wasn’t to the point of irritation.

I particularly liked how the story didn’t downplay toxic families but how it also showed healing and moving forward. Another huge bonus is the supportive environment for people with different s*xual orientation and how it wasn’t seen as a disease or the cause for bullying, careless... more>> judgement and disgust etc. Many of the side characters also showed growth in their relationship with the leads.

Overall I really loved this story and I highly recommend it. It’s a relatively relaxed read but incredibly sweet and enjoyable with a substantial plot and wonderful, complex characters. <<less

😭😭😭 definitely worth the read!!!

An amazing love story, it doesn't feel forced at all, it was endearing seeing Shang Ye fall in love so slowly, even when it was all a misunderstanding but they had so much more in common that they expected

It's such a cute and healthy relationship, they both help each other to improve as a person, they learn new things together, respect each other's decisions and personal space. It's all way too beautiful!!

I didn't want this novel to end bc it's so beautiful, it has a good pace, the characters are very fun and it's written in a fun and cute way, this novel should be adapted to a manhua bc it has the potential ❤️

the beginning was kind of hard to read just because the misunderstanding seemed to suck so much but as you go on you realize and learn more about why the characters feel what they do and stuff. It's a pretty short read and there's a lot of funny moments so I recommend

I can't believe I held off on reading this at around Chapter 10 (at the reasoning that supportive friends are weird, but that's just me having none lol) but I'm glad I picked it up again.

A perfect amount of comedy, fluff and drama. And even though the MC and ML are Mary sue-ish the characterization is perfect and pacing is so organic and realistic. Definitely a great heartwarming and fluffy story if you want to fell good and pass time.

I was ready at criticizing this novel but dang I love it so much :'c

Definitely a good story if you're not looking for anything too deep. I loved the banter and the chemistry between the MC and the ML. If you need a break from yandere stories, this is a great read.

A very good story with a cherry on top!

The love I have for the main couple are beyond words. I really like how realistic this seemed to be, especially the struggle of being an educated family with a lot high expectations and being second was never good enough... the MC's family was totally beyond repair there was no room for change.

ML's character is so satisfying that I can't predict his next actions, thus I was further anticipating every chapter for him. Even the side characters were so cute... oh how... more>> I there could be a potential second otp lmao <<less

Super fluffy and super cute it's also quite realistic too besides that it's a straightforward Slice of Life BL that u don't need to think too hard about it I felt like reading Star X Fanboy at some point at first it was ok but when u start enter the college arc it's where I personally got extra Hooked because the amount of dog food they're serving

Besides that I like how the CP is very understanding like for exm when the MC needs something or want something he just needs... more>> to call the ML name's it was really cute and enjoyable and the nerve racking scene of MC coming out gave me a sht Ton of cold sweat because phew that felt too real.

In short if u would like a Fluffy straightforward enjoyable slice of life BL with no drama and no (heavy like stuff that'll make u go scream "f*ck WHY WONT U COMMUNICATE?!" Type) misunderstanding this is may be your cup of tea. The MC is also slight dense but in a good way overall I give this a 4.9 1 star short cause I wanted more extra's <<less

The writing is so casual in it's feeling that it truly feels like I'm reading about someone's real life. This is epitome of slice of life for me because it's realistic not to the point of over dramatic ever.

Both main characters have a background that is never overdone. It's like they are living with what they have had to deal with, exactly how real human do. Despite this novel's low-key style, the MC and mo are the most realistically written characters I have ever seen (also the brother & families).

The... more>> ML also is very great because he bends and flows as someone who loves the MC but somehow also never seems untrue to his character, it just feels like another facet to his personality that grew from having a relationship with the MC - which is what real good real relationships are like, they help you grow.

Both characters have their strengths and weaknesses very very well written in this novel.

The only like roll your eyes this is a novel feeling comes from his a uni friends but hey I get it. And honestly in the grand spectrum of the novel, they are hardly even an issue at all.

I recommend this for casual reading so you can honestly read about two very real-life people and how they are together. Also good translation. <<less

Finished reading this novel in one day which is an achievement for me! A friend of mine recommend this and it was worth it! Really!!

I really like how their relation go on! And also to have supportive dormmates/friend~!!

From the summary I thought this would be more about the MCs 2nd place complex, but it really wasnt.

The relationship between the ML and MC progressed from "rivals" (cuz to the ML he wasnt rlly a rival), to friends, to then being lovers.
