so first of all, this is a selfcest kind of story. So MC went back in time where she was still 16 yrs old but ends up in the body of her step mother who she hated so much in her past life. The step mother made the MC suffer so much in the past life to the point where MC became cold and distrustful and eventually she committed su*cide. MC was annoyed on how a weakling her past self is, MC tried to teach her on how to become stronger. But MC also doesn't want to see her past self suffer so ends kind of soft hearted while looking cold. Her past self came to admire the MC, because despite looking cold, she is always being treated kindly by MC. And eventually that admiration turned to attraction.

So basically this story is

MC (future past life) x MC (past self)

into thinking that she tried to take care of FL but then became like there's a motive behind her every action. My brain cells dropped as I read on about the plot becoming schemes and chasing back the relationship that was personally ruined by her hands.

Past life: Original Chen Rao got together with her dad to drive MC insane and destroy her personality as Chen Rao has fallen in love with the sub evil personality (FL).

But this hastened the growth of MC to kill everyone and rebirth into the past but now facing the FL who was faking as the MC's kind self.

MC, was getting exhausted in dealing with the original body (stepmother) 's older brother, events, etc. + FL being clingy and possessive. In the end, to get past the morality between stepdaughter-and-stepmother relationship, a typical car accident was used to fake her death. The end of 'her' brother living in fear of death was forgotten and the helper helped in the betrayal.

Schemes. Heartbroken but backstabbing. When she knew MC was the main personality, her IQ dropped to the negatives like a fool falling in love and becoming a dog licker/simp.

Hated the 2nd half of the novel which included more from FL's POV of feeling wronged after facing rejection from MC. Like bruh, how would you feel if your past self scheme, backstab then confesses to you (in the shoes of MC)
